They haven't had one press conference since he went missing.
If they're certain that the family isn't involved and can be ruled out, that Dylan made it home Sunday night, that dad's story is true, that the local RSO's have been ruled out, that cell phone information and video footage can rule out local involvement, and Dylan in fact went missing between 7:30 - 11:30 Monday morning.... these little statements and comments to newspapers here and there left up for interpretation aren't helping anyone and by anyone I mean DYLAN.
They may not have clues or leads but if they can rule out scenario A, B, C, and D they need to make that known so people can quick focusing on that and be turn focus, resources, and attention elsewhere. I really would prefer not to mention MR or any of the family's domestic issues ever again if I knew MR's timeline was accurate.
I don't know why there has been such silence in this case by LE, either they don't have much or they are playing it strategically. I do believe actions speak louder than words, but eventually their words need to be clear if they've run out of leads and need the public's help. If they have nothing, remember, it can take just one person to call in a tip that could help find Dylan. And if that person isn't sitting around following this story or unaware of who Dylan is, LE should probably handle this as officially as possible.
This is jmo and it's mostly from a place of frustration.
