This feels like something important to me. Why would he even talk about the option that she landed in the water when the creek was 100 yards (LS her words) away from where the bike was found? Jmo

BM may have been suggesting that she ‘got in the river’ because she was disoriented after a crash, or trying to get away from ‘The Kidnapper’.

Lauren is going to interview this same person, I think. This should be very interesting.
What the heck is DWAP? Sorry, I'm relatively new. And, where can I also stumble upon this live interview?
I would love if you'd message me. :D

search "dad with a phone" = DWAP. he has a youtube channel, as well as a fb page, and lives in colorado, so he covers the big cases coming out of CO.

Assuming that BM got it right on where the bike was. This is the same guy who said they searched 2oo mile radius (did he mean 200 square miles, i.e., 8 mile radius?) and he had a Army Ranger (was he a member of Ranger Battalion or just finished Ranger Basic Course?) who did 4oo tours (did he mean 400 missions or patrols?) in the Middle East. He didn't get those simple items right and that causes me to wonder if he has the correct spot where the bike was found. As you say we only have BM's word for it. We have TD's video as where the bike was found and it has gone viral and I don't hear anyone questioning if even that is right. I like Lauren Scharf and she is the best thing Suzanne has going for her right now. But as an investigative journalist I don't understand why she is giving it so much credence and not asking questions?

In yesterday's Profiling Evil (PE) video, the lead host, when demonstrating what a grid search is, misspoke. At the 18:00 mark, he said that some grids can "get down to a ten foot by ten foot radius." If he was talking about the grids, he should have said "ten foot by ten foot square" or simply "ten foot square". (Did I mention I tutor geometry?) People frequently misspeak. But, perhaps in this case, the host has been watching the BM video too much? ;-)

I agree. I think Lauren really didn’t know how to respond when they asked her how she felt “as a woman” at the site. Were they asking if she felt safe? Were they talking about her kinship as a fellow female to Suzanne? As a female journalist? What??

They seem to be really nice guys and the format is off the cuff and times are crazy so I tend to give them the benefit of the doubt. But dudes-nobody is asking you how you felt as a male.

i honestly think they were trying to ask her if she was scared being on the site, without saying "since you're a woman, were you scared (of the murderer) being on the site?"

i did notice her reaction, but i have nothing but respect for these 2 gentleman and really don't think they meant any harm or were being sexist in that moment. i felt like well, they are just from a different generation and therefore might think a little differently than we do today, and perhaps it just came out wrong. these days you have to carefully verbalize every thought that comes out of your mouth in a live moment, or else you're labelled as something horrible when someone gets offended. (i hate it, which is why i try to keep my mouth shut. lol. i wouldn't dare do a live stream for this very reason, so kudos to the live-streamers out there! it takes guts! ;))

@KLM6 : You asked about what I thought about the fact that neither Crimestoppers nor law enforcement has offered any sort of reward for information regarding Suzanne.

Given that we have very little publicly available information, I don't think that it indicates anything. You rightly point out that the $210,000 offer may very well dissuade any "official" organizations from offering rewards. Additionally, given the financial hit that everyone has sustained from the shutdowns, the "official" organizations may be more carefully watching where they allocate their funds.

Also, LS did say that, as Tyson said, 'it would be easily a place to dump a bike because no one could see from Hwy 50 and it's on a curve so anyone could see if someone's behind them to do it right there', which is logical.
She's one smart cookie and really cares. She's going to break this case. Can't wait until wed or thurs to see her interviews.
What irritates me is when the PE team keep bringing up that she's a woman. A woman's view, etc.
Puleese, she's a journalist. A really good one.
I really dont think they meant harm. They tried a few times to pull an opinion out of her but she slid right past and tried to stay factual and neutral. I feel like the female question (how did you feel as a female) - imo, was to consider SMs possible perception of the area, and was a lead-in to the next question (how did you feel as an investigative journalist) - imo, was to consider LE possible perceptions. I think they were trying to get her opinions on what she thinks happened or didnt happen at that location. She handled it like a champ. Especially noting factual things she witnessed while being there, (distance to the water, no broken branches, etc.) Im not disagreeing with you, just seeing it differently.

