If you were just reading my two posts, I took them down only because I have an opinion coming in off the board, so I may have answered my own questions. :D I will get the quitclaim back on the board when I have read the opinion.

RE: PIO

I misread it too! We have police spokespersons in England, or media/press officers. And had public information broadcasts in the old days.

Glad it's been pointed out.

Forgive my clumsiness, am writing upside down... In order to join the conversation, could someone with local knowledge of the terrain between Bob's place and let's say perhaps Running Springs, comment. Google Maps cannot give me more than straight facts.
Has anyone taken a drive along that route? Is it isolated in parts? Wooded? Rural?
I have one other question in particular. Does JeM own any rural property other than the residence in RS?

Hi Mountain Misst-how amazing that you are writing upside down!

Yes to almost all of the above. We have a SAR thread-check the link in my signature. You will find some more specific information from locals who have driven the roads and grids being created based upon certain facts from the case.

It may well be worth you while visiting Bob Harrod's SR thread for some info I think you would find useful. We've had a kind offer of help from a local there too. Just click on the link in believe09's sig.

Local posters will chip in here too, I'm sure.

believe09, we're going to have to stop doing this.

 Wish I had thought of that... ;)

If nothing else, folks know that we are not the same person.

I was beginning to wonder myself, believe!

MountainMisst, I can't find my old link or link a new one from youtube on this device, but if you search for OHV trails + any location you want terrain info on, some very informative, hair-raising videos appear.

Over the past 24 hours, I have become completely convinced that our 'impossible' timeline is actually telling us the story of what happened to Bob. In code. We just need to crack it.

In the meantime, I've just made myself feel sick watching OHV ( off highway vehicle) trails again.

For Australian cousins who want a picture of the California landscape; if you take a touch of Alice Springs; shake in a sprinkle of the Murray River (in flood and dry); add a good handful of bush where people can go walkabout for a long time, with more than a few never returning; nature parks where you go camping with the kiddos; throw in the bush fires; a big cup of Sydney harbour beach front; and then, just for luck, throw in mountains, mines, and deep snow.

Welcome to California.

Thanks Believe09. That's exactly what I needed. I didn't have a hope in hades of catching up. Shall filter through the grey matter and hopefully be able to add some constructive feedback.

Greyhound-ed CA as a young'un.. Happy to be back even if it is hands-across-the-water...

Has anyone found NoZme's new thread? I've searched and searched. A link would be appreciated, if anyone has it.

  • #814
I haven't had any luck locating the thread downstairs either. NoZme, when you read this could you give is a link or some breadcrumbs to follow? Much appreciated :)

Zwiebel, I had a look back to the beginning - right after Bob's disappearance and found this on Thread #1, page 1.

Time Bob Was Last Seen?

Does anyone know what time Bob Harrod was supposedly last seen? Detective Loomis in the July 30th article says that the Home Depot receipt shows that JM paid for items after 3PM. Another article says Bob was last seen at 1:00PM, and a missing flier from the PD says Bob was last seen at 11:00AM. Daughter J mentions a time of Noon or 1:00 in a video, I believe referring to the time her husband returned to the house. Is the reference to 3PM a misprint and was really supposed to be receipt showed he paid for his items after 1PM?

Four Examples, all with different times:
<snipped>

We (I mean WS - not me) have been working with the same time issues from the beginning! We were hoping, with the teaser for the episode that this would be corrected. Yet, with the narration missing, none of the time issues have been addressed.

What time did Bob Harrod go missing?

:moo:

Interesting reading Thread 1, page 1 again. It was post #3 on that same page a WS'r suggested that the SIL was concerned about not inheriting anything because Bob had up and married. Interesting considering what Det. Rad confirmed via the recently aired Disappeared show on Bob's case.

For some reason it reminded me of the early days when Bob's daughters were trying to convince the public that the Bob Harrod Fontelle was engaged to was a different Bob Harrod from the same town and that she had planted these memories in Bob's head.

As for Bob's CA family clarifying the timeline that will never happen. This is the kind of evidence the DA needs to look at. All the things that make no sense and should be raising enormous red flags. All 5 of them need to be charged accordingly. At minimum they've all played a part in hampering the investigation into Bob's disappearance.

Hey, I'm here now. When I logged on to WS I suddenly had the urge to check out ROTW forum. I read that JeM is undergoing chemo treatments for cancer. Has that been revealed here & I missed it?

About the ParkingLot thread, a message popped up saying the new topic would have to be appproved by a moderator. I kept checking back too then finally messaged Sue this morning to get a status... no reply thus-far. I was disappointed not hearing back yet, should I try another of the downstairs mods? Whenever i do get a response, i will post here, pronto.

It's wonderful to see the increase of traffic reading about Mr Bob. There are usually "guests" listed below... join us... please!

AFAIK, it has not been revealed here. I have to wonder if JeM knows he has cancer. Seems he and his wife have managed to contract about every deadly illness known to man, just about the same time another ROTW member is having the exact same illness.

Thanks for keeping us posted on the PL thread. Glad to see you're still working on it.

I searched the TV guide to see what the next episodes of Disappeared are to be shown here - they are Hatice Corbacioglu and Bob Wykell, which I think have both been shown there? I still find it so odd we got the Bob Harrod episode first.

woot woot, looks as if discussion area for bullet pointing and organizing our facts for distribution has been approved. Thank you to our mods who have given the go ahead so that we won't derail the discussion of the case in this thread.
