This once again raises the question of whether or not that phone call really exists. I mean the one where daughter said she called and spoke with her father that morning he disappeared. The same phone call where she heard her BIL say he was going to the hardware store and Bob "responded in a favorable way." Yeah, THAT phone call. hmmmm

Of course, the comment by Det. Loomis could be in error, but who knows at this point?

Sure looking forward to some answers soon.

I wonder if DTH doesn't necessarily mean at Bob's. Perhaps JeM spent a few days at his sons?

I haven't had a chance to listen to the video with sound yet, but will do that when I get a chance.

3 more hours to go! :great:

I'll be watching with family, including my step dad who is retired LE.
I always love to hear his perspective as a former Chief of Police.

I'm so excited!!! 1 hour 45 minutes to go. We are almost there. I hope this show clarifies some things. I am particularly interested in if the narrator talks about the CL being there at noon.

Bob Harrod disappeared in 2009. His last known whereabouts may hold the clues about what happened to him.

Follow the investigation on a new episode of Disappeared at 8E/P tonight.

Bumping this! There is a LOVELY new photo (new to me) of Bob and Fontelle at the link. They look so, so happy.

Thank you, Angelo.

I'm interested in knowing if the daughters recorded interview for the show matches their sworn statements in court.

That and what repairs were done, and why.

Thank god the housekeeper changed her cleaning day that week and was at Mr. Harrod's house on the day he DISAPPEARED!!!!!

8:00 PM ET on Discovery ID

I've often wondered about errors, because there are a lot of contradictions in LE statements, imo. Here's just a couple that I see as being at odds with each other.

'We thought well, perhaps he'd got cold feet. But when Fontelle got here and there was no Bob to meet her, we knew that something had happened to him.'
http://www.ocregister.com/news/harrod-60921-ocprint-bob-police.html

"We've treated this as a homicide investigation," said Placentia Police Chief Jim Anderson.
http://www2.ocregister.com/articles...RecommendedOnly=1&oncommentsPage=2#slComments

"But Jem's story checks out, and neither he nor any of the daughters are suspects in the disappearance," Loomis said.

"Nobody has been cleared."
Detective Radomski (according to other posters here).

'Loomis confirmed that police were using a lie-detector test.'
http://www.ocregister.com/news/harrod-60921-ocprint-bob-police.html

I think a strong clue to a possible explanation came from Chief Anderson himself though:

"I don't want to show my hand to you."

While there may not have been much activity on Bob's missing person case from his children and in-laws, his estate is a different story.

It's been a positive hive of activity.

Maybe someone else could chip in with this? Maybe starting with those hundreds of thousands of dollars Bob loaned to his grandson, AH, and what ever happened to that money?

Also, daughters' statements to media that their father, Bob, 'meant the world' to them, and that they were happy he met and married Fontelle, and welcomed her......anyone want to chip in with an opinion on this?

The only other thing I have to add at the moment; can someone else find an example of a reward like Bob's ($50,000, funded from Bob's own money), where 'Family members are excluded from claiming this reward'?

I can't understand, if you want to find a missing person, why you would exclude anyone from claiming the reward if they have information.

I can think of only one reason. That family member might have info that will incriminate someone else in the family. (and I'm thinking about RB's wandering hubby here....did he ever go back there?)

Melissa (hmm making myself clearer..I think that hubby might have some info that they want kept under wraps.)

Getting ready to watch in Central OH! It is on Time Warner channel 139 or 1139 for HD. I've got my Nook charging so I can follow along here and I'll probably ask MikkisDad to watch with me to see what he thinks!

So glad Bob's story is getting out there!
