Sitting on a couch in a warm house and clean clothes behind a screen is far different than surviving dangerous real life wilderness

When I was a teenager in the wayback times, rock 'n' roll was the root of all evil. This may have been followed by reports of the ruinous influence of marijuana on the minds of crime crazed teenagers. Just sayin'.

Wasn't the other individual that was slain a "bearded man"?

He had an obviously very grey, full beard and white hair. Witness saw someone with a different style, trimmed beard that was dark. They estimated the person was in their 30's to 40's. Not similar to the victim.

Sorry, I'm not sure why some folks want to promote the idea that these young men are innocent. If they are, why don't they stop and turn themselves in?

ETA: Yes, they're innocent until proven guilty, but they're very strong suspects. If innocent, they should turn themselves in peacefully. They've had several opportunities so far.

That is correct....moo

Not quite. It originally belonged to a man who died in Dawson Creek, B.C. last year. Then it was sold at auction. His son-in-law was interviewed in the Vancouver Courier. I assume police told him that this was the very same van.

And I won't go down the rabbit hole of an Alberta licence plate again.

It is amazing how an 18 and 19 year old are able to evade the RCMP, Cdn Military as well as other authorities all this time. Its just mind boggling. Either they are still there and alive, still there and dead or worse, out of the area and on the move. The later is frightening.

If these two, are alive, and if they were the ones searching for food at the dump when spotted, imagine their anxiety now, in regards to their next move.
For days evading capture, and now very close.
I am hoping they surrender peacefully, knowing their ending otherwise would be death: either by a shoot out, or due to the wilderness, trying to survive without being seen.
MOO.

I wonder how you can "see" an argument or people feeling uneasy while you're passing them on the highway? I'm not doubting the woman's feelings, just wondering how reliable that account truly is.
That was I was getting at but for some reason I wasn’t quoting properly.

If you know how far they could have gotten in the amount of time it took RCMP to get there, then it seems RCMP should know it too and should have set up a wider perimeter.
But why would they be rummaging through the dump in the daylight? When there's people coming and going all the time during the day.
They obviously know that they're wanted. If they're still up in that bush somewhere they'd see the planes and helicopters and everything going over head so they would know that Cops are looking for them. So why would you start going rummaging around in the dump during the day?

A few people have mentioned that they don't think that the suspects had a gun. RCMP have stated that the first two victims died of "gun violence," so the suspects had a gun.

On July 25th police stated they were just getting everything in order the charge Bryer and Kam with the murders of Fowler and Deese. I wonder why they haven’t changed them yet. With the amount of manpower involved in this case surely they’ve had ample time to finish getting everything in order.

I just hate missing out on any contributions to this thread, but it is a working day for me, and if your post doesn't have a like from me, it probably means I missed it in my hopeless attempt to live in two worlds at the same time, and in different time zones. Consider yourself upticked by me , anyways!

I was confident that I would be woken up at some ungodly hour by my daughter on her way to swimming practice ( they do this in the dark, a terrible way to bring up kids ) to tell me she was, again, correct, her view all along, etc , etc, etc.. but no. We are both simply amazed , not only at the capacity to remain in the wild, but the desire to remain in the wild, without WiFi, cell phone, hot showers, 21st century plumbing, toilet paper, soap, toothpaste, and a home cooked hot meal. ..

Not that I think they are heroic, or even acceptable, quite the contrary, but it is interesting that the killing appears to have stopped. .. There-in is the puzzle. Why did it start, why did it stop. This is the only reason I would like these blokes captured alive, if any answer they could give could be believed.
Perhaps they are in someone’s basement gaming and laughing at all the sitings , uproar and panic they have caused..not funny but one never knows.

Thank you, those who answered my questions. I'm guessing there's not a gas station in the village, but I could be wrong.

I thought we were clear on this a long time ago? Gee

I'll wait until they are actually charged with those murders before I make up my mind about a gun. It's unlikely they used a pellet gun, so yes, if they are ultimately charged with those murders, they must have had a gun. Whether they still have it (and ammo for it) would be the second set of questions.

I have seen no LE announcement that a gun was used in the crime with which they are charged. So, I'm going to stick to the facts as LE has presented them. There has to be reason they haven't charged them yet. I've been out of the loop for a few hours so someone link if the charges have been brought in the murders which are the topic of this thread.

Like I said before - there’s a good chance that they were bullied in high school for being different. One of them dropped out for a while and both ended up attending “alternative class” What better way to get kids to leave you alone and stop picking on you than to make them scared of you. (And no I don’t believe that telling a teacher/school official results in any preventions for further bullying).

Camo doesn't make people violent. I've seen babies in pink camo. In response to the original question, though, some violent people wear camo.

I suppose most people would just keep on going and forget they even seen a situation like this. But I know and maybe because I'm used to these back roads and Northern roads and remoteness .... I may not have stopped but I would have pulled up ahead and pulled over on the side of the road and watch them from a distance. Just to see if things are going to be okay. I definately would have done that. I guess I'm always on the lookout to make sure people are safe because of my medical career.

The sketch looks like the fugitive wanted for murder who crossed into Manitoba in June.

I know it’s a stretch but what are the chances that these are two separate crimes.(Quite a reach I know)

I see the point that the boys would come forward if they were innocent. I just hope we are not getting tunnel vision and there be others also involved.

That article is about a First Nation taking over policing as part of self-government. It is a recent idea, takes a lot of training and money, and the York Factory Band is not there. If you are interested, do a search for a 2018 CBC article on the status of the programme in Manitoba.

The band personnel in this case are probably involved in enforcement of Band bylaws, such as those relating to alcohol on a dry reserve. The Daily Mail article describing them as RCMP officers is patently ridiculous.
I looked for a while but saw no point in spending a ton of time on it .... I guess I’m just skeptical that they were entitled to stop the vehicle check for contraband but not ask for ID or Vehicle Reg ? I mean what if the found drugs/ alcohol and the occupants refused to let them have it ? What then ? Take them into custody ? That would indicate LE status ...No? Plus , they use the title of MFNPS ... just seems weird that’s all I’m getting at .

Final video before couple’s murder

Royal Canadian Mounted Police held a press conference today, a week after the couple were found on the side of Highway 97, 20km south of Liard River Hot Springs in British Columbia.

Police said the pair were “victims of gun violence” after earlier revealing their bodies were “unrecognisable”.

Forgive me, Ive not had any constructive quality time to give to this thread and am just relying on you guys.

Did the female roadworker witness describe seeing another vehicle too, or just a bearded man engaging with the couple?

LE play Whack-a-Mole. Murderous Jackrabbits play Lanius:Fallout.
There is no such game as Lanius:Fallout.

There is a long running and very popular series of handg called Fallout and one features a character called Lanius.

We don't know perhaps .... they modified that air gun.
