Still working on a communication for some of the shows we listed...![]()
Thanks! I was just thinking about it.
Still working on a communication for some of the shows we listed...![]()
If I were Bob -- let's say, off at some cottage at Tahoe, drinking a glass of something nice, and looking at information on my disappearance online, I wonder how I'd react to the way some people have treated my wife. Do they have no respect for my choices or preferences? Am I not allowed to fall in love again, and can my lover not be respected as the person I have chosen as my wife? And what does it mean if, say, my own blood were to deny my having chosen a wife, at this point in my life?
Well, I do hope Bob is alive, but I don't think he is. And I sort of wonder if it's easier for people to reject his wife as a real part of his life, or insult her, or imply that she's not really his wife, if they're sure he's not ever going to hear about it or respond to it.

I also wonder if SIL hadn't met the cleaning lady if he would have even admitted being at Bobs home Monday. I think stopping at the hardware store on the way back from a possible temporary place to leave Bob was a just in case thing..... to have a receipt just in case he was questioned about his whereabouts.
9 out of 10 times the last person to see someone alive is the responsible party for their demise and disappearance.
I wonder if SIL had any help getting Bobs body out of the house. IF he did, grandson would be the most likely person to assist living so close.

Another thought. I wonder what repairs were done and why no one has mentioned such. The cleaning lady - being that she was in that home on a regular basis would know what needed repairs and what did not. I wonder what she had to say about the repairs done. Where they all necessary?
Where did SIL dispose of materials he took out of the house that day?
Interesting that no one has ever stated what repairs needed to be done outside of the carpet cleaning.... and things that could have easily covered up evidence of a crime.

I have always believed that the SIL had no idea the housekeeper was coming that day. I wonder what his reaction was to finding her waiting at the house.
I believe Mr. Harrod was taken out of the house at around noon, which is the earlier time first given by family members for the hardware store trip. Later, on his way back to check the house, the SIL stopped at Home Depot.
I suspect this article has been linked before, but I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this bit:
"A family member told the media that Bob was showing early signs of dementia. Detectives who interviewed his doctor say Bob was of sound mind, Loomis said."

Edit: Oops, just noticed that Cubby beat me to it!
So, considering the dementia argument is garbage, and could be construed as hurtful, why would his daughter suggest it?

truck bed and cover similiar to the style bed for truck SIL owns. (this is NOT a picture of SIL's truck)
This is JMO but my theory is SIL backed his truck up to the garage and removed Bobs remains in the back of that truck. Bobs car was in the drive closest to the front door - I believe with enough room to open the garage door (it is not a rolling garage door, but swings out and up). All SIL had to do was back that truck up- even partially into the garage and put Bob into that truck bed dead or barely alive. Bobs car would have blocked the view from that side of the home. It looks like the other side is blocked from the neighbors view by landscaping.... Pop open the bed cover and slide Bob in, and close up the Bed.
Who knows how long Bob was in the truck bed.... I wonder when LE took SIL's car for forensic processing. How many days later leaving SIL plenty of time to thoroughly clean the truck and truck bed. The cold feet theory bought them more time.
Of course JMO.

I agree. I too believe the earlier time given by the family is VERY important in the timeline. Exactly how I am unsure... but I'd guess the plan was to keep the times straight and in doing so, if you notice the times given for Sunday are AWFULLY close to the same times given for Monday. IMO, give the same times for Sunday AND Monday so the chances are lessened for making mistakes..... problem occured when SIL's time stamped receipt differed from the plan.
I'm sure LE verified whether repairs were done or not. Cleaning lady could verify what had changed in the home from the last time she had cleaned. She was there enough to know what needed repair and what did not..... ETA: I'm not suggesting she come online and share as that may impair the investigation.... I'm just thinking outloud.

Very interesting ideas Cubby - I wonder (Maybe CA Exile knows???) -- Did SIL's truck have a bedliner - the removeable plastic kind - not the spray on kind... and does it still???
