CANADA Canada - Billionaire Couple Barry & Honey Sherman Murdered at Home, Toronto, 15 Dec 2017 #24

I was watching a Podcast a few days ago, unrelated to the Sherman murders, and I believe I know why and possibly the people responsible. I dont have the actual killers name, but after watching a podcast it all points to a group.

None of the kids did the deed.

I want to hear people's opinion regarding what group could be responsible.
Unrelated to the Shermans, but related to whom?? 😇

Unsolved, what podcast were you watching? I believe many here would be interested in looking at it.

Regarding what people think. The main options in my opinion, in no particular order, are :
Family;
Personal vendetta by somebody harmed by Barry;
Business vendetta by somebody harmed by Barry;
Big pharma competitor;
Somebody seeking revenge on Apotex;
Anti-Jewish group;
Mistaken victim, (they were supposed to kill someone else).
Nobody from the above list.

The Shawn Ryan Show. Many Intelligence Assets talking about Canada and difference subjects ;)

Maybe just link the podcast instead of this cute guessing game? Not sure what you gain from this, but it sure doesn’t advance the discussion.

You’re right and I don’t think the WM had a traceable electronic device on him, as far as we know. I was more surprised he possibly went close to Bayview (if I’m correct about the address.) Why the circuitous route? And why didn’t Detective Yim do a test call there?

Detective Yim chose a few specific dates looking at cell tracking and data. I’m wondering if people involved in the murders were in the area at those times previous to December 13th. Kind of similar to Kohberger in the Idaho murders.

In the Long Island murders, the alleged killer used a burner phone, but made the error of sometimes having his own traceable phone near it, and near his work and home, iirc.
Hi, why do you think the address has to be close to Bayview and not closer to their house? Maybe it is the house behind the Shermans’ house on that same road?

The cell phone investigation didn’t go anywhere and the police have said they’ve moved on, looking at other things. We know about it now because making this information public would not harm the investigation now. While it was actively being investigated the theory was sealed.

We know the night walker walked quite some distance that evening. If the purpose was to avoid having his vehicle caught on camera, it’s reasonable to think he was smart enough to leave his phone behind.

I don’t agree with KD and others that there is some other, secret, undetectable route to the Sherman home that was used by the “real killers” (or whatever) but if this Ethan Hunt super ninja was brilliant enough to evade all cameras along the route to the access point, it’s again reasonable to think he didn’t bring his phone.

There’s no need for any communication devices. If there were two or more killers, they could just call out to each other from inside the house. If there was only one killer, the last thing he’d want is a noisy phone calling attention to his presence.

Well that's a... bold claim. Why is an (unverified) TPS detective posting here? Should I as a reader be assigning some level of authority and credibility to their posts?
No. It was obviously a joke. Go back and read the post; it’s full of snark.

Because the redacted address # seems to only take up one space. And the single-digit addresses are close to Bayview.
From ITO #10
I’m possibly wrong, though, on second thought. It makes more sense that it’s a double-digit number that backed on to the Shermans’ former home.

It’s later this week. I’m hoping someone attends and reports back.

I’d be very interested in anything new, much less interested in KD’s ideas about what he imagines embarrasses TPS.

Oops sorry jumping the gun, and Agree 100%. We want facts not potential story for click bait.

I have been away for several weeks, and had hoped some sleuther would have broken the case wide open. Unfortunately that does not appear to be the reality. AFAIK the $35 million reward is still available, why isn't anybody talking?

I think it will have to be a Websleuther that will have to break it open.

I would be pleased if that happens. Unfortunately we websleuthers are operating with a dearth of information.

A few things come to mind that make this such a difficult case to solve.

1) The TPC taking six weeks to determine that a crime took place. If on the day the bodies were discovered, the TPC had all the borders impose very tight security checks on individuals leaving the country, maybe the TPS would have developed more leads. Remember it was the TPS stated there was likely an overseas aspects to the case.

2) The individual(s) who actually committed the crimes, appear very sophisticated and knowledgeable in their craft. They have not left many clues.

3) Nobody is talking. People who know something are silent, because they fear prison time or an untimely death.

4) Having one detective assigned to the case, will not likely lead to success. This case I believe needs a full task force, starting at the beginning again.

5) As long there is no political will or leadership, the TPS working under budget constraints and as a bureaucracy will not dedicate the resources required.
