Please let me know if I'm reading this correct. Nola was outside the car while mom was inside the car? Were both mom and dad there? Above statements are from both mom and dad that's why I'm asking. They were taking by a white male and female ( driver). Does this sound correct?

This is local to me. I got the Amber Alert for it. I THINK both mom and dad were there but the alert and reporting is very unclear.

Is it possible the mom was inside the car but with the door open? Like sitting in the seat while a phone charged and the child played in the driveway? Cleaning the car out while the kid played? I've definitely cleaned out my car while my kids were playing in the front yard.

My understanding is that the mother pulled over to calm the child in the car down.

and then put her toddler outside the vehicle at some random point in their travels where mom pulled over because said 3 year old was upset? and Mom just sat in the car while her toddler was outside of it talking to her through the window?

I'm sorry but IMO this story is not passing the smell test. The hink coming off this one is high JMO

See the CBS News video in post #8. The reporter says that Nola was acting up during the drive, and the mom pulled over to the side of the road to calm her down. He says "they" got out of the car and a bald, white man approached "both of them" with gun. The video shows the street where the car was pulled over.

The following is a new video that just came out. The reporters in this one are also confused about whether the father was with them. They are trying to get clarification. They said that it was, for sure, the father who reported Nola missing. This new video shows areas where LE was searching.
