Well I am judging, and feel free to rip me apart. The tax payers help fund this trial and support PF's needs in prison- food, shelter, medical care, etc. The tax payers ARE the public! They have a right to know what happened to Kelsey and who the characters are that partook in this heinous crime.

This is garbage. The could allow a few media outlets with cameras/mikes set up inside and put it on TV for those who want to watch- maybe some family members of Kelsey's who live far away and can't come would like to watch it at home or record it for after work to watch. Or even KK's and PF's families, not that I give a whiff about any of them, but I do realize some of the are innocent and had nothing to do with this crime.

Media is pretty good about letting other media outlets use their live streams, so they wouldn't need all media outlets inside, but let a couple in, dammit! They're not the ones that cause the commotions in the court room. This is just outrageous to me.

No need to rip you apart! :)

Perhaps you're not aware that it's actually Colorado State Law that explicitly prohibits the live coverage you seek. Seems to me there's been no success in changing the law -- and not because they've not tried.

For criminal trials, it's Colorado statute (Rule 3 - Chapter 38) which provides that Expanded Media Coverage (EMC) only considered for arraignments and advisements. When the Court has approved EMC, media does in fact share a pooled camera as you suggested.

Colorado Rule 3 noted below, and here's also the link for other State rules governing cameras in their courtrooms:

Cameras in the Courtroom - Media Relations State Links | NCSC.org

Rule 3 of Chapter 38 of the Colorado Supreme Court Rules explicitly lays out in subsection (3) that, “[n]otwithstanding an authorization to conduct expanded media coverage of a proceeding, there shall be no: (a) expanded media coverage... in criminal cases, except advisements and arraignments[.]”, emphasis added.

It's official -- District Court Judge Scott A. Sells denied expanded media coverage (EMC) for 10/18/19 pre-trial readiness, and coverage for the 10/28/19 jury trial.

And he was kicked in the head by a horse, which certainly didn’t make him any brighter.

That swift kick in the head by Mister Ed probably didn't do PF any favors.

But I'm not sure it had any detrimental effect, either.

Nothing from nothing leaves nothing, or something like that.

Kicking PF in the head would be like kicking the air. Or a deflated ball, even.

Sorry, probably shouldn't have mentioned deflated balls.

Touchy subject, I know, especially at this time of year.

I'm so thrilled, ya'll! Three Amber Alerts in as many days and all three located. Whew! Now if they could just find little Dulce...

Anyway, back to the all-important KK's ringlets... I had a thought about that this morning.

Based on earlier photos we have seen of KK, I suspect she’s worn her hair that way for quite some time but it could also be that it was recommended by her attorney as ringlets tend to personify “innocence.” Just a thought. MOO

I don't know, when I imagine her in ringlets my first thought is of Nellie Olsen.
Not so innocent.

:( Mr. Ed is long gone, long before PF's time? Even before mine basically except for reruns.

https://www.wideopenpets.com/secrets-didnt-know-mr-ed-talking-horse/

I guess PF could have had a son or daughter of Mr. Ed or a grand that kicked him in the head...

:)

I’m 90% sure that @GordianKnot doesn’t actually believe that PF was kicked in the head by a talking horse.

Fortunately, any animal getting revenge on PF is nothing short of poetic justice.

But talking was not a requirement.

I was simply wondering about the lineage of PF's horses... I mean Mr. Ed was famous and had a lot more to say than PF has said to date...

BBM:

I'm not sure whether to feel flattered or insulted that you left yourself a 10% margin there, but regardless:

Of course, that is correct.

I don't actually believe the horse that kicked PF in the head gave him a verbal warning in advance....
Or a verbal apology afterward, for that matter.

As we all know perfectly well, Mister Ed was the only talking horse that ever lived.

Nonetheless, I appreciate this other horse's obvious intelligence.
Clearly, he/she recognized that if ever someone were deserving of a swift kick in the head, it was PF.
I hope his/her owner rewarded that heroic steed with an all-you-can-eat menu of apples and carrots that day.

Love it :)
You know what? I honestly wish I had had the forethought to catalogue ALL the hilarious one line "zingers" from you, MG and so many other notable members. What a hoot to go over them and shoot one out now an then, credit to the poster, naturally.
Thanks for the laughs! We do need them now and then to lighten things up a bit.

He was not the only talking horse. I had one. Of course he never talked when I tried to show others he could talk--just like Mr. Ed. And my friend had a friend that everyone told her was imaginary but she could see her...

Go figure.

I had a nutty professor too...

Anyhow...

Animals have instincts better than people--and I have no doubt animals PF was around probably struck out at him...

If he was copying CW, he made the same ridiculously stupid mistake; he forgot to move Kelsey’s car.

The scenario that he was trying to sell, as supported by KK’s statements and cell phone data, was that Kelsey took off with the intention of committing suicide.

Tough to walk to Idaho from Colorado.

The text messages and phone calls from Kelsey’s phone was a nice touch, atleast as far as the prosecution is concerned.

It’s still unfathomable to me that a grown 🤬🤬🤬 man didn’t realize that two cell phones communicating from the same place, is damning evidence.

I could see a teenager making a mistake like this, but not someone his age.

Elaborate misdirection may be effective in some cases, but clearly put him at a huge disadvantage here.

He overthought things, which is ironic.
Every time I see you now discuss CW and PF in the same post, all I can think of is that comment you made a few months back- about their competing for the most stupidity. The comment was "hold my beer." Now I'm laughing. Thanks.

Yes, Nellie Olson was a "little" witch. KK is a very "BIG" witch  She's probably digging out her costume for Hallowe'en as we write :p Maybe this year she'll ride a broom instead of her bat

My favorite horse to kick him in the head is the one from Hee Haw.

IMO if she left that house alive, it was only just barely. And the only reason I think there’s a .0001% that could be the case is because PF is clearly an idiot, and perhaps so stupid he doesn’t know the signs of life or didn’t think to check for them.

IF she left alive, and that’s a big if, she was mortally injured and died shortly thereafter. I don’t wear hats but I’ll eat someone elses if she was taken alive deliberately as part of some plan.
iirc there is surveillance of him driving around with the black tote in the back??

When in jail, usually head lice, discipline, or you're headed to the big house. MOO

Yup.

Surveillance’s from an ENT Credit Union shows #PatrickFrazee truck and a “black tote” in the bed of the truck. Commander says that tote plays a significant role in #KelseyBerreth disappearance. Hoping to find out what was inside it. @KKTV11News

I don't think that really made much difference. It probably hurt the horse.
