Unfortunately, Denver news will have some additional shocking stories. A middle school age teenager was arrested for sexual assault, there is a Sextortion case (whatever that is), an x-game athelete was taken off life support today, a lady shot a police officer and was killed in Denver. Yeah, Denver news is always very uplifting (not)

I don't know how much time will be devoted to Dylan, but they have been promoting the story quite a bit.

I do not believe that ER has ever been on their radar as a viable suspect. MR, on the other hand, remains one, imo.

I don't either, however I don't believe they want to tip their hand. I also don't see CR or ER complaining in ANY way about this. :rocker:

Thank you for this. Also, would you mind if I shared it with other family and friends?

I was hoping someone would - or post it on the official FB or wherever. I want the family to know that there are folks who LOVE their son, grandson, brother, friend, etc....

Please share..... and thank you!

Now might be a good time for all those who haven't done so, to go light a candle for Dylan on the page link below created in support of the upcoming Beams of Light Birthday celebration for Dylan. I'm personally inviting all WS posters to go light a candle for Dylan and leave a short message of support. Although our opinions certainly differ, one fact remains, and that is that each and everyone one of us cares about Dylan and want him found!

If it is not possible in this discussion forum, at least we should all be able to come together as a team in lighting a candle supporting Dylan and his family.

Sorry Jan :( It's beautiful and I have looked a few times but I cannot bring myself to do it. It's too memorial/funeral-esque for my comfort. I'm sorry. But it is beautiful.

Jumping off of this, so Dylan's phone died, went kaput, wouldn't take a charge, wouldn't keep a charge. He wakes up late, doesn't think to use his ipod, the home computer, the home land line, walks out the door with all his belongings and vanishes in thin air.

Not picking up what's being put down here. No offense at all, just jumping in because there was phone postings.

I can't buy that this kid shows up and all of a sudden his phone dies, but this tec savy kid can't manage to contact a single person by any means in the morning for a ride. He just decides to walk off on a trek of over how many miles in hopes of maybe possibly hitching a ride with someone that might be going on a dead end street on a Monday morning.

I know that my grandson wanted to go to his friends house and we didn't (meaning I didn't have the number) my 10 yo grandson figured out how to get the number long before I did. I can imagine that a 13 yo would be able to contact the friend, dial 411, look on the internet, for his friends home. Or is it that they all live in the sticks and nobody had land lines all the while knowing the get crappy cell phone reception. Or perhaps they have land lines but they are private & unlisted.

It can't work all ways, the possibilities of the impossible don't match up with the actuallity of the reality.

Again, mija, nothing against your posting at all, i just jumped on it because of all the phone talk.

No offense taken. :)

I honestly get where people who think MR is guilty are coming from. I do. I really really do. I think there are plausible scenarios that can explain the phone situation; thus, I just can't jump on him being guilty. I can lean that way, sure. As Seajay talked about earlier with her prior jury duty stint, if there's reasonable doubt for me, I can't ignore that.

I CHALLENGE you to light a candle, and leave a message. Offer your pain up .... for Dylan. (Now how can you refuse...?) :blushing:

I've never experienced nor can I even imagine what a Parent or Parents endure durning times like these, This should have brought them closer together in helping to bring Dylan home, instead it's had the exact opposite effect.

Normally I would agree with this, but I think the history and circumstances surrounding their divorce (and their subsequent feelings and actions towards one another since) allows for such an exception. There is a great deal of animosity here and it is - and has been - equally shared and carried out. Both are culpable in this regard, and as we've seen from both, those feelings don't simply go away. Even in unspeakable tragedy.

ER is not wanting to talk to MR to share in grief. She has a new partner, a son, and a whole host of support for that. She wants to keep pushing his buttons - period. He is not buying into it, and I don't blame him at all.

O/T but Caleb (the X-game athlete) grew up 5 miles away from me. Sad. :(

Since we don't have all the information...it is possible that he did use the landline and someone did come get him.

Do I think it happened..no, but it is possible IMO.

Why would LE base his not running away on the fact that he had not reached out to anyone, if he had?

Indeed. Let's then look at it from an unbiased position.

No evidence and everything either checks out or is reasonably consistent (sans utter speculation) with MR's story. Now you go.

Where did you get the "no evidence" idea from? As far as I know, none of us are privy to what LE did or did not find in his house. Also, how you do you know that everything "checks out" with his story of what happened the night Dylan arrived? TIA

It's coming up after the weather!!

Finally... "Where's Dylan" showing in the upcoming stories. I'm not exactly a patient person!

Phone books and Internet don't have cell numbers.

But in a community where cell phone service is so horrible, it would have numbers for land lines. I find it hard to believe that if the cell service is that bad that people don't have a land line as well. Why put money into a cell phone that doesn't work??????
