In the show it looked like Agnes started straightening the bed. I can't imagine a person like Bob not making his bed early, especially before 9:30 that day since he knew his SIL was coming over the work in the house.

That's what I always thought Maze. He really strikes me as a man who would have had a little routine.

Which made me think that someone may have pulled the sheets off the bed in a hurry, unmaking it. And maybe that was why Bob's daughter rushed down to 'change the linens' the next morning?

Bob was not legally blind. I believe you are confusing him with Fontelle who cannot drive (suffers from macular degeneration, from all reports I've read).

Legally blind without his glasses, which were left in the house. All he had was a wallet and a checkbook and an as yet undetermined outfit. Or at least, an evolving description of his clothing.

No matter,-how incredible is it that Bob's case is getting all of the attention??

Perhaps she was with her husband at the time the alibi was confirmed. Oh, and you've been around long enough to know we don't sleuth minors.


On another note, Jeff made two trips to the hardware store. Two trips yet only one receipt from the hardware store given to LE. Why only one receipt?

BBM: Happens to me all the time. Either I go to get something and they don't have that item, then I get home and think "This will work just as well." and I go back, or I go to get something, get home, then think "Dang, I also need this." and head back, but the store is out of that item. That alone is not odd, to me.

Some very despicable behavior is described in the last 2 posts about the fake facebook page and the swinger designation, very despicable indeed.

I find it very puzzling, actually. At least it was nice to see that two of his children participated in the episode. I am quite saddened that there was apparently no mention of the national media at Rim Of The World where JuM and JeM spend quite a bit of time.

LE never mentioned her husband or son as being persons of interests.
Det Radomski was clear when he stated the inner circle and family will protect each other...... Det. Loomis was clear in stating the hair dresser's alibi was confirmed.

Are you suggesting, LE is lying?

BBM. That was actually Paula, Bob's eldest daughter. Roberta is the middle daughter with the little bit of grey in her hair.

Thanks. I got confused. I had it in my head the heavy set one was Roberta, but you are right, that was Paula. I attributed everything said by Roberta to Paula and everything said by Paula to Roberta. Please everyone accept my apologizes on this. I was trying to keep up with what was said, thought I had the names right. Sowwy. :blushing:

Bob was 81. Legally blind, according to media reports. Couldn't walk far. Didn't take his car.

Somebody slipped up there.

Why?

Sheer speculation here, but I have a very strong feeling that JeM was asked to come to the police station for an interview MUCH earlier than the 31st. He simply stalled or delayed the inevitable. Nerves, maybe?

Legally blind, really? Or do you mean his driver's license specifies he must drive with glasses on?

I doubt the CA DMV would permit anyone declared legally blind to drive at all.

There appears to be some confusion. In an earlier post there was mention of Josie (the barber lady), "her husband" and "her son." I don't think anyone was talking about a son of Fontelle. Of course Fontelle in her 70s would be highly unlikely to have a minor son.

Yep, the very same picture that was cropped on the Bob Harrod is missing website upon its debut (yep, I've got the screencap, zwie).

Josie's alibi may have been confirmed, but what about her husband's, her son's, or anyone else connected to her?

You know very well, I wasn't talking about Fontelle. We were talking about the hairdresser and Loomis' comment about the HAIR DRESSERS ALIBI being verified.

You mentioned the hair dresser and her son, there was NO discussion whatsoever between you and I regarding any of Mrs. Harrod's children.

Trying to twist your post to suddenly go from the hair dressers minor son to a child of Fontelle's, well let's just say what you're trying to do is obvious. There aren't enough mirrors to hide the facts confirmed by LE.

Fontelle was in Missouri at the time Mr. Harrod disappeared. Her plane didn't land until two days later.

I think the point counterpoint between LE and Bob's daughters was interesting.

Girls: Bob doesnt drive on the hwy
LE: Bob drove on the hwy
Girls: Bob mentally slipping
LE: talked to his Dr and Bob was in fantastic health and LE goes on to state in great detail how Bob was fully capable of caring for himself and his finances.
Girls: Meeting was jovial
LE: Meeting was heated
Girls: BL had motive
LE: Why would BL kill goose laying golden eggs?

But most importantly, the motive for the crime is the fight for the money in the trusts. Well that pretty much eliminates BL and Mrs Harrod which leaves us......jmo.

Not at all. Her alibi does not mean everyone who is associated with her had their alibis confirmed.

Based on an interview cited upthread, LE has not named any POIs. Nobody has been cleared either.

LE's statement was not confined to family only. Potential suspects include more than just family (inner circle, as you say).

Housekeeper arrives at noon, JeM about 15 minutes later. JeM leaves shortly before Housekeeper. Housekeeper left at around 3pm. We have verification that the hardware receipt was from just after 3pm. So JeM stopped at the store on the way home?
