Thank you, yes that's the one! No time though, which is a bit disappointing.

I think it was Angelo who looked up exact temps for the day -it's in the timeline/media thread. I can't recall exact figures, but it was hot and sunny. Bob would have worn one of his white hats if he went out. And I've looked up the weather from before Bob vanished. There had been a really long dry spell and there were some very bad fires that year.

ETA: After Bob disappeared. :(

Well Fontelle was calling him on some phone, eh? And she initially made a first call to him, so it must have been the landline. I was just curious if the 'last" call was on the cell & if so, was it ever determined to have actually been IN the home when used then.
hmm, would he take the cell on a walk?
I assume it wasn't raining?

(hey O!)

(that's a special welcome to our SAR 'groupie' sreshowtime!)

Thank you for coming on down to take a look, we've got some really, really busy SAR folks right about now and need all the help we can get.

You've got some great thoughts already, and I want to keep them coming- so let's go back to the beginning.

#1: It is extremely unlikely Mr. Harrod left his residence on foot. His vehicle was at the residence when the housekeeper arrived.

Q: Is it possible Mr. Harrod's vehicle was moved between the evening before he disappeared, and the time he was reported missing?
A: Yes

#2:
The timeline between LSA as reported by JeM, and the filing of a missing report leaves hours in question as to how far Mr. Harrod may have traveled or been transported. But other evidence provided during the initial investigation cuts the timeline to roughly 1.5 hrs round trip to and from Mr. Harrod's residence, if in fact he was removed from his residence unwillingly; and if in fact remover and/or mode of delivery returned to Mr. Harrod's residence during that timeline.

Q: How many times was Mr. Harrod's residence and vehicle accessed between the evening before his disappearance, and the time he was reported missing?
A: Uncertain

I would very much like that included in the timeline, so that we can look at overlays of possible ROT. kwim?

Hello to all of the new people!!! :loveyou:

A fair amount of these links are defunct.

I still have questions in my head on the cleaning woman's arrival and departure timeblock. Between 12 and 1, seems like too short of a time period with Paula having called at 11:45. If she called at that time, what time did they disconnect the call? They spoke about something, therefore, minutes on the clock that would shorten up the waiting time for Agnes. (Of course, was it Bob that she actually spoke to, or did Jeff answer, and she spoke with him.)

For SAR purposes, I've been looking at a narrow timeline of 90 minutes. 45 mins. away from Carnation when I look at the map.

Off-topic: Does anyone know Janine Driver? I want her to look at a person in the Disappeared video. I think she'll "hit" on the same thing I did. I'll check with Katie in the Arias thread. But if any of you have an "in", I'd love if you could give her a head's up that I'm coming :)

While Mr Harrod did not appear to be the kind of person to boast about his assets let alone reveal them, I think it's fair to say that what Fontelle observed was a far sight better in terms of lifestyle that what she was accustomed to. This may mean nothing, but I don't think it bears ignoring either. How that affected her is a different subject, and I am not suggesting she was impressed, dismissed it, or anything otherwise.

~jmo~

There are only rumors about Mrs. Harrod's previous life style from Bob's daughters. Another fine example of the daughters desperate attempts to push away anyone from seeking answers into Bob's disappearance.

Come to think of it, why didn't Paula reveal that Bob asked her about finding Fontelle several months prior to the call Bob recieved from Fontelle?

Why did Paula and the other daughters make up stories about Fontelle feeding or brainwashing Bob into having memories of their relationship that were not his own memories?

I can't get past so much information that was purposely withheld when it could have cleared up the confusion from the beginning..... It makes no sense for family members of a missing person to purposely withhold so much information if they were not involved.

Non involved persons don't make up the stories they did, and send people on wild goose chases like they did. They just don't.

ETA: According to LE via MSM Fontelle comes from a solid middle class family. According to Roberta in the disappeared show, nothing about her fathers life style was indicative of his wealth. That is one (of very few) area that both LE and Bob's daughters agree upon and it's one of many things that rules out the far sight better theory for me.

