You will notice that the last request is to identify and destroy all Bob Harrod's credit card accounts.

That's early 2010, when Bob's daughters were still speculating Bob was hiding out somewhere, living off the credit cards in his missing wallet, I presume. But they wanted to cut off his means of survival, anyhow.

Great memory. The list is compiled 'from memory only'.

But when it comes to remembering what time her husband told her Bob disappeared, it's;

'Maybe one? Noon?'

All these 'things, possessions' were removed from Bob's home while Mrs Harrod, his elderly wife - the woman he had chosen 60 years before and tried to track down once his first wife died - was living in their home.

They stripped the house around her, to try and force her to run back to Missouri.

Mrs Fontelle Harrod is from Missouri though. They don't run easily.

Bob's youngest daughter, married to the last known person to have seen Bob Harrod alive, July 28th, 2009;

'I will be here to welcome his new wife...'

I'm not sure why you'd be smiling like that, the day after your 81-year-old dad went missing. Maybe I'm just too sensitive.

This case is so dang sad. :tears:

Where is Bob?

"Bed only - mattress belongs to dad". How nasty are these people!?

  • #1,032
Well, it looks like selective memory to me. Especially with such detail as to where in the house those items were located.

Reading that list again made me just as angry as it did the first time. How can they live with themselves? The word "vultures" comes to mind. Poor Bob.

Here is the rest of the list of things demanded by daughter Julie Michaels from Bob's house, On April 8th, 2010. More than four years before he was declared dead. Julie is married to Jeff Michaels. The last known person to have seen Bob alive. Time unknown.

Item #6 really stands out to me. I would be willing to bet that Bob never pawned anything in his life. He was prudent and cautious with his money. That makes me wonder who actually pawned the jewelry. I doubt dear Bob knew anything about it. The motive for this crime may have as much to do with preventing Bob's financial advisors from having a look at his books, and discovering malfeasance, as it does preserving what was left of his estate. From their own statements we know that JuM had access to his records and AH had some of his computers at Bob's house.

I think this is their way of insulting Fontelle-suggesting that she might be or have been the one to pawn their mother's jewelry. They aren't necessarily saying that their parents have pawned anything; in fact, before all of this legal gibberish, one or more than one of these vultures may have taken and pawned some of their parents' jewelry after Bob 'disappeared'

Makes me curious if police found or checked area pawn shops for Bob's wedding ring to Fontelle. Was it on him when he disappeared? More questions.

Agree. The same day this interview was done, JuM also posted on her community forum that they suspected "foul play".

"I need to request positive thoughts and prayers. My father has been missing approx. 28 hours ago. We suspect foul play, but want to remain as positive; his new wife will be arriving with her belongings tomorrow. My father's name is Robert Harrod in Placentia; his new wife Fontelle Heeter-Harrod is just besides herself, please pray for his safe return."

Does anyone know if Fontelle filed a caveat in Probate Court against Bob's will?

Pawn tickets often go along with money troubles, and geographically close faily member ARH was known to have $$$ troubles. Hhhhhmmmm....

I'm having to look up what caveat means in legal terms!
