Lady Gaga dog walker Ryan Fischer 'had to have part of his lung removed'
''Mr Fischer described how he had been making a "remarkably fast" recovery when his lung collapsed and he had to have surgery.

He is now out of hospital and at home.''
''Police have yet to identify any suspects.''

''It became quite clear that my lung was not healing," he went on to say, "and the bullet wound had scarred my tissue like a burn".

When he was wheeled into surgery to have portions of his lung removed, he said he had "finally accepted my recovery had become anything but a straight line".

He ended his post by saying: "The journey is hard, it's assuredly painful, and questionable choices that no longer serve me like wearing skinny jeans are made. But I try. And somewhere within that I find the absurdity and wonder and beauty this life offers us all."

"Three people face attempted murder charges over the robbery of Lady Gaga's French bulldogs after cops found footage of the pets being dumped in an alleyway.

Sources told TMZ the three - as well as two others facing accessory to murder charges - were arrested on Thursday, after police obtained security footage of the dogs being dropped off in a Los Angeles alley after the theft on February 27.

Three of the suspects — James Jackson, 18; Jaylin White, 19; and Lafayette Whaley, 27 — have been charged with attempted murder and armed robbery, according to the LAPD.

The three are documented gang members who targeted the bulldogs because they knew of their high value. When bought from reputable breeders, the animals can cost between $3,000 and $5,000.

They were not aware that Gaga was the owner, the police said, amid claims robberies were part of a gang initiation."

I had my suspicions about the woman who returned the dogs, and seemingly so did the police.

"McBride is the one who turned the dogs over to police unharmed — presumably for the hefty money offered by Gaga for the pups safe return. According to TMZ, the LAPD believes Harold recruited McBride to drop off the dogs, and claim the $500,000 bounty. (The money was reportedly never paid per the recommendation of the police, who suspected it was a setup.)"

Glad the monies were never paid! Glad that they got the guys.

As was discussed upthread, there was hope that the $500,000 would lead them to who did it, and it did!

Hope the dog walker is continuing to improve after his set back.

Lady Gaga's Dognappers Finally Arrested, Charged For Attempted Murder [REPORT]

"As expected, the police determined that the suspects dropped off the dog to a female friend to claim the reward.

"Jennifer McBride (the woman) responded to the reward email to return the dogs. She ultimately brought the dogs to LAPD Olympic Station. Detectives were able to establish McBride had a relationship with the father of one of the suspects, Harold White," the press release added, per People.

They must have thought they hit the jackpot with the 1/2 million reward. A lot better than a couple of thousand for each dog.

These thugs, stealing particular breeds to sell to who knows who....makes me sick. I have a friend whose Yorkie was stolen. She was devastated and never got over it. Not to mention that the dogs are attached to their owners, they are like family.

I did not know that they shot him 4 times! They really intended to kill him.
He is very lucky to be alive. I'm sure the perps rap sheets will be interesting and once again we'll be wondering why they were still on the streets?

At least MSM is acknowledging this order very strange.

None of the 5 arrested are juveniles and one is described as a "known gang member." Seems the court received some information that "visual id" protection was warranted. Informants? MOO

A judge in Los Angeles banned photographers on Thursday from picturing the five suspects charged in the 'dognapping' of Lady Gaga's two French bulldogs, issuing a draconian order to shield their identity.

Lol -- following so many cases where I can pick out or tell you the street name of many accused-- and yet their legal name would mean nothing to me.

Specific to this case -- seems McBride thought nobody knew about her alleged relationship with one of the accused or would connect her to him when she attempted to claim the reward.