Is this the Janine Driver you mean?

I have never heard of her. No offense meant to Ms Driver whatsoever, but her website is a little cheesy. :)

How did JeM see this mysterious black vehicle cruising around and pull up the wrong way, or whatever that tale is....if he was supposed to be 'working'?
And speaking of that, I can't seem to find a back story on that? Why would Mr. H have him there 'working'? I thought the family supposed to be keeping their distance. When did this handyman mess begin?? Boom, conveniently on monday or prior? Previously agreed upon?

According to PIO Corinne Loomis on the Disappeared episode, Mr Harrod gave JeM a honey do list so that the house would be prepared for Fontelle's final return.

Mr Harrod was a list maker-I am sure the list must have been readily accessible at some point, right? Why do I think that if there had been a written list, it would have surfaced by now? It could only confirm that JeM was appropriately in the house working diligently.

We know he did not complete whatever work he was doing-he left a note for Mr Harrod indicating that he would come back to complete everything.

Funny, though, he never went back, did he? Why not?

Sorry-then you asked about the phantom Black SUV. I would love to know when he saw it and for how long it was slowly driving on the wrong side of the street. It had to be in the AM before CL arrived, right? Bob was already gone by the time she showed up. At least according to one of the timelines.

Maybe you can help us sort out the timelines too sre:
-Bob disappeared at 10AM according to JuM. Remarkably close to his last verified call and when JeM was in the house. Foul Play was suspected she said, IIRC.

-Bob disappeared around Noon, within minutes of JeM leaving the house and CL arriving.

-Bob disappeared around 12 or 1 according to JuM which puts CL and JeM together in the house when Bob disappeared.

-Bob disappeared around 3PM which puts CL in the house and JeM at Home Depot.

I was wondering about the "handyman" thing too...was there ever any indication that Bob used his SIL as his handyman before that Monday?, that is, an indication that didn't originate with daughters and SIL? :waitasec:

I think Bob might have done, though I have no definite knowledge. The reason I say that is because for years, JuM and JeM lived just a couple of doors down from Bob and his first wife, Georgia. I think JeM might well have been called upon and helped out, at least while Georgia was alive. When they moved up the hill and Bob became a widower, and the rift developed, I doubt any repairs were carried out then.

The housekeeper also says Bob told her on the phone that JeM would be coming, so I am guessing he did have things he wanted done for Fontelle's return. For what it's worth, the memorabilia list also says JeM's tool box was at Bob's house.

I don't like the way it was all left so close to Fontelle's return though, and I would love to know what the plumbing repairs were, because they are not the kind of jobs you can leave unfinished.

And there is one more thing about that blasted list that really preyed on my mind. JuM listed the pic of Bob's little dog Sassy. You can see it on a video and photo.

That belonged in Bob's house and should never have left it. Little Sassy should be still hanging on the wall there, waiting for her dad to come home. That's what dogs do. Fontelle has a dog; she would have taken good care of the picture.

JuM was happy to show her sentiment, but she wasn't there when Sassy had to be taken to the vet, and brought back and buried. CAExile did that. Sassy was brought home, and her painting should have stayed home with her.

Waiting for the day when Bob is brought home too.

Thank you, I had forgotten about the housekeeper's conversation with Bob.

I wish we knew the time of her phone call to Bob. Because Bob says 'Jeff will be coming'.

So it really could have been that 10am call. I wouldn't be surprised if LE saw the housekeeper as very credible. I do too. I think viewers of Long Lost Love did as well.

  • #1,059
Well, she was the only person involved that day or close to Bob that had NOTHING to gain by his death---only something to lose- her employment.

Didn't PB say her dad was getting a lot of calls that morning? I assume then, that he probably missed several calls that morning after he 'went missing'.

I'd think LE would have records of whomever was trying to call Bob and didn't get an answer. I'm sure it has helped with their timeline.
