Bob's daughter JuM posted a number of times today on her community forum (ROTW), but no mention that her father's story is being aired on Disappeared tonight.

Gee, I wonder why she wouldn't be getting the word out?

Reply to cloudajo re daughter JuM not getting the word out about the publicity for Bob's case:

That's all right. I know they already know.
It's up to JuM if she doesn't care to publicise her father's case. But Bob is a missing person. Until he's found, he is the responsibility of every human being. Other people will step forward if she won't. I have faith in humanity, on the whole.

Daughters are saying they were happy for him, excited that he was happy and they wouldn't have to worry about him since their mother passed.

  • #588
Then they said they wanted them to take their time and not go so fast with getting married.

Bob & Fontelle's reunion was so wonderful.

Julie tells Fontelle that Bob is missing.

Roberta calls police to ask for a welfare check. Make sure he's in there and just not answering the phone.

Loomis: Nothing that raised any alarms at that point.

Fontelle calls police and makes a missing person's report.

A formal investigation into Bob's whereabout is launched.

Talking to the neighbors. Bob was a recluse. Bob took a walk every day. No neighbors had day to day contact with him.

Paula: She had to help him with things, he was forgetful.

Roberta: Had a fear of driving freeways

Loomis: Not activity on his accounts, his car was in the driveway.

Police thought that Bob had gone to an address found on a piece of paper in Bob's Camry's glove box.

Bob drove to Balboa Island to see those friends a few weeks before, even though daughters said he didn't drive freeways.

His doctor said he was one of the healthiest 81year olds he knew.

I noticed specifically that Loomis said 'contrary to what family said ' then they spoke with doctor.

Fontelle flies back to California and everyone agrees that Bob wouldn't have missed it.

Shaving kit, tooth brush were right where they had been. Looked like nothing happened in the house.

Agnes arrived around noon!

Jeff arrived in the morning of the day Bob disappeared to do household repairs.

Jeff left 3 times, once to convenience store, twice to home improvement store.

Agnes the CL arrived around noon. She arranged to come on Monday. No one answered, she looked for key none was there so she waited. Bob was always there or left a key in box.

15 minutes later, Jeff drove up to house. Jeff asked if he was suppose to be there that day.

She began to feel something was very wrong. Afraid to go upstairs. Didn't want to find anything, so she asked Jeff to go up. Jeff went up to see if Bob was there. He spent a couple of minutes there, so she thought Jeff found something so she called up and asked if he was there and Jeff said no and came back down.

She saw that Bob's bed was unmade, and it was out of character for him, never happened before.

Agnes finished up and left as did Jeff, she was there for 3 hours. Kept wondering where Bob was at.

NOON!

So son-in-laws 3pm receipt from Home Depot is no alibi at all.

Jeff said he wasn't at the house when Bob left, produces two receipts to prove he was gone.

House was searched. Can't talk about what was found, what wasn't found.

Jeff's vehicle was searched, nothing crime lab was able to find that Bob met with foul play or was injured or killed in that vehicle.

Jeff said he saw a SUV drive slowly down the street.

Josie the barber. She cut both Bob and Georgia's hair.

Paula: She became more involved in his lif after their mother died.

Roberta: At memorial service he acted like he was more at a party then a memorial service, hanging out with Josie.

Paula: she was taking financial advantage of her father, she saw it in his accounts.

Dad didn't loan money usually outside the family. Loans to family were documented and a business arrangement.

Dad loaned $15,000 to Josie. They called elder abuse people. They found he was being abused but was of sound mind to not pursue it.
