Again, that is from the affidavit and not the preliminary hearing. At the preliminary hearing, the testimony from Agent Slater specifically stated KK told him PF told her that the murder was in the back room. No mention of the baby being in the playpen.
See item #66. It was not introduced at the preliminary hearing.

Definition of preliminary:
denoting an action or event preceding or done in preparation for something fuller or more important.
The most recent trial I followed was the McStay Family trial.
I watched and took detailed notes of the preliminary hearing. Much of what I heard at the preliminary had to be thrown out once the trial began.
Many 'facts' changed, some of the detectives testimony changed, as new information came forward.
That is why it is called 'preliminary'.