@kkdj : you asked what I meant about "romantic involvement" with either daughter.

I meant that IF I was an investigator or still a prosecutor, I would want to
ensure that the daughters' boyfriends (if any) also be investigated to eliminate them as suspects. As I indicated in my post, one way to do this would be to minutely examined cell phone activity.

Thank you. The shortage of funds is also something I had not thought of. I appreciate your reply.

I’m sure she’s asking, but the authorities aren’t answering.

All she has to go on are the bits and pieces that have come out (mostly thanks to that interview with BM).

Sounds like it’s a brick wall.

Moo and yet with all the obvious exaggerations and IMO lies, that BM tells, I believe one thing. The bike was found there, with the front wheel.... Because it is terribly important to him, a planted clue to steer Suzanne's disappearance away from the husband. Moo

During the PE interview with LS, she mentioned the neighbor of the Salida property search. The search that was done through concrete and sifted through for days.

Now that we finally have confirmation, I heard the neighbor’s call to DWAP (I’m not linking it as he is not approved). However, the information is now MSM with this interview.

I happened to stumble upon the gentleman she called after the search commenced. It was a live video.. (They are friendly and her call was informal but informative) She stated she had taken some photos and video because there was a man and a woman at the job site very early in the morning on MD weekend. She took the photos to send to the property owner as they live off site. It struck her as odd, both with the holiday and the early hours. She heard the heavy equipment and got up to see what was happening. She did not put this piece with the missing person until she heard the following week.

Then she heard about SM’s disappearance and immediately called it in. MOO, this is what LS confirmed tonight.

To clarify: This is the neighbor of the building site not the M home.

Well, that's rather interesting.

You might be right about Barry’s story on the bike location. It could be a lie or he could be mistaken.

The ONLY reason I’m inclined to believe the discovery and bike location are real is because the bike is crucial to the advancement of Barry’s theories on Suzanne’s disappearance. The bike is the prop for: abduction, bike accident, hit and run, animal attack, etc. He needs the bike to be there. The bike has to be there, otherwise Barry is 100% on the hook for Suzanne’s disappearance.

IMO

Rainbow, I just posted the same thing! Before I read your post. We think alike.

BBM. I’m confused. What gentleman are you referring to? Also, what interview are you talking about? Thanks so much!
I'm guessing this is all well documented on some NON MSM sites.
I generally avoid following cases on social media because most of the time, the info posted is 100% bullshirt rumor.
Kind of a waste of time, really.
But once in a while, some real important facts show up there that the MSM hasn't covered yet.

BM may have been suggesting that she ‘got in the river’ because she was disoriented after a crash, or trying to get away from ‘The Kidnapper’.

I still think that is a pretty long journey. Where the bike was found, that hill was steep. With 2 trees in the way. She must be hurt and the terrain is not easy off road. I really doubt she stumbled 100 yards and then got into the river. And if so dogs must definitely smelled her sense there. Jmo

It’s such a ridiculous theory. If SM went flying down that hill, on her bike, she would have been found with her bike. I personally know of two people, my elder brother and my best friend’s son, that had a serious bike accident that resulted in an ambulance ride and a few days in hospital and weeks of bed rest. Neither one could “get up and go” anywhere.

I’m really curious about the damage to that bike, and whether it is consistent with being hit by a car, being thrown down the hill or someone driving over it on purpose to make it look like it was hit by a car. I suspect the latter.

I'm so glad that she is going to interview that neighbor. I heard that when the three day search was going on, and it's been driving me crazy. Looking forward to LS interview.

i'm not ruling out the husband, but i can't rule out the river either. no two accidents are identical and if there was a head injury all bets are off on what a person might do.

Go to her web site and read her resume, under 'Experience'. Even her college experience is impressive.

Same but now i know the river is a 100 yards from where the bike was found i feel the river is way less likely now.
