I was thinking that too... as the call came in at 0815 and the chief said they activated teams within 7 min.. that being said that was HUGE to put that out there in a news conference (the bolo).

Thank you, I am well aware of that. As I recall, the Police Chief gave descriptions of the possible two additional suspects or shooters running around. Clint said, one of those descriptions matches the already one dead shooter.

It could have been phoned/texted in by a person helping the perp(s) ; in order to draw away LE from the initial scene. If that was the case, maybe a few months in prison !!! :banghead:

D.C. police chief Cathy Lanier said in a news conference that authorities are looking for “potentially two other shooters,” with one shooter dead at the scene.

“The big concern for us right now is that we have potentially two other shooters that we have not located at this point,” Lanier said.

She said one shooter involved in the situation is dead following the shooting.

Sounds like there may have only been one shooter ; if so, that is a good thing as that means there are no other perps on the loose !
