“Through their two years of investigation, they have really shortened the persons of interest, and we are being told that it is a very short list at this point,” Drew said, according to ABC 7. “They also found more evidence that has never been tested.. Huge, who knows where that could

Glad to see some investigators who are taking this case seriously.

I started thinking that the poi was wearing a naval uniform but I am thinking of wrong. Maybe a security officer patrol officer?

i could see that. it's hard to really say since it's not the best quality, but other options i've thought of is a bakery/chef uniform or a painter's outfit.

if i was on the case, i would want to do good old fashioned boots on the ground investigation regarding the condo complex her car was parked at. IMO that is not a random location. We've seen it time and time again -- perpetrators work within areas they are familiar with, and return to familiar areas post-offense. No matter how psychopathic a person is, it is still stressful committing a crime and familiarity eases stress. I feel strongly that the person, or persons, responsible have some sort of acquaintance with that complex either through having lived there, worked there, or known people who lived there. Finding those ties would almost certainly be very difficult after all this time, but i don't think it's impossible.

This goes way back, and I don't want to derail the thought process, but that would be the purpose of planting the car somewhere, to point investigators to who in these apartments kidnapped Jennifer etc. A couple of things to keep in mind is that although a hike it is walkable back to Jennifer's condos and it is said that a dog indicated that happened. But more importantly in my opinion is that that corner is a crossways for buses. Catty corner there was even a covered bus shelter, and the POI was walking up the lane toward that corner.

Getting out of Dodge quickly while not beinig noticed is as important as planting the car. Was the POI familiar with the apartments, having driven and around a few times before? I would say yes. They drove in from a side street and past the pool, then parked at end of a sidewalk not trying to hide the car at all, then walked around the pool and up the lane toward the corner. Sort of the opposite of oh, here's a good place to hide the car. I find it doubtful that it was someone who didn't know about the crime.

I’ve wondered about that as well. Supposedly, it was common knowledge that those apts were full of illegal activity, including stolen vehicles. The POi could have found or been paid to move the car there for someone else. Would explain his very nonchalant walk back to the bus stop.
And my opinion on the video- young man wearing chinos and tee shirt with bowl cut haircut.

I find the hair interesting? It looks ruled up. Could this be a woman?

I also think this could be a woman with her hair in a bun or a short ponytail. And by pure statistics, as the height of the individual seen on CCTV footage was estimated to be between 5'3" and 5'5", it would be most probable to match a woman's height.

I don’t have any theory that outweighs one another, but I thought I’d point out the fact the average height of Hispanic men in the United States is only 5’7. With the range being around 5 feet to I believe a little under 7 feet(not 100% sure on this number, but it’s up there). Since some of the suspected theories include the Hispanic workers, I thought it was relevant. It could easily be a a Hispanic male.

I wish we could or LE could have tested hairdos, clothing, etc with the exact camera to see what looks most accurate at the same time the car was dropped off the day. Just for comparison.

I’ve noticed that the more people that are part of a crime, the harder it is to keep it under wraps. So, it makes me question how many did it take to get this job done so quickly? If you look at the time frame, it was rather quick. Then I ask, how has no one opened their lips? Maybe they’re dead. “Two can keep a secret if one of us is dead”.

Also, I was going back and forth on Reddit with someone about if you think the person who dropped off the car, knew what happened or had an idea of what could have taken place because they were so unbelievably calm, but my point is innocent people doing a friend a favor, don’t wipe their prints off?

And I’d like to think if the person was innocent and the friend/SO/family was like “When you drop off that car, make sure to wipe your prints off”, I’d hope that’d be a red flag to abort mission, but I’ve read crazier things over the years. Sadly.

The POI (who dropped the car off) could have been told to wipe it down because it was stolen. Not because its owner was killed. The apartment complex was known for criminal activity including stolen vehicles.
And, are we certain that POI was wiping down the car ? Could he have been making a phone call to alert someone of the car’s location?
All speculation and opinion from me…

Here’s the link and a screenshot of where I gathered the information from. In the same link it mentions the car point you just reminded me of. It wasn’t a great area.

I wonder if they looked into any prior arrests or investigations where people had abandoned stolen vehicles in that area or in the close surrounding area. Like you said it could be an individual who messes around with stolen vehicles. Whoever commits the crime and then they call the person they know can get rid of car.

I have wondered since they released the photos of the outside of her car, it wasn’t cleaned off at all it appears, if they were smart enough to wipe off the inside prints, why leave the outside looking like that??

I also wonder if they meant there was no prints at all within the car or if they meant there wasn’t any unfamiliar ones, but I haven’t been able to find an answer on that.

I have so many questions. At night I will sit there and just think about various questions and I swear it drives me mad. Lol. Especially with this case where all the information at some point has been misconstrued or the public‘s been given contradicting answers.
