Wow. I just assumed all of us were here in one accord (albeit it from different angles) to find a missing young man.

I don't have to be right; I never have to be right -- but I do need to follow what my mind and soul are telling me about this case. Strange that I would feel so neutral in my views about MR vs. ER, etc. It's definitely not like me to be this way, I usually have a strong feeling fairly quickly but not this time. Weird.

Wonder if the FBI is making a list and checking it twice ... someone's gotta know something.

Agree.

I've said this before and will say again, I'm not pro-MR or anti-ER. I think that's absolutely ridiculous. I'm pro-DYLAN! I'm pro-TRUTH! I'm pro-FACTS. As of now I don't have the facts I need to say MR is guilty. If that make me a "feel good" or whatever, then so be it.

I think it must be almost impossible to prove a negative, i.e to prove that Dylan was NOT at the house, for example.

If indeed MR IS under suspicion, what on earth can LE do? It is just like too many other others cases, where LE cannot prove that what the parent is telling them is not true, such as with Ayla, Lisa, Isabel and others. Honestly, things could stay this way for years, a horrible thought.

I feel exactly the same way! LE doesn't have enough facts to say MR is guilty.

Furthermore, do I want to sit around the campfire singing Kumbaya with y'all? No. But I respect most of you and what you have to say. (General you) I'd be lying if I said I haven't wanted to teeter to one side, but I just can't. I need to be 100%. I've found some great recipes for CROWfish etouffee, but even if it turns out MR is guilty, then what does anyone win? Nothing. The focus should be on Dylan and on finding him safe and sound. Gah, I had wine tonight so I'm feeling all wordy. I'll stop now. :)

I think the only way to find Dylan Redwine is to focus on Mark Redwine.
I think he has all the answers.

Just My Opinion

I want to sing Kumbaya? And have some wine also :)

I respect that, but what if that's not the case. What if something happened that has nothing to do with the familly? A random abduction. So many people talk about how remote it is in Vallecito so why would a kidnapper be there? Well, I think the answer is in the question. Remote. I'm not saying this is what I believe happened, but what if? I think the vibe and media being sought is going to hinder this investigation. IF someone else has/had Dylan (other than MR) then I'm sure they're really happy to see all the focus put on MR and away from them. All I'm saying is there's just not enough to focus SOLELY on Mark.

And yes, wine is good.

I ask myself everyday, what if the original statements about MR had not been made, would we be looking at him as having done something bad to DR. If the suggestion had not been made that he had removed DR from the situation what would my feelings be right now. I have to say for me the seed was planted and I never originally had the thought that DR's father had harmed him. jmo

I also found the posts on fbook about WS to be extremely tacky... considering all of us here at WS have the same goal in mind-- find out what happened to DYLAN!

I am wondering if we can discuss a text screenshot-- is that rumor?? I'm not trying to discuss anything inappropriate.

I think it's unlikely that Dylan would be held by a family member. Sounds like he has been through a lot by now (parent's drama and divorce, moving away, etc.) he is probably pretty street-smart and it would be hard for anyone to keep him hidden.

JMO.

& pass the bottle of wine, please!!!

While I admire what Elaine is doing by getting Dylan's name and face out there, I do not agree with vigilantism. It's dangerous.

Interesting to re-read the timeline. Oh, to be a fly on the wall at LE.

Technically we are only allowed to discuss the official facebook page :)

I guess the way I follow cases is not about a gut feeling so much is what makes the most sense based on what is known. Even then I never say never, but I do form opinions if I follow a case closely and there is enough information. Sometimes I am wrong, sometimes I am right...most of the cases I have followed aren't solved yet. Does it matter if my opinion is right or wrong? No, only to me and I understand everyone has different views on how they look at things.

We cannot discuss the text and with good reason. It's one-sided. I haven't been back to read further, but last I saw there was only that one text. Not what preceded it.

I am most being led, if that is the word, by LE. THEY are not behaving as though they believe Dylan is the victim of a stranger abduction, IMO.

Heck, I'm not even 100%! But I think some things are far more likely than others.

What kind of wine you got? We should drink a toast to finding Dylan!

I so agree with this. I wanted to use the "vigilante" word earlier but didn't.

I go by my gut when I don't have all the facts. It's how I roll. :)

I don't think LE is showing anything other than how they can win the silent game.
