Does anyone have a link to where MR initially claimed to have spoken to T? I have seen this mentioned often but don't recall it myself.
IMO after the first few minutes of all parties being onstage (during the DP show) the tone overall had been set. It was pretty obvious who was in the hotseat, so I am surprised that anyone would find it strange that MR would be uncomfortable, or not responding in a calm manner. IIRC everyone on stage had their angry moments where they leaned forward in their seats, raised their voices, expressed anger etc - including DP.
I have been wondering if the google map showing the distance between MR's and T's house was prepared in advance ready to support ER's assertions of 6 miles? Or maybe editing had removed a portion during taping where the map was googled on the spot and brought up during the conversation - is that the case azgrandma?
IMO editing can distort the full picture on these shows - but boy do they cut away for enough commercials and show promos!! I tend to watch all my favourite tv shows online these days, and I forgot what tv advertising was like. The advertising on those DP episodes seemed over the top to me - I did get a laugh out of the beer battered fish taco one though![]()
My DH saw MR on DP. I'd never discussed my interest in the case before. My DH said, "I was more upset than this man when our Bonkers flew up into a tree". Bonkers is our cockatiel. He also thinks MR is a very angry man.
I asked a couple of men what they thought and they said they wouldn't have taken the lie detector test either. They said they felt he had been ganged up on by Elaine, Cory and even Dr. Phil and that if they had been Mark, they would have shut down and not done anything Dr. Phil wanted them to do. I guess I just know passive aggressive men!!!
Is there anywhere online where I can view the Dr Phil shows.
My husband is moody and headstrong (Bronx born Italian man) but when he watched the show, he had quite the opposite reaction. (and NOBODY makes him do what he doesn't want to do!)
But there is a difference in becoming a bull in situations where you feel ganged up on, and when your son is missing and people are looking at you for several reasons.
That's when it's time to get over yourself, so you can help to clear your name, so people can concentrate on "focusing" on what's important. Finding Dylan.
LE has not named MR as a point of interest or a suspect, so his name is already clear.

I'll have to respectfully disagree. He appears to be quite infamous right now (rightly or wrongly).
This in itself is so wrong IMO. And any infamy is the product of some very concerted efforts by some - but hey, he might be innocent, but it doesn't matter.

The problem I see with MR disappearing Dylan and handing him off to someone else......is MR has come off as so unlikeable, who in their right mind with either have the loyalty to do something like this for MR, risking their own freedom, or MR would have to have a load of money to pay someone unscrupulous to take that type of a job of hiding a 13 year old kid and pretty much babysitting him to make sure he didn't get away. I just don't see it. Harly anyone has come forward on MR's behalf in any way, and those who have have come under ridicule so I don't see anyone liking him enough to be an accomplice to something illegal like this. IMO
I think I read there are links in the links section. Or at the very least there are transcripts...
About MR going to T's house and talking to him, I haven't found a direct quote, but I believe I heard it which means it could be on video. I can't listen at the moment, but here is an indirect quote.
Mark said he tried texting Dylan all afternoon in an area with spotty cellphone service. When he didn't hear anything back by late afternoon, he went to Dylan's friend's house in Vallecito. That friend hadn't seen him.
Mark became alarmed and drove the 20 miles to Bayfield. Dylan's friends there hadn't seen him either. Mark called Elaine Redwine and went to the Bayfield Marshal's Office.

:what: Eileen...I don't think we're allowed to sleuth public figures. Even if they are movie stars...
