I am still waiting for my other computer to open up. La la la. I think it's decided enough is enough and signed out forever, personally. I want everyone to see the 'white thing'. Someone will know what it is, what it could be used for.

Hope so. I probably need to move on at this stage.

Here it is. The white thing.

ETA: Left hand side, by the jeep trail. Can anybody see it? Anyone know what it might be?

Zweibel, glad we're at least in this together and that you were able to bring in the picture for everyone else! What is that thing?

Base for something that's either gone or unfinished?

10 foot diameter sheep pen?

Yurt wall, bring your own yak felt cover?

Traffic signal for extraterrestrials?

:banghead:

That was so, so funny. And strangely enough, not a single one of those things had occured to me!

Bringing this thread back to page 1.

Justice for Bob and Fontelle.

I'm still lurking. I was being quiet hoping someone would come up with an idea about the 'white thing'. (my post above) No luck so far.
Maybe an old water storage thing in case of fires?

You found it! You've seen it too! That's such a relief; a mystery shared is.....well, still a mystery, in this case.

Okay I had a go. I reckon about 9ft diameter. Here are two images. First is from google maps and the second is my computer's zoom version with no scale attached.

The color is very close to the jeep trail color ie bare dirt. Ignoring the shadow idea for a sec, the circle is not precise. Something been and gone? I say that because I had a teepee here on clay soil and the circle remained for years after it had long gone. Energy seems to take ages to dissipate, without scientific explanation. It'd even slip in a crop circle notion, however there's no crops!

ps: Oops apologies for duplication. I've doubled up on you... is that a pun Z?

No idea if it's a pun - I've become completely distracted by the fact some of our members seem to have been living in teepees and yaks.

Maybe it could be the remnants of a very basic crop circle. Maybe we should ask kimster about this one; spaceship experience!

Thank you very much for the zoom-in zoom though, Mountain Misst.

Whatever it is, it appears to be casting a shadow on the zoomed in photo Mountain Misst linked above.

Exactly what I spotted! So it's got to have some kind of wall around it, right?

So sorry, anyone viewing the bobharrodmissing.com site recently may have experienced some confusion. Articles being moved, pics coming and going, etc.

That was me and Mr Z having a row about Bob's site, live, online. If it has been screen grabbed by anyone, I'll die.

Anyway, it's not the Boston Globe but WS has made all the headlines this week. And Justiceforever just really, really rocks for the help given. Kind truckers are the coolest.

Whoops. Did Bob Meet Fontelle in Springfield or Kansas City? Help someone, before Mr Z goes to sleep.

Oh, gosh. That article has Fontelle saying "Is this the Bob Harrod that was raised in McFall, Missouri?'

Where did I get the idea of Springfield from? I am certain I have heard that mentioned beore and it's not just a place I made up in my head.

Mrs Harrod definitely says Bob was brought up in McFall.

Okay.

So now I just have to explain to Mr Z why I asked him to help me put that info about Springfield on the website. For no reason I can find. After we just had a row. And I want him to change it, and he's watching the football now. Ummmmm. Wish me luck.
