My DH saw MR on DP. I'd never discussed my interest in the case before. My DH said, "I was more upset than this man when our Bonkers flew up into a tree". Bonkers is our cockatiel. He also thinks MR is a very angry man.

Does anyone have a link to where MR initially claimed to have spoken to T? I have seen this mentioned often but don't recall it myself.

IMO after the first few minutes of all parties being onstage (during the DP show) the tone overall had been set. It was pretty obvious who was in the hotseat, so I am surprised that anyone would find it strange that MR would be uncomfortable, or not responding in a calm manner. IIRC everyone on stage had their angry moments where they leaned forward in their seats, raised their voices, expressed anger etc - including DP.

I have been wondering if the google map showing the distance between MR's and T's house was prepared in advance ready to support ER's assertions of 6 miles? Or maybe editing had removed a portion during taping where the map was googled on the spot and brought up during the conversation - is that the case azgrandma?

IMO editing can distort the full picture on these shows - but boy do they cut away for enough commercials and show promos!! I tend to watch all my favourite tv shows online these days, and I forgot what tv advertising was like. The advertising on those DP episodes seemed over the top to me - I did get a laugh out of the beer battered fish taco one though :)

Commercials *may* be responsible for the small semblance of tidiness I keep in my home...

3:00?!! :what: Time for Dr. Phil, and my whirlwind tour of the house during commercials!! (I especially like how there are so many towards the end!)

And angry men can lash out and cause a accident in the heat of the moment :cow:

Is there anywhere online where I can view the Dr Phil shows.

I asked a couple of men what they thought and they said they wouldn't have taken the lie detector test either. They said they felt he had been ganged up on by Elaine, Cory and even Dr. Phil and that if they had been Mark, they would have shut down and not done anything Dr. Phil wanted them to do. I guess I just know passive aggressive men!!!

My husband is moody and headstrong (Bronx born Italian man) but when he watched the show, he had quite the opposite reaction. (and NOBODY makes him do what he doesn't want to do!)

But there is a difference in becoming a bull in situations where you feel ganged up on, and when your son is missing and people are looking at you for several reasons.

That's when it's time to get over yourself, so you can help to clear your name, so people can concentrate on "focusing" on what's important. Finding Dylan.

I think I read there are links in the links section. Or at the very least there are transcripts...

LE has not named MR as a point of interest or a suspect, so his name is already clear.

I'll have to respectfully disagree. He appears to be quite infamous right now. (rightly or wrongly)

If someone else were to confess today, lead LE to Dylan, Dylan were to say MR wasn't involved, and all of the rumors going around were proved to be false, I don't believe MR's name will ever be clear again. Guilty or not, he'll be paying for the rest of his life. MOO

Just because he has not been named does not mean he is not of interest to LE. No matter what he is the last verified person to have seen Dylan and that brings its own questions. :cow:

IIRC LE hasn't cleared anyone's name.:twocents::moo:

This in itself is so wrong IMO. And any infamy is the product of some very concerted efforts by some - but hey, he might be innocent, but it doesn't matter.

Every time that man speaks the chances that he is innocent become more and more diminished in my own mind.

I cannot speak for anyone else, but I certainly am not making a concerted effort to suspect him. He's doing very well making himself out to be a suspect. (if only in the eyes of the witnessing public)

From following years of cases like this, and generally, when a parent gives inconsistent and nonsensical answers to very basic questions over and over, and when a parent isn't crying out for their missing child (who could be going through heaven knows WHAT right now) and when that parent isn't doing every possible thing to help people get to the bottom of where his son is, then...there is a disconnect somewhere. I don't believe that disconnect is with the people who are pointing out the...unusualness of mr's behaviour.

*sheesh* catswhiskers, please allow me to :truce: that was not meant to be a diatribe at you, but rather at the idea that there are a gang of people who just can't see clearly, and only want one thing; for mr to be guilty. I can promise you that most have not wanted that at all.

I respectfully disagree, as per the post by nursebeeme that features on the first page of each of Dylans threads.

The problem I see with MR disappearing Dylan and handing him off to someone else......is MR has come off as so unlikeable, who in their right mind with either have the loyalty to do something like this for MR, risking their own freedom, or MR would have to have a load of money to pay someone unscrupulous to take that type of a job of hiding a 13 year old kid and pretty much babysitting him to make sure he didn't get away. I just don't see it. Harly anyone has come forward on MR's behalf in any way, and those who have have come under ridicule so I don't see anyone liking him enough to be an accomplice to something illegal like this. IMO

I agree with you CJ, wholeheartedly in that scenario, hence in the image I have of a very angry Dad who killed him as he could with one hand by 'throttling' him when Dylan said the thing that 'crossed the line' according to MR. JMO etc

About MR going to T's house and talking to him, I haven't found a direct quote, but I believe I heard it which means it could be on video. I can't listen at the moment, but here is an indirect quote.

Mark said he tried texting Dylan all afternoon in an area with spotty cellphone service. When he didn't hear anything back by late afternoon, he went to Dylan's friend's house in Vallecito. That friend hadn't seen him.

Mark became alarmed and drove the 20 miles to Bayfield. Dylan's friends there hadn't seen him either. Mark called Elaine Redwine and went to the Bayfield Marshal's Office.

Dylan wanted to see Ryan on Sunday night, but his dad wouldn’t let him and Ryan was heading back from Pagosa Springs that night.

So instead, Dylan promised to come to Ryan’s grandmother’s house in Bayfield at 6:30 a.m. Monday. The early hour didn’t surprise him, Nava said. Dylan was known to randomly show up. Ryan received his last text from Dylan just after 8 p.m.

Dylan was planning to come to Ryan’s grandmother’s house, and he asked if she would care if he came over. And then the conversation ends. Expecting Dylan, Ryan set his alarm and woke up at 6:30 a.m. At 6:46, he sent a text to his friend, asking where he was.

But Dylan never responded.

Nava said he would have expected Dylan to text him Monday morning if he overslept or at least to say when he was headed down to Bayfield.

Throughout the day Monday, Ryan texted Dylan, his messages becoming more and more urgent.

:furious:

But CW it did not have to be this way.
All he had to do was talk to his family!
there would have been No Dr Phil!
No fb pages

This man wont talk there is a reason!

He makes himself look guilty!
