IMO, no I don't think that is possible.
A couple of reasons:
Who would help? I know that there are a lot of dirt bags that wouldn't think twice about killing a spouse or business partner for money, but even dirt bags have morals and steer away from harming children.

If there isn't someone to help, where would he stash him and in what condition that MR would know he was safe, fed, warm, etc without checking on him from time to time.

Sure- threatening one's loved ones is a surefire way to get someone to do what you need them to. Or putting them in complete and total isolation. Or brainwashing their heads with all kinds of crap about reality. Not suggesting any or all of these but yes, I do think it is possible. Continually harder, perhaps, but possible.

If it was the case then it would have to be somebody close to him, i don't see it being somebody he does not trust .


I do sometimes wonder if it was to punish Elaine and it has totally snowballed out of control and that Dylan will be able to return home safe and sound. But the more time passes the less likely this is sadly .IMHO

I have followed Dylan's case and lurked on his threads here. I don't have anything to contribute to this case right now, but I wanted to let the family know that many of us have Dylan in our thoughts even if we don't post.

All the WSers keeping up the discussion are doing a great job. I wish HLN would give Dylan's mom some airtime now that the Arias trial is on a break.

Who would do that? What would the motive be? You know it's not MR brainwashing anyone because he is in Vallecito. So who would help?

No, I don't (not with what little information we have from LE).

Unless there is someone in the case we are not aware of....

I think everybody is either (a) being watched or (b) have been pretty visible.

So who would keep a 13 year old hidden for someone else?

It would have to be a very elaborate scheme.......and someone you trusted your life (and your son's) with or paid a lot of money too....

With it being 2 months, that's a long time to keep a 13 year old quiet and hidden....but stranger things have happened.

I still have a whole lot of questions for Mark and LE....and either one is not talking right now

I would believe it's because fb is considered rumor, however, IMO every MSM article has been rumor as well, since nothing in those comments have been verified either. Confusing I know, why one is allowed and the other isn't.

I've seen a few stories like this one in the news over the last couple years. So I can't say it's impossible that he's been hidden. How safely is a matter of interpretation.

No, I don't think it's likely, but there are gullible people, folks with addictions or mental issues perhaps, that might be convinced that they are doing this for a child's own good or to prove their love. Weirdness happens.

Such a good point! I tend to believe family members over what the media has to say. LE aint saying nothing so they're no help.

People here are always free to go post on FB pages to discuss things that aren't allowed here. I personally think there's already enough rumor and gossip mixed in with the facts without adding even more to the mess. MOO

Unless MR is a part of some underground fathers' rights group or something, I can't get with the "stashed" scenario. And if he is, then he probably has a "bat" phone etc. and his records won't be of much use. But I don't think there is any reason to believe that he is a part of any organized group, as far as I know. And really, someone doing this for him as a "favor" seems ludicrous to me. I know family needs to believe this, but it is difficult for me. I do not believe that MR planned to hurt Dylan, but I do think that is what ended up happening.

I think [almost] anything is possible, but it seems less probable as time goes on. From what most people are saying, I can't imagine MR having anyone who'd be willing to help him, but he's not the only one who might have a reason for wanting to hide him out. MOO
