TD poking the bear. I love it.

We all have thumbprints on the phones so any one of us can get in And “be” that persons phone
Eta and the thumbprint unlocks all the apps including email, financial, social media etc
And Suzanne wouldn’t have had to be alive in order for BM to access her phone with fingerprint recognition. IMO

I agree in that I don’t think Barry could fake a wedding convo either, but remember, he wasn’t alone that Saturday. His other employees were around too on the Salida job. One of them being a female employee who I could see convincingly faking a wedding convo IMO.

I do not think that a female employee could fake a conversation between two very close friends.

Maybe to see if anyone was trying to reach her via FB, knowing she couldn’t be reached? I mean I imagine some paranoia about when it would be discovered Suzanne can’t be located.
Or BM’s paranoia when she told him she wanted to go to Indiana for the friend’s wedding and to see her father. IMO

I'm getting a sinking feeling SM finally stood-up for herself - whatever the circumstances & anyone who's dealt with abusive men & sadly, SM herself I'm sure, know that you will bring hell down upon your head.
You simply cannot stand-up for yourself......(there are ways to deal with an abusive man - well, aside from leaving - but direct confrontation- NO)

I wonder if SM confronted him - who knows why - found something out or maybe BM's typical controlling & accusations against her (abusive types love to project what they do onto their partner).....she finally simply spoke up for herself

The type of person BM appears to be to me - & after, what, 20 something years of marriage - having his way, having SM bend like a blade of grass in the wind in every instance......& IF she confronted him with something very big & serious (like adultery or major lies about finances) then he may have went into a full blown rage.

These pansy-arse men can never own up to their actions or take responsibility....he took it out on her :(

IMO BM is responsible for SM's disappearance - it's bad enough - but have funny feeling, with his comments & especially that video he put out - as if it was sorta like 'aw shucks Suzanne, why'd you make me go and do something like that' vibe......that something like this went down

I've seen nothing in MSM specific to SM and her DNA. However, another murdered woman's name came up yesterday (Jennifer Rothwell) and by coincidence, I specifically recall her mother telling media that she had already given her DNA to authorities (for positive identification). It was very early.

I later learned that police took the victim's parent's DNA early to test if the blood found inside her home matched her daughter.

It's quite possible that authorities could be using family DNA to confirm blood or other forensic evidence found inside the residence belongs to SM.

MOO

I believe LE could have easily coordinated the collection with a lab in IN for a sibling or parent of SM. If done, I believe it would have been done early on. To clarify this is just a guess in this case and I have never seen it confirmed in MSM or by LE.

Thank you for citing that case. I know if it happening in a missing hiker case, foul play not suspected. IMO

I had NO idea!
MOO.
That's what I thought AM said, too. Could it be that Suzanne was texting with her friend with her phone and it ended at 2:30? Then the conversation continued on FB until 9:00 pm, and those were the messages that sounded out of character for her?

I'm getting pretty confused, because I am in the dark ages with my phone. I was just wondering why I get friend recommendations if they basically have no access to my phone (which yes, has no data anyway). But I think EggSalad said it accesses whichever device you are on, ie my email through the tablet.
Also remember, their Facebook account sees their phone contacts, and if you are one of their contacts, you BOTH will get friend suggestions for each other.

I was only addressing the question regarding a flip phone, have no idea how other devices or email integrate with facebook :)

I’m still not ruling out that something she found out and/or possibly let slip out may have got her. Not quite onboard with a crime of passion just yet. Either way you are spot on about what type of individual that makes him. MOO.

BBM:

I know technology has its uses, but this Big Brother crap genuinely creeps me out.

Everyone should pick up a copy of 1984 and read, or re-read, it.

Because 2020 is the new 1984.

George Orwell was a true visionary…he was just off by 36 years.

We're right there where he envisioned us.

JMO.
That’s exactly right, I read 1984 around 1984. Lol! Shows my age. It scared me to death.

I was thinking probably on his very first visit. AM knew from the beginning this was not going to end well.
He literally said that exact thing, but don't ask me to provide a link.

Speaking of AM, I've seen him in several places referred to as an attorney? Was this an error DM perpetrated in a recent story?

And that’s why the word is it changed right ?

I re-read 1984 a few weeks ago! Yes, chilling. Waay back in high school (before Alexa), I wondered how Big Brother managed to get all those devices in everyone's homes.

Now I know.

BB didn't have to do anything- people happily installed them themselves because they wanted them. In the beginning, that is.

The great thing about @Hoosierfan72 tip and similar tips is that it means LE would have had this info for a while, and would have put the pieces together pretty quickly. It might have taken a while for the subpoena to Facebook for the data, but I’m sure they locked BM into his self described timeline for 5/9 and that is going to blow up.

Well I'm going to have to start paying you guys consultant fees, lol. I was thinking that if I turn my contacts off, then I know that random visitors can't see my friends list, but I thought that FB wouldn't access the list either. And vice versa if my friends have their friends list turned off. I went thru the privacy settings and turned everything off. Especially the apps and friends.

I think we're a lot closer to being in Gilead, (HandMaid's Tale).
I haven't read the book. But I remember the author making a statement along the line of:
A man is afraid that the woman will laugh at him; the woman is afraid that the man will murder her.
Apologies to all the decent men out there.

A very close friend of mine was DEVASTATED when she confirmed her husband was cheating. It made me immediately think of her and the desperate state she was in to find out what was going on. She described herself as going to a low point with snooping. He was making her feel crazy and unhinged but she was right.

By snooping on her husband's phone, my friend found he was cheating.
She continued this, until she obtained loads of info against him, then texted the girlfriend, using husband's phone (when he wasn't around), acting as him.
Wow, imagine, when he was confronted with my friend's news.

Let us see, what we find, with possible extraneous posts on SM's devices.

For searches I think these would also be good locations.

38°29'41.4"N 106°04'50.1"W

Good spot right by Maysville with no one there and decent enough road to bring a trailer.

39°01'57.0"N 105°59'14.0"W

Kinda creepy why this spot has all these roads and no houses. Interesting spot if Barry decided to cut across instead of going north to Denver. Perfect infrastructure to bring a trailer. Nice flat ground but on a hill to bring the bobcat.
