So we have two quotes where Dylan was asleep when MR left home . In other quotes Dylan acknowledged him when he left the house ?!

We also have MR saying he spoke to one of Dylan's friends but another one where the boy was not actually home .

In both cases how can you confuse the facts so easily ?

You are awak or you are not awake . You are home or you are not home . It just totally baffles me !!

Thanks Score. Unfortunately, this one was it either. I'll keep thinking I know it was said Mark saw a liaison once a week way back. I wonder why he quit?

sorry, thought you were looking for the gun on the table....

No-no it was, I thought that one might have been it ~ my mistake. Thanks again.

My opinion is that whoever is responsible for Dylan's disappearance possibly hid him very well, took the time to bury him in a special place in a respectful manner.

I have thought about this, too. I don't think they would ever have found Mickey Shunick's body if the murderer had not told them where she was buried (which was next to an old cemetery).

I would think the area in & around where Mark lives would be hard to dig, due to either rockiness or tree roots though, but I know what you mean where Mickey was found.

Do we know how far away the house next door is in relation to Mark's house?

I have often wondered 'if' they would of noticed lights being on late into the night or anything odd but i guess it depends on how close the houses are around there.

IIRC, and I don't have the source material at my fingertips so I can't provide a link, the following was said to have happened.

MR said that LE suggested mediation for MR and ER because of their communication issues.

ER said that she would not attend mediation without LE there.

From data I have heard that people received when getting in touch with LE through the Tip Line, it does not appear that LE is favoring one party over the other or telling one party things that they are not telling the other party. JMO

Not sure, looking at the map at least 100+ feet and there are trees on either side + across the street. Not sure what kind of trees, so would the leaves be on the trees then? In one way, I think if someone saw lights it would stand out as Mark is away so much.

I will join you in your prayers. I don't think anger and the pursuit of vengeance begets the answers we seek. I have been focusing on the concept of forgiveness and it's a pretty huge mountain to climb. (it's hard to get there from here)

It's possible that people who are surrounded by prayers, love and mercy are more likely to come forward for healing and forgiveness. Let that be the case, and let love win in the end.

What a wonderful posting. I hope we all can begin to do this for everyone involved.

How would people calling into the tipline, ever get any inside info like that? It does not ring true, imo, that investigators would share that kind of information with a tipster. JMO

In terms of ER saying she wanted LE there, I don't know if that is true or not. But if so, they still would not have been there if they had no interest in the conversation. If I was having an upcoming mediation with my ex, and I asked LE to attend, they would say buzz off, imo.

They do not need to. <modsnip> that MR is the last confirmed person with Dylan so therefore he is very much in the frame here :cow:

Elaine was 100's of miles away when Dylan vanished .

:cow:

It's common early on to focus on the last known person to have seen the missing person, but after a time, and when there hasn't been enough evidence found against that person, they usually move on to something else, and focus in another direction. Not necessarily another person... just other possibilities.

You are absolutely right and this is why I want to talk about Dylan. What kinds of feelings, conflicts, adjustments he may have been dealing with. Moving away was not a joyous occasion and even if Dylan wanted to go, he was bound to have some conflicting emotions. I don't know why some people think that really taking a look at Dylan and getting a comprehensive picture of him is somehow disrespectful. In no way is Dylan responsible for what has happened to him. He was only 13.

They also provided the correct information about MR contacting the Marshall's Office, and it was just as MR said.

She was on her way to a mediation, which LE also attended. So it does make sense, imo.

It is JUST MY OPINION that the Colorado Springs family members have been cleared. They have publicly stated they passed their polys. I doubt they would have done so if it were not true. And LE has released info stating that they were , in fact, hundreds of miles away when D went missing. And LE has never asked the public if they had pictures or video or knowledge as to the whereabouts of ER or MH during the time D went missing. Imo, they have been cleared.

WHO has publicly stated that they passed their polys? I thought LE said they were not going to comment on the polys. You think this would be the first time a parent of a missing child was not entirely truthful? I assure it's not.

And actually, from what ER said on NG, she didn't actually take a poly. She said something to the effect that she passed the first part, to determine if she was a good candidate to take a poly. She did not mention the results of the poly itself. Frankly, I've never heard of LE doing the baseline part and not going through with the entire thing. So my conclusion is that she either doesn't know much about how they work or she is not sure whether she passed it or not.

Her statements on NG are in the media thread I'm sure, and I'm sure other posters have seen it, so not looking up a link right now. I'm grabbing dinner in a few, so shoot me. :seeya:

I don't know for sure if it was just as MR said. He has said various versions of that time period. First, he said that he texted Elaine and then went to the marshalls office. Now he is saying he went and reported D missing at the station, and THEN he texted Elaine. But that does not fit the initial timeline. He texted Er about 4:30, but his report was filed at 6 pm. So that makes no sense.

ER and CR have publicly stated they passed their polygraphs. If that were not the case, then I think LE would have corrected them. JMO

I did. I said it was not a joyous occasion for Dylan to move six hours away from all he knew in Bayfield, his friends, his father, his school. I said that Dylan would be conflicted about moving even if he wanted to go. Even the world of children is rarely black and white.
