BBM Last seen at the ball park correct. Dog was spotted 3 hours later, around 4:30. How far is the ball park to the apartment complex?

Thanks for digging in!
16 miles, 30 minutes per Google maps

LE is fortunate to have a small window of time to work with here. At least they have a good idea of her timeline and the points of interest in a well populated area with a ton of CCTV. I bet they are close to making moves. JMO

Except, his school was said to be on the “1500 block of Selby Avenue in Westwood”, which when I looked on a map must be St. Paul the Apostle School?? Hmm.

Address of his school obtained from this article:Missing Mid-City mom has family, police concerned | KTLA
Ok! This is tricky... St Paul also played that day but at 5pm on a different field (CYO - Los Angeles). So... one of the two addresses must be wrong. These games are switched around all the time, of course, but... we know the dog was located 3 hours after she was seen. The only thing about the 1:30/4:30 timeline is that many sources have referenced the dog being found in the "evening"... which would make me lean towards the later time. But, finding the dog around 5pm could qualify. Hmmm...

maybe they consolidate teams if there isnt enough players?
That’s the address of the football field.
Heidi Planck, 39, was last seen on October 17, 2021, in the 7800 block of Gardendale Street in Downey, Los Angeles County, according to a statement released by the Los Angeles Police Department.

Indeed. It seems that HP disappeared in under 3 hours of leaving the ball game, and in daylight. As you pointed out, this is a well-populated area, hopefully well covered by cameras. What I always say is: typically, a woman does not voluntarily disappear without packing a bag. In particular, a devoted MOTHER does not desert her kid(s) and take a walkabout, as the Australians say. But there are exceptions, and who's to say that she did not have a mental break. It happens. The other three possibilities are, in order of likelihood (IMO), she was murdered, she is being held against her will, and she had an accident (unlikely due to the dog being found in the apt. building.) If the vehicle can be located, it may hopefully provide some clues. JMHO

But he knew she was scared! Wow! And that's a great guy? MOO
We need to know when this was said/texted...was it the week before, earlier that weekend, was it right before/after the game etc. the timing of that and if they had any further communication regarding that is key.
I think it was an "away" game.
Right but the other schools listed are not his school that is what is confusing. It was def an away game.

So he plays on a Youth Team not a school team?

The son is almost 11, he's not in middle school, is he? How many schools have 5th grade football teams?

Has anyone said for sure that she had a phone with her. At the football game?

I think the CCTV that LE now has will help them isolate what happened but it will take time to arrest and charge person/s. They will be putting person/s under surveillance, building pressure and seeing what blurts out.

No. Her ex said she appeared antsy and moved from one place to another a couple of times then approached them to say she was leaving.

FOUR levels of security? Are these very upmarket apartments that are inhabited by the rich and famous? That seems to be an awful lot of security for apartments, at least in my experience.
What is so special and top secret about these apartments for:

a) them to have that level of security
b) the management company to be so averse to cooperating with LE and handing over any CCTV etc

?

Los Angeles isn't very safe and that building is about a mile or so from Skid Row where there is a lot of drug activity.

This is common for catholic schools in the area, even at elementary level. It’s probably flag. It’s strange they would play on a Sunday. JMO

It’s definitely block by block like any major city. I’ve lived in apartment buildings like this on the west and east coast and don’t find this level of security strange or out of the ordinary. I have always had to go down to collect food orders, for example. In my experience there is usually someone at a reception desk but not a doorman or security guard (when I lived in DC we had a security guard at night). They don’t want random people going up and about to floors, getting lost, dropping stuff off to the wrong floors, etc. it’s a liability.

i know, i meant that he attends st. paul on selby street but st. paul was not listed paying on 10/17 and st pius x on gardendale.
sometimes if there isnt enough on two teams they consolidate them. so maybe he was playing on a team that is named from the other school.

i dont know, but i am thinking it is parish... like the school and team is of "blank" parish, since it is CYO league.
