I searched the TV guide to see what the next episodes of Disappeared are to be shown here - they are Hatice Corbacioglu and Bob Wykell, which I think have both been shown there? I still find it so odd we got the Bob Harrod episode first.

The hows and whys of that happening are still a mystery to me but I sure am glad it garnered Bob's case new attention and brought fresh minds and ideas to the thread.

Thanks. The show about Bob Wykell aired here (in the US) and I saw it the other day. I think the one about Hatice aired here too - the video is on the Disappeared website.

Hey, I'm here now. When I logged on to WS I suddenly had the urge to check out ROTW forum. I read that JeM is undergoing chemo treatments for cancer. Has that been revealed here & I missed it?

About the ParkingLot thread, a message popped up saying the new topic would have to be appproved by a moderator. I kept checking back too then finally messaged Sue this morning to get a status... no reply thus-far. I was disappointed not hearing back yet, should I try another of the downstairs mods? Whenever i do get a response, i will post here, pronto.

It's wonderful to see the increase of traffic reading about Mr Bob. There are usually "guests" listed below... join us... please!

I think that story line needs to be taken in the context of everything going on in the last several months, frankly. No one outside of JuM, JeM and the doctor(s) involved have any idea of the accuracy of those posts.

I do think at a minimum the timing of the revelation is interesting.

You know it's foxtel Australia, don't you Oriah? It's been shown nationwide there but I don't think a video has been released.

Excuse me if I've got this all wrong. I've made myself dizzy watching OHV youtubes and searching for the new thread.

I would like to say for the record, that if Bob's son-in-law is sick, I genuinely hope all his treatment is completely successful, he gets well very soon and he lives a very long life.

He can't reasonably be expected to help in the search for Bob now. It is worth remembering he never helped when he was well though, and this present news does not alter the past.

I am so untechnical with things like this and we only have a PS3 for DVDs, so I don't think that is a writable DVD player?

Let me see if I can find something that would help.

You can record Foxtel DVR recordings to a blank DVD using a DVD player. It is pretty easy to do if you google.

I found a lot about ripping DVD's using your Ps3, but not using the device to actually record them.

It makes sense to be able to-if your cable is coming through you Ps3 and your Ps3 can play DVD's, you would think you could record what is showing.

I thought I was "keeping up", but someone posted that they'd caught up and read the reason that the ID Disappeared episode has been postponed (in the U.S.). Why? (other than speculation that "something important" is happening in the investigation...but we did that, too, when the trailer was pulled, way back when). It sounded definitive, like the reason has been officially announced.

Now we are all trying to figure out how to get the recordings our Aussie friends made on to You tube.

I want to see that show sooooooooooo bad (yep, overstating the obvious for many of us).

I've also been pondering how long DA's continue collecting circumstantial and financial evidence before finally moving ahead with a "no body" criminal case. Sorry, Mr. and Mrs. Harrod, I don't mean to be disrespectful. Based on "everything", I just can't think of a scenario where he's alive and well...and not even one where he left willingly and then something horrible happened. He would have been found, by now. Altho I'm sure there's an extremely unlikely "fluke type" scenario that could be thought up by someone(s) who knows what really happened to him. JMO and speculation.

I know that there is a black out when it comes to Grand jury investigations and subpoenas. Really, we have no way of knowing what might be going on even now in that regard.

I will say that I would expect that the OC DA would go to a Grand Jury to get an indictment before proceeding with a no body case. As for it being circumstantial, I dont know if that is true given that Det R wouldnt comment on physical evidence that was gathered from the multiple searches that have gone on.

I bet we have plenty of folks who can translate. Would you check the UK as well zwiebel? IIRC the Foxtel airing listed the country of origin as UK. Maybe you will have better luck with the UK.

I've checked again, and as far as I can see in these listings, only season 1 has been shown in England, with season 2 about to show.

But. While I was checking to see what seasons the shows were, I saw the show about Shannen Gilbert from Long Island. That's season five and that definitely aired on the English TV I get here a while back. I'm not good at searching tv listings, so if anyone else wants to have a try at searching uk tv freeview listings......here's the link I found showing only 1/2.

Nothing is making sense. I've checked this horrendously complicated guide because it lets me go back to Thursday the 7th, but I can't find any ID shows.

I've checked all the channels under satellite cable and freeview too, because we have all of those and I'm not entirely sure which one Mr Z has our tv tuned to. I'm as certain as I can be it's not showing here tonight though. I'll have to sort it out tomorrow when I can get some help.
