I'm not going to start counting, but my first thought about needing such large sums is for property.

AH's Mom said he moved to a 'much better' house after Windflower. I wonder if he used the loans to purchase his new home outright? Long before he walked away from Windflower?

That way, all the debts would have been attached to the old house, with the new one completely clear of debts maybe?

No idea when AH purchased his new house though, or even if he did. He could be renting now, for all I know. I don't think that would be something his Mom would mention online.

Almost caught up reading the threads. My housework has gone to heck as I have been tied to reading this case. ;)
I have NOT read the court documents for reasons I will explain later. (or other links), I have picked up the gist of them thro the thread for the most part.

Some things on my mind:

1) Rentals are usually due on the first of the month, mortgages vary according to when the property was closed on.

Setting all else aside, I understand why AH did not make that next payment after Bob disappeared, he would have made it to Bob and Bob disappeared. The conservatorship was not yet set up to handle those affairs.

Questions I have:
Is there any history of domestic abuse between JuM & JeM? or with the other sisters in their marriages or relationships?

Was this a premeditated, organized disappearance? My gut instinct says no.

Try this on for a minute......SIL goes to help with repairs, attempts a mano y mano approach with Bob to manipulate and influence him. "Those women are a handful!"...a "we men" can straighten this out" Bob is not receptive to this and has yelled at SIL before (according to daughters) but I can see him taking a firm line in the sand and rejecting this line of conversation. The SIL becomes frustrated, feels insulted and very angry. He wants to shut Bob up...especially if it is heated.
Men typically strangle women but not men.
A man who wants to shut another man up typically punches the other in the mouth/face in the heat of anger. Bob falls.
SIL panics...all has gone awry, he needs to cover this up. He is disorganized and irrational. He is afraid of the repercussions...financial and personal..being discovered to have done this. What can he do? Get rid of the evidence! asap. To keep his secret he must remove and dump Bob.

Bob may not be mortally wounded. IF he has just filled a scrip for a family member or was carrying his own, he could knock him out by giving him a cup of coffee apologizing profusely.....or just skip this twist.

If Bob is unconscious, he can remove him without further ado.

I am still turning over different scenarios and theories. MOO

Did JuM post on the www profusely before her father's disappearance???
If so, I would surely like to go back as much as a year and read those in contrast and comparison to postings made since the disappearance.

Like you wouldnt believe, IIRC. I doubt she has avoided the subject of her parents as much, however. ;)

Not a peep on her home board of the national media that raised the profile of her father's disappearance. Just a snide comment about pawn tickets-I suspect it was directed at RB because she was the one who hauled all of the memorabilia items out of the house.

I watched it. I was trying to be so good and not watch until Mr Z could buy a copy in the US and then it popped up here and my finger just clicked. I couldn't help it.

I saw Bob's episode.

Just watched it too.. :)

Daughters do not come across in a very good light.

  • #1,307
I thought they came across really well, compared to their online presence, I really do. They didn't call anyone white trailer trash, didn't say anyone stank.......

  • #1,308
Most of all, they didn't say anything nasty about Bob.

I could believe those people on that tv show would hold a public event to mark their father's missing anniversary this year. Even remove the family exclusion clause from the reward. We'll see.

I hope they do. I want Bob to come home even more now, after seeing those tiny bits of original footage of him before he disappeared. That news video isn't around now. I've never seen it.

No they didn't verbally attack anybody, but there comments about going to the attorney within weeks of there father missing regarding the trust paints a picture..

I find it hard to believe that they didn't know how much money their parents had until after their mother died? Wasn't he loaning money to them back then?

OT, but I do not see any upcoming new episodes of "Disappeared" when I do a search. I thought they had just started a new season.

Google Disappeared season and episode guide there is lots of lists but its weird some say its the 05 season and some say its 06 but it does show the names of the next ones coming up in fact i believe that the next one is called birds of prey then at the cross roads...but like i said the lists are all messed up with what season it is and episode ..

Yes. And eldest daughter Paula was helping with his paperwork, grandson Andrew had access to a least one email between Bob and his accountant, and youngest daughter Julie knew where everything in the house was, from Bob's missing docs to the safe keys and bags of gold coins.

Yes, I can't make head or tail of their season numbers. And in Europe they seem to be different again. ???

Thanks for the updates. I saw your earlier post and managed to resist. knt got me with that direct link though.......

Talking of Europe......Agnes the housekeeper. Russian? Ukrainian? Definitely Eastern Europe I'd say.

Good. Very, very, very good news for Bob. She'll look after him. She won't budge.

I don't think the clause will be removed from the poster. I have read on another forum a post by the daughter stating that the exclusion of the family became necessary to ensure Dad's new family members by marriage be excluded, because of suspicious activities? From claiming the reward.

  • #1,316
Suspicious activities. As in searching for him. And refusing to leave the house and return to MO and try and conduct a search from there. Umph!

Son-in-law's activities the day Bob disappeared are much more suspicious, but daughter doesn't feel it's necessary to even ask him about that day.

  • #1,317
I wonder if RB might be more afraid her ex/estranged husband might try and claim the reward. I think he was around about that time, and might have some ideas....

  • #1,318
I don't know if I am allowed the link the page but can be found at CCFTM. There are some comments made about the Disappeared episode from the daughter.

  • #1,319
No. Not allowed.

Note the post on there where someone's been allowed to reveal the private work email of someone who supports Bob. Be careful.

BTW not to sure just who did it but i will say this what a rotten familly he has/had .

What I'd say is Bob had good taste in brides. Nobody seemed to have a bad word to say about Georgia, his first wife, and she did sound like a lovely lady who loved Bob and was married to him for nearly 60 years. And the grief he went through tells me he loved her very much too.

Fontelle, the present Mrs Harrod; Well. Look at her. Sat in that house, knowing someone probably took Bob from that house and killed him. That's devotion. I wouldn't stay there. I wouldn't leave CA, but I wouldn't stay alone where that person might know where I was. She is very brave.

As for the daughters......I don't know. They come across as the cold-hearted, money grubbing person they tried to present Bob as, imo.
