Yes, he 'offered' to buy Gaza (not clear from whom) but we haven't heard any more about that.
I also agree he doesn't respect many aspects of the UN, but his concern to appoint a US Ambassador shows he wants to play a role in reforming it, not just abandoning it. If that were his goal, he wouldn't appoint a representative at all.
Obviously, Trump enjoys verbalizing his desires. But what he says and what he can actually do are, IMO, world's apart, because one is fantasy and the other is reality. Only time will tell if he/his people find ways to cross the great divide between what Trump wants and what Trump gets. Deporting vulnerable, illegal Venezualians is easy, but invading/annexing nations is not.

IDK. All I know is that he stood up against the derogatory things Trump was saying during the wildfires.
Then Trump cut the National Park Service staff (drastically) so they have even less chance of keeping the forests as wildfire-safe as they can.

How does this work? A car part made in Canada is needed in the USA. Canada, the seller, sets the price of that part. The 25% tariff is included in the price. The USA can buy it at the set price, or not.
Is Trump now telling USA automakers to take a profit cut, sell vehicles at less than cost? Does Trump think he can tell Canadians what price to put on their products?
