I wonder why these items were found outside in the hall?

That is strange. Didn't realize there was a hall there and there is no picture of these items .. only on the diagram?

Hmmm, so she bled outside the room, but no blood was found where she sat to tie her feet, after she cut the rope? I would think she would have had to sit down to tie up her feet, thereby leaving a blood stain of some kind on the bedroom carpet.

Not sure I'm understanding this.

Me either .. more I see/hear the more I'm confused. :waitasec:

It sure does.

I don't see how a 6-year-old could go flying over that railing, even with a running start.

Seeing this photo bolsters my original theory: either planking or some other form of horseplay at that railing with a sibling.

That is what I thought as well. But be careful, because apparently saying that possibility is considered 'trashing' the victim.

This is very much another concern in my mind. LR stated there was no sexual assault, more than once. They stated there were scratches from the plants, more than once. They never even once mentioned blood on her legs.

So, why might it have been there? A cut while cutting rope? Seems like an odd spot for it, as the blood was such that MZ asked if RZ was on her period. Was it from self mutilation? This would have been a significant finding and I can't see LE not mentioning this, if they thought it was a purposeful self inflicted wound.

Any ideas anyone?

We all know as women that we can have 'break through bleeding' between our menstrual cycles - if it was in fact menstrual blood.

If it was not menstrual blood, maybe there was some post-mortem injury when her BF's brother cut her down?

(If in fact there was any blood at all?)

Like some here I do believe that Rebecca killed herself. My thought all along was that JS called and said that Max was brain dead with no chance of survival and that he wanted her gone. She had given up everything for him - her job, her home, her marriage, her independence - and just like that it vanished. I think that he probably said some terrible, vicious things to her on that message. We know that he is capable of such ugliness and certainly he would have been devastated and seething with anger about his son. And I would not be surprised if he had the passcode to her phone and that he erased the message remotely after he heard that she had killed herself.

However, I do think she killed herself. As bizarre as it is, I cannot think of a scenario where this could be a murder. Unless LE is completely lying about the forensics, it just doesn't fit.

This is all IMO and supposition on my part, of course. Naturally her family is extremely upset and does not want to accept the reality. The two weirdest things are that we STILL do not know for certain who the teenager in the home was and that door message. What does that mean?? I can't figure it out.

I am so confused.......have more questions than answers
The PR company did their job; hope they were paid well.....
Perhaps with a clearer mind......
why didn't her neck break? Oh, so much to ponder......

I gotta' get some sleep...

God Bless Maxie and Rebecca;

bbm. it was confirmed to be RZ's younger sister was it not?

I totally agree with your post. I think he did leave a cruel message, and that cruelty, combined with her own sense of guilt and sorrow, pushed her over the edge.

The painted message makes sense to me. She is speaking about the reason behind her suicide-- her relationship with JS. She says " She saved him",meaning she saved JS from loneliness, from his first marriage, and from his former life.

Then she says " can he save her.." meaning obviously he cannot, because she is ending it all and doing so because of him. It is a mean and taunting thing to say, and she is hoping he will find her body and read the message. imoo

My interpretation of this message is like this:

1.) A woman(Rebecca?) saved Mr. S(implying that his life-emotional or whatever was not doing well before he met her) so now, can Mr. S save Rebecca ? in other words this sounds like a taunting message directed at Mr. S.

2.) or it could mean that I(Rebecca) saved you, can you(Mr. S) save me ?

in fairness, either 1 or 2 is possible

Anyone have any other idea on the message ?

IMO :cow:

Rebecca wrote that on the door of her BF's home, and I think it's something personal that only he might understand. Rebecca's sister on Dr. Drew tonight said that it made no sense to her (or the fact that she painted it and it was in block letters).

From what I've read about suicide victims leaving notes on doors, they usually say something along the lines of: 'do not enter - call 911'. They tend to want to shield their loved ones from the scene.

It sure does.

I don't see how a 6-year-old could go flying over that railing, even with a running start.

Seeing this photo bolsters my original theory: either planking or some other form of horseplay at that railing with a sibling.

I wonder how tall Ocean is? I wonder if he was trying to climb on Ocean and fell? Doubtful however, as I don't think JS would have wanted to take the dog home if he thought Ocean was involved. Ky grandsons try to climb on our dogs back, although we don't let them. She is a golden doodle and quite large.

It was sad, seeing the dog bone toy in the pictures. I wonder if it made Rebecca sad when she was in the room that night?

I believe there is more to this accident than was reported. Why was the sibling hustled out of town --gone by the time the paramedics arrived? Protecting your child? You don't even know all the details yet, but you have the presence of mind to arrange travel? Unless the flight plans were already in motion for that morning.

I'm curious whose room that was. Maybe the "she" in the message refers to the occupant of that bedroom. Seems to me that RN would be staying in the Master Bedroom.

They should be able to test the blood and determine where it came from. Menstrual blood, a mouth wound (saliva and blood), etc. But no mention of blood by LE?

I thought perhaps a nick from the knife. Someone carrying the knives cut themselves before entering the room.

Did the towel have blood on it? Was RN wrapped in the towel coming from the shower and surprised by an assailant, the towel dropped. Perhaps she bit the assailant and the blood was from another party?

If the 911 call was made by the 13 year old niece of RN, can the Z family request and listen to the sealed 911 recording? TIA

BBM
There are so many questions about who was there when MS fell, the last being that it was RZ's younger sister. Earlier reports states it was JS's teenage daughter and then other reports said there were two females taken to the hospital by the police.

We will probably never know ..:maddening:

I thought LE told MZ that it was not menstrual blood? I also do not know what reason the family would have to lie about this. Especially with their lawyer right there. Guess we may one day find out.

I think the ME said she was not having her menstrual cycle.

Off for the nite ..:bedtime:

Considering in many other cases we get to hear 911 calls, aren't 911 supposed to be released to the public?

If her family keeps up with the accusations, LE might revise their theory, imo.

RN was doing CPR, 13 year old comes out of the bathroom and calls 911? LE did not identify the minor. They referred tothe person as a 13 year old. I thought the male sibling was 13 and the female sibling was 14... a 13 year old male can often sound like a female until their voice begins changing.

I wondered the same thing.
