Different.
Thanks. I just don't understand why that apartment complex is being so resistant with LE and family/friends trying to locate Heidi or her Range Rover. It's very odd. imo

Her car, a 2017 Range Rover should have the secure tracking feature, allowing its location to be determined when Land Rover is notified it is stolen.

Not sure if the 2017 models have automatic journey tracking, my 2019 Land Rover does, so there's a chance it was available earlier on Range Rovers (all have same base for electronics/software).

I wonder what Onni Group will say about the refusal to cooperate with LE. Looks like the Daily Mail has contacted them.

"But the owners of that apartment complex are reportedly refusing to cooperate with investigators and have denied requests to search the building's parking structure and security footage without warrant, CBS 2 reported.

Onni Group, a real estate development company, is the owner of the building, the Hope + Flower luxury residential complex in downtown Los Angeles.

DailyMail.com has reached out to Onni Group seeking comment."

I think LE has information, they are just keeping it quiet. There's not a chance in hades they haven't been to Hope+Flowers with a warrant. Wish we knew what they found there.

No, unfortunately. You may post a web link to Yelp but not comments. Nor can the comments be discussed here.

That said, I believe a link was posted on page 1 or 2 already.

Correction: The link is on page 8 of this thread.
Thank you

If the missing woman is linked to entities involved in major fraud - and this seems to be the case as she is an officer in a corporation under investigation for fraud - IMO there are 3 possibilities.

The first is that Heidi flees to avoid an inevitable, impending prosecution. She changes vehicles in the apartment building, and leaves with as little as possible. She leaves the dog behind. She's traveling light. Due to Covid restrictions, fleeing abroad is more complicated than ever...

The second possibility (the most likely, IMO) is that an angry investor is in a rage, and has been defrauded by Ms. Planck and her associates of a huge amount of money. The investor confronts Ms. Planck, and realizes there is no hope of recovering invested funds. The investor kills Ms. Planck...

The third possibility is that Ms. Planck is under pressure to be a witness, and testify against her associates. The other parties in Camden Capital and its associated companies fear this, and her elimination is arranged....

My opinion and speculation only.
Three is my thoughts

But her husband was in the apartment only a couple days previously which is how he was able to know where the dog was because of messages left on the phone so I think it’s possible that it’s coincidental to the federal fraud investigation

The crime they used as justification for entry was likely Destruction of Evidence.

The descriptions of her behaviour that day sound a bit 'manic'.

Maybe she was under a huge amount of stress, not eating and paranoid regarding the fraud investigation.

I do think something nefarious has happened to her though. I think someone wanted her silenced.

MOO

Thank you. I'm hopeless at untangling financial connections. Do any of these Omni Group people have ties to all these LLC's I'm reading about? Or are they different people altogether?

Not OMNI -- ONNI -- wouldn't want you running down the wrong hole!

It isn't much, but I found Heidi's Goodreads

That's exactly what I was doing! Searching OMNI instead of ONNI. Do'h. I need some coffee.

I wonder who owns that apartment building? Perhaps there is a reason they don't want LE there at all? Maybe nothing to do with Heidi personally? jmo

FAWK there could be 'protected witnesses' in the building -- including Heidi!

I don't understand where this Witness Protection Program angle came from. It makes no sense. If she was in the Witness Protection Program, LE would be notified of it when she was reported missing, they wouldn't simply keep looking for her, it makes no sense. And she would obviously notify the father of her son that she wouldn't be around if that was the case. It makes no sense.

I'm a bit pluzzed by the way her house was raided. They entered the house with guns, they had some reason to believe that someone armed could be there. There's clearly a lot of things happening behind he scenes that we don't know about.

I'm not sure where I stand regarding this case. Three scenarios make sense for me: she either had some sort of mental breakdown because she's dealing with some hard stuff (work and/or personal); she was a victim of foul play; or she's on the run because she suspected this raid was coming.

Well...have they checked border camera's? She may have crossed in to Mexico within several hours of leaving her son's game. Although, that still leaves the dog. If she was going to run I would assume she would take the little thing with her. From what I'm gathering from posts on here is that she could be involved in the fraud stuff and looking at time in prison if convicted. Was she gonna snitch for a lesser sentence so whoever was running the scheme got to her before she could? How far in to the investigation are they on the company? So many questions.

It doesn't make much sense to me that Heidi left voluntarily, either over the border or into witness protection of some kind. That implies some kind of prior planning and not the kind of thing you just abruptly do in the middle of your son's football game, leaving your dog to wander in the process.

What kind of text or call would you have to receive to abruptly flee and vanish into the ether? imo

I suspect she had a "partner" located at the Hope and Flowers complex. Met up with them and tried to leave the dog in the apartment and it got away from them. The complex is probably throwing up a brick wall due to legal paranoia that they could be found tangibly liable somehow. Security footage at the complex would answer that question and if the "partner" left and never came back or if they did come back after a period of time.

"Hey Heidi, just heard that the FBI is getting ready to raid your home".

That building is the key if that dog was actually found on-premises. She either had access to the building, or someone she was with had access. There are swipes and cameras recording how that went down. If a person walked in with that dog and it wasn't her, they should be a suspect in her disappearance.

I don't buy the voluntary disappearance story. If you planned your get away you leave the dog home.

I am at work or I’d look it up but my 2017 LR3 has auto journey tracking. Recognize it’s a different model so may be different
