I don't know if anyone read, but the suspected OC serial killers - LE have decided they won't search landfills for the further victims they are sure are out there. The chances of finding them are just too small, compared to the cost and disruption. If they are there, they've been there less than a year.

To my mind, that means there will never be a landfill search for Bob, and if he is in one, he won't be found in any of our lifetimes. I just don't feel he is though. I'm sure he's in the wilderness somewhere. Waiting to come home.

Sadly, Zwie, my gut still tells me he was taken to the Olinda landfill. It would have only taken 45 minutes, round trip, from Bob's house and no one oversees what sort of stuff you are tossing out of your truck. In fact the local Home Depot even lets you rent one of their trucks for an hour or two. SIL could pick up hardware items and head to Bob's with the truck, put whatever he wants to discard in the back, and head to the landfill. jmoo

Azusa Canyon would make sense as for stomping grounds.
Chantry Flats is right here, however a body dump off the road probably would have been discovered by now since fires and cars over the side rescues. Twin Poles was the main hang out point in SIL's high school days.
Baldy? Too crowded and compact.
Back road to Mt. Baldy- through Glendora Mntn. Rd? Popular in SIL's time, closed for years from rockslides and just lately been reopened. Closed when Bob went !POOF!

Twin Poles is a landmark up Chantry. It is just two telephone poles close together that you can see from the base of the mountain. There is a big turn out there for parking and it used to be THE spot to hang out, get high, drink, mingle while looking out over the valley.
Not sure about that anymore, at least my nephew doesn't talk about it...

I have asked these questions before but no one has responded... How is Fontelle doing and is she still living in Bob's house? Just wondering as five years have passed and she is getting up there in age?

Yes, as far as I know, Fontelle is still living in the marital home, although 'the only reason (she) has stayed here is to find him'. That's what she said in her last media interview. I am sure that the Carnation drive home would have been rented out or sold, had Mrs Harrod left.

In her last media interview, she appeared grief stricken but still bearing up. On the disappeared FB, someone said she 'is doing as well as can be expected'.

My own feeling - hope? is that Fontelle has loving, supportive family around her as often as possible, and that neighbors in Placentia are also supportive and kind. Mrs Harrod was reported to have some health problems - with her sight, for example - but she appears to have escaped those debilitating inherited conditions such as osteoporosis, that some are unlucky enough to be affected by.

I only know what's been reported though. We can't sleuth victims at WS.

No way am I stating Mrs Harrod's age, either. I foolishly did that with my own mom once, and still remember the consequences! I've no idea if Mrs Harrod feels the same, but just in case......

Me: He asked your age Mom, he's an official-

Mom: It's none of his business.

Me: But if we don't-

Mom: I don't know why on earth you'd answer such a rude question. I thought I'd brought you up to be a polite person. And he's no better than he ought to be either. Why didn't you tell him I was 21?

I am fairly new on ws and this is one TOS that I don't understand. Are you saying it is ok to sleuth pressors on a victim? Because you are stating you only know what has been reported. I have noticed on other forums, that people are sleuthing victims, so I am confused.

I only wondered about Fontelle because I felt so bad for her. The stress of having to deal with all the conflict with Bob's offspring coupled with his disappearance must have been horrific for her. My query was all in good faith and out of concern. Thanks for your response.

Hi Tarika-I think it is natural to be concerned about the victims and in this case Fontelle Harrod, so I am with you in your concern. The information we have here is what we have gleaned from her media blitzs and court filings. If any of us have more specific information regarding her whereabouts and health, I haven't seen it here.

I think there is a very high probability that there was. GS house was right around the corner. It was a convenient location, I would think, to reflect on what they were told and to cool down from the heated non heated conversation. When they found out, imo, that they were entitled to nothing while Bob was alive with the exception of Georgia's specific bequests. And they perhaps found out that their father would be adding his wife to his estate planning.

Speculation on my part.

I'd really like to know if there was another meeting immediately after that family one, that Bob didn't attend. For further, private discussion.
