Got it shana.

For those of you impatient to see what we collectively have or who have a particular document you want to see, even if you are not local you can obtain documents via FOIA. You can contact OC Superior Court house with the case numbers and they will instruct you as to the process.

This is kind of O/T- but you know what I really love about FOIA? It's yet another paper trail to follow. To who requested what, when, and where. Yet another investigative tool. ;)

When I saw the headline in the other thread, my first thought was "watch out. Look what happened to Bob Harrod. Wonder if this man has $$$."

Isn't it sad that we think like that?

You're right. Sadly the first thing which came to mind for myself is the hope neither have greedy offspring looking to get their hands on trust funds sooner than they are legally entitled.

For at least one daughter, Bob's disappearance seems to have slipped her mind: (source is ROTW)

I just came back on and re-read... This is a bad time of year for me? Add to my stress? Everyone has stress, digging through linens is not stressful. I am confused. If there is something I do not know about me, please feel free to PM me.

and then:

Well? mntecho you are there, thought I would remind you.

And finally, in a burst of bizarro world:

One fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish. Black fish, blue fish, old fish, new fish. This one has a little star. This one has a little car. Say! What a lot of fish there are. Yes. Some are red. And some are blue. Some are old. And some are new. Some are sad. And some are glad. And some are very, very bad. Why are they sad and glad and bad? I do not know. Go ask your dad. Some are thin. And some are fat. The fat one has a yellow hat. From there to here, from here to there, funny things are everywhere. Here are some who like to run. They run for fun in the hot, hot sun. Oh me! Oh my! Oh me! Oh my! What a lot of funny things go by. Some have two feet and some have four. Some have six feet and some have more. Where do they come from? I can’t say. But I bet that have come a long, long way. Say! Look at his fingers! One, two, three… How many fingers do I see? One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten. He has eleven! Eleven! This is something new. I wish I had eleven, too! Bump! Bump! Bump! Did you ever ride a Wump? We have a Wump with just one hump. But we know a man called Mr. Gump. Mr. Gump has a seven hump Wump. So…if you like to go Bump! Bump! just jump on the hump of the Whump of Gump.Who am I? My name is Ned. I do not like my little bed. This is no good. This is not right. My feet stick out of bed all night. And when I pull them in, Oh dear! My head sticks out of bed up here! We like our bike. It is made for three. Our Mike sits up in back, you see. We like our Mike and this is why: Mike does all the work when the hills get high. Hello there, Ned. How do you do? Tell me, tell me what is new? How are things in your little bed? What is new? Please tell me, Ned. I do not like this bed at all. A lot of things have come to call. A cow, a dog, a cat, a mouse. Oh! What a bed! Oh! What a house! Oh, dear! Oh, dear! I can not hear. Will you please come over near? Will you please look in my ear? There must be something there, I fear. Say, look! A bird was in your ear. But he is out. So have no fear. Again your ear can hear, my dear. My hat is old. My teeth are gold. I have a bird I like to hold. My shoe is off. My foot is cold. My shoe is off. My foot is cold. I have a bird I like to hold. My hat is old. My teeth are gold. And now my story is all told. We took a look. We saw a Nook. On his head he had a hook. On his hook he had a book. On his book

Pssst, Jules-Bob disappeared three years ago this Friday. Just in case you need a little help with the date: July 27, 2009. You went DTH to "change the sheets" and give media interviews that contradicted, iirc, your husband's time line.

Maybe someone will read this and remind her.

Huh. Guess the rent thing didnt work out for the co conservators. I look forward to Gitana's take-she mentioned earlier that she might be available and in court on that day.

Wasn't the amount of spousal support agreed upon in mediation? At the same time the parties agreed to the daughters having the items on the mile long memorablia list?

If so, now the conservators go back on their word and show their greed. Greed and their futile attempts at intimidating or steering away anyone looking for answers into Mr. Harrod's disappearance. They're so transparent and don't even realize it.

It looks like a trial to determine if Mrs. Harrod should pay rent for residing in the marital home is scheduled for September 19.

3 years ago today Bob called a family meeting to discuss HIS money. I suspect part of that meeting was to formally close the door on the freeloading being done by his daughters, son in law and grandson.

Mr. Harrod disappeared less than 24 hours after this heated family meeting over his money. He disappeared during the hours which his son in law was allegedly doing handy man jobs in Mr. Harrod's home. Handy man jobs which no one in the family is willing to make the work done in the home public.

I wonder how the person responsible for Mr. Harrod's disappearance feels with that monkey on their back constantly. Wondering when and where or with whom they might be when LE slaps on those handcuffs and they hear those words, you're under arrest.

Daughter JuM is clearly awfully jumpy by her very public posts, added upthread. That monkey, it will really never go away until this case is solved.

Still praying the truth and justice come for Mr. Harrod, today, on the eve of the anniversary of his disappearance.

July 17 Letter from RB to Bob's atty

July 26 Family meeting where there were heated exchanges between Bob and his family regarding his assets.

July 27 Mr Harrod disappears, setting in motion a chain of events that ends with his estate and every last possession being wrested from his hands. Gone. Empty house and accounts re registered. Poof.

At this point in time, with what we have seen for documents, the person who benefited most from his grandfather's disappearance was AH. He walked away from some portion of a 750K debt. A staggering debt...but he is free now to live his life in a more affluent area (so says his mother) and to simply move on...much like that same parent who cant seem to recall why she should be stressed out at this time of the year.

Maybe she just isnt.

In one of JuM’s 90 posts last Sunday on her community forum, she said, “it takes nothing to get a news crew to show up these days”

Yesterday, the day before the 3 year anniversary of her father missing, she posted that JeM was in their newly renovated basement she calls the “man cave” fiddling around with something, that she did nothing with the exception of some laundry and watched a movie. And that she might be at a community ball game this evening.

She posted previously the man cave “has been my hubby's dream and it is happening.” What about her father’s dream?

1st day of the rest of my life

Dearest Fauntel:

Your call was an answer to my prayer. I have been thinking of you everyday lately & many times over the years and regretting leaving you under the conditions at the time.

[snipped]

So many times I wondered where you were, how you were, but it's so hard to locate someone and . . . if I did find you, could we get together? Or would it end in disappointment for one reason or another?

[snipped]

I always wondered how to get in touch with you because you were my first love and always will be, nothing can change that. This last year has been very difficult for me, you will never know how many times I have thought of you.

[snipped]

You have already given an old man hope for the future.

This caught me by surprise-even though I have read it many many times. Mrs Harrod, we arent going to give up on Bob...there is justice here somewhere for him. And I truly believe that Bob knows you will never give up on recovering him either. Peace to both of you and all who truly love and were touched by Bob.

"Sgt. Scott Millsap, an investigations detective, said there have been underlying issues with the family, but declined to give any more information."

"Harrod has never disappeared like this before, Loomis said."

"There have been times where he has not talked to the family, but that's a far cry from this," she said."
