What a mess. So Deschamps is in NYC meeting w/ Allred and ZC hitches a ride down to Parkland to skateboard
at the hs. and gets arrested. No wonder the court is holding him. He has no where to go home to.
And she has Lynda Cruz's personal assets. Aargh.

OMG! I thought you were joking about Allred??? This is insane. What angle is she hoping to get at, im asking in literal terms? Aside from any inheritance is she hoping to launch a claim against LE because she cried out for ‘help’ for these boys? What is the connection with Allred, am I missing something? She could have gone to other attorneys. What is the end game here?

I wonder what the judge's game plan is for him. To teach him a huge lesson?? To gain popular support of community?
They are throwing 'the book' at him for a minor offense. If his name wasn't Cruz, he would be home and bailed out.
they're acting like he's guilty simply by his relationship w/ his brother. He needs a good ACLU atty, IMO.
Maybe Deschamps have thrown him out and he is homeless again, ?????

Don't worry, he isn't homeless now. On 500k bond, I presume he isn't getting out of jail any time soon.

So since Gloria Allred is Rocxanne Deschamps lawyer does this mean Rocxanne Deschamps is claiming to be a victim in this horror?

That makes me ill. She should know that when you are standing next to Gloria Allred, most people already know you are full of B.S.!

That's what I wondered also. Allred is usually a victim's advocate. Is Deschamps planning to sue the sheriff? Maybe..
Or has Deschamps been notified she's at risk of being liable for both boys' behavior?
I'm really surprised Allred took her case, or maybe she hasn't had time to research her background.
But Allred does like to pop into cases for publicity.

I have no clue what she can claim to be a victim of, but Allred likely did take her on for publicity.

When, in this country, did we start punishing our citizens for something they MIGHT do, or what people believed they might do, based on fear, bias, and a presumed guilt by association? Because that's how I see this. This is totally, totally wrong. His bail and whatever justice he is handed down need to fit the crime committed, not the crime investigators and community are afraid he possibly, might, may or could do. When they start doing that, we're all in trouble - this is akin to a modern day witch hunt.
This is the stuff supreme court cases are made of. Where are all the civil rights activists in this? They should be outraged. Wow, just, wow. This blows my mind. Something ain't right here. They have no right to prosecute him beyond the scope of the crime he is accused of, which is trespassing, not a future crime they fear he MIGHT commit because of who his brother is. And that is EXACTLY what's going on here.

Him showing up at the school wasn't something he "might do," it was something he did. Despite being told not to do it.

I would agree but I have a feeling there's more to the story than we know. Also, can you imagine the liability if the brother decides to do something similar to what his brother did?

1:40 p.m.

A judge has set bond at $500,000 for the younger brother of suspected school shooter Nikolas Cruz after he was arrested for trespassing at the Florida high school where 17 people were gunned down.

He is being held in the same jail where his 19-year-old brother is.

$500k seems a little harsh, doesn’t it? Maybe it’s best for him to be under supervision right now though.

That's why I said, something "ain't" right, because there could be more to the story than we know. I can only base my belief on what we're privy to in the media, and this is how it appears to me with the information at hand. I haven't heard he made any threats to the school, which is a crime. All I've heard is that he'd trespassed. That's the only crime he's been charged with that I've heard so far. If they're holding him for something he MIGHT do, I believe that's wrong.

Wow. Just wow. Maybe instead of worrying about spending tens of millions of dollars to demolish and rebuild one building, the school should invest in actual security guards who, ya know, do their job. Ridiculous. Whoever runs the show seems to have their priorities mixed up. JMO

LE gets burned out. They should have all kinds of interventions and schedules that let them not get so burned out. We want top performance, but we are not willing to pay for things that would help .

It can be that the policy was to put the old, horses out to,pasture. Easy job. School. Guess it is going to have to be younger officers. I don’t know what they will do with the burned out ones

My taxes are insane yet I’m glad to pay for quality security guards. If they are willing to spend $28million on reconstruction, they should be willing to spend money for proper security. Whether it’s LEO or private security guards. There is no excuse for falling asleep on the job, especially when you are responsible for the safety of 3,000 others. JMO
