BM's Trip?
CM mentions it here on his youtube channel (right around the 23 minute mark he gets into it about the Morphew case).
But he says a lot in that segment which is why @Sillybilly posted this:
"Although CM has been approved as a source at WS, without knowing his source and what he is basing this allegation on, we're removing the info about BM having a girlfriend as rumor. If not true, it's just too inflammatory." CO - CO - Suzanne Morphew, 49, did not return from bike ride, Chaffee County, 10 May 2020 #52 ....
@Ontario Mom sbm Thx for your link & reminder; it helps.
Yes, at ~ 23 min mark, Chris the host mentions first names of two females, about which we can have no further discussion.
~ 32:30 the host refers to a photo of BM & his 2 dau's in Mexico and suggests a 4th person accompanying them on the trip took the pic.
So that answers my question about who said BM went to Mexico.
To stay w'in ToS, now I'm clamming up about this.

SM & the Move to CO.
Thank you, al66pine.
In years past in IN, SM and BM were not neighbors of her family members, although they did live an hour's drive or less, for the most part...
However, you very well could be right in that Suzanne's family weren't pleased with the move. But, why? Did they feel she was protected near them in IN, esp. given the cancer treatments.
[EXCLUSIVE]...
@DeDee sbm bbm. Yes, agreeing - it's likely that SM's stmts of hesitation (?) likely accurately reflected her personal feelings about moving to CO. Thanks for reminding about background details.
My post just offered another possible line of thought.

New District Attorney assembles team, gets right to work – Canon City Daily Record

Jan. 15, 2021

Linda Stanley was sworn in as the District Attorney for the 11th Judicial District at 8 a.m.Tuesday

By 8:30 a.m., she was in the courtroom working on cases.

>
snip<

Additionally, Stanley met Wednesday with a team in Park County to go over a cold case that is expected to be moving forward “expeditiously.”

“The cold cases are really super important to me,” she said. “We are meeting to get a handle on what we need to get it moving again. That’s the No. 1 thing for me.”

Just trying to stay positive. I wouldn't call Suzanne's case a "cold" one, but surely this new DA means business about internationally known current cases, too. :)

Thank you, al66pine.

In years past in IN, SM and BM were not neighbors of her family members, although they did live an hour's drive or less, for the most part.

Their CO home was a 20 minute drive into Salida which eliminates the immediate convenience for shopping, grocery and restaurant locales. There may have been issues with reliable wifi. Initially, she had no friends in Salida. I think she became active with high school activities.

However, you very well could be right in that Suzanne's family weren't pleased with the move. But, why? Did they feel she was protected near them in IN, esp. given the cancer treatments.

"According to the source, the Morphew family moved from Indiana to central Colorado in the spring of 2018, after the Morphew’s eldest daughter moved to Colorado for college, and when their younger daughter was still in high school. The source said they believe Suzanne was less enthusiastic about the move than her husband was.

“I think there was some angst about the move itself,” the source said, noting that the Morphew’s Alexandria home remained on the market for a while after the family relocated to Colorado. <snip>."

The Indiana-based source said that Suzanne’s cancer had returned around the time the family was preparing to move to Colorado in 2018, and that she “was not doing well” at that time.
Missing Suzanne Morphew may have had ‘angst’ about move to Colorado, family friend says [EXCLUSIVE]
I mean can you imagine cancer returning and your husband initiating a move to Colorado? I dont think he thought she was going to beat cancer again. She did, she was a strong woman I think. He is just not a good person, imo.

Interesting that BM’s Plea intimated that he believed that Suzanne had been abducted, and he’s stated outright that he believes that she was abducted.

He stated that he believed Suzanne was abducted, yet moved quickly to take over Suzanne’s affairs then proceeded to sell her house, his truck and most everything that she was familiar with.

BBM
But he waited 5 days before his 26sec video.
BM knows SM is never returning.
He sold her Range Rover about the time he got his new truck right after SM disappeared. His actions or inactions are part of the reasons CCSO has never treated this as a true “missing person’s case”. Of course that’s just MOO!
I’d never trust BM’s statements.

Welcome to Websleuths! @tiffkinsadder

Here’s a link which includes the timeline of the case so far. You might find it helpful for getting up to speed. Months have gone by with really no new developments with yesterday marking the 10 month anniversary of Susanne’s disappearance. I keep praying she will be found.

I’m fairly confident he did it, but would love to hear his reasoning. Does he in someway feel justified? Or pardoned from wrongdoing?

I hope BM paid attention to the recent Donthe Lucas verdict since we’ve heard he’s a true crime buff. I think there will be similarities in the two cases as far as evidence, especially digital evidence, and both being “no body cases”, etc.

Interesting the reasons the jury says they found him guilty. The jury stated they found Lucas guilty based on his suspicious behaviors, his lies, his omissions, and him ever so slightly changing his story. That’s the reasons a jury of his peers have stated.

The investigators had forensically analyzed digital and electronic data from cell phones, GPS from a vehicle, and damaging to the defense CCTV footage. No smoking gun. No weapon. They didn’t even have a crime scene.

MOO Narcissists always justify their bad behavior and are NEVER responsible for how their life or life’s situations go. It is ALWAYS someone else’s fault.

You know, if SM had ‘just died of cancer’, if she would ‘not have threatened to leave him’,or if she had not ‘made him so angry’ in the first place, his theory would be she would still be alive, but darn her for what she did, it’s all her fault. I don’t think BM feels one ounce of remorse, he’s incapable of it MOO. MOO

With so many people following the minute details of literally everyone connected to BM and this case, if a PI were hired and was out and about asking questions, it would have already been reported in either MSM, SM or both. So even though BM is certainly not obligated to disclose that he'd hired a PI, it wouldn't be a secret for long.

jmo

And why hire a PI when you could have the resources of CCSO, CBI and FBI? That is assuming they’d clear him as a suspect...

YES, they have zero accountability ever. I still don't think he could of done something too brutal though, I really think if he did kill her , he strangled her.
I don't mean that strangulation is not brutal , I just mean I dont think he could of done something that caused a lot of blood.

I mean, BM said with his own mouth, "If one person got saved from this, Suzanne would think it was worth it."

Think what was worth it, Bear? What is "this?" Do tell us, so that we understand and have more sympathy for you.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

I wonder if BM was talking about himself, with the 'one person saved' comment?

just a thought

He can't tell anyone, because he clearly had no idea what he was talking about when he made that ludicrous statement, that, btw, not a single Christian husband of a missing wife, would ever say, in a billion years. No question he's heard Christian "lingo" in some of the churches he's been in, but he made it painfully obvious he doesn't have a clue what it means.

Someone refresh my memory - where did we learn that BM was a true crime buff?
It's come up again in the last few days and I cannot recall where that info came from.

Pretty sure it came from Profiling Evil. It came from a hunting friend of BM's, that said he liked to listen to true crime podcasts on hunting trips. That friend told Chris that info.
