One of the things that's always bothered me with their many lies is when SS 1st arrived. Both have said different days and times, Saturday Sunday, pm am. I can't think why they needed to lie about this because all versionsbut him in the house the night/day she died. As anyone got a theory on this?

How long was MS at her gma's? Just the day or the weekend?

SS said he was going to stay a week. Can't remember what JS said but I got a creepy feeling she was going to let him slither back in... maybe he got there on Saturday.... then pretended to arrive on Sunday.

Very peculiar that there was no straight answer for when he arrived (or why he was even there).

While I do not know for sure, here is what SS said about that:

Pg 30 of 896:

I then asked Stephan if it was normal for Maddie to not have her phone to which he replied Maddie was “severely ADHD," as is her mother and he. Stephan advised due to this it was not unusual for her to forget her phone. I asked Stephan if she was on medication for ADHD and he stated she normally took her medication but had not done so the week prior due to being at her grandparent’s residence most of the week, resulting in being “very spacey”

Gray Hughes did a show on the cell phone location pings from Feb 25,
It shows SS driving in from North Port on Sunday (25th) night, arriving at Maddi's place after her birthday party about 10 minutes after Maddi was dropped off by her aunt. At approximately 8:41 pm, it almost looked like he was stalling to arrive after she was dropped off. Maybe to avoid seeing family? because if he had a "clicker" and a key, he wouldn't have had to wait for Maddi to get home. He told cops he forgot his clicker, and he splits his time between north port and Kissimee, because he has to help his cranky kodger, poodle loving parents. (So he should have a key then right?) (At least that's what it looks like to me.)
The sneaky part:
SS was using CS phone and driving his dad's ( CS) vehicle. So its actually CS phone pings/ not Stephan's, but we know it's SS because he arrived at Jenn and Maddis the same time the phone pings put CS cell phone there.
heres the video

@Megnut
notice the morning of the 26th, after going to the school, he stops at the hotel, puts her in the trunk, and drives out towards Disney World.
Was he just scattered and driving aimlessly? Was he stalling, waiting for Jen to leave the house? Or were his plans to try to leave Maddi out there somewhere? Why do you think he went towards Disneyworld?

Maybe drive her past one of her favorite places. You know, like how he took her to McDonald's.

On a serious note... are there gater-infested lakes out there? Appears Lake Jesup has the most wild gaters, but Disney World isn't the most direct route from the home.

Just seems so odd to go there unless that's what SS was familiar with since he worked there. Another thing is someone's ex lives out that way, I wondered if Stephan was possibly going to leave Maddi there somewhere, trying to create a suspect. He didn't in the end, so it's kind of a moot point.

I think his brain is fried.

Driving around with a murdered child in the front seat -- that takes a special kind of fool.

Stopping in a hotel parking garage where there's sure to be cameras, to move a dead body -- fool's fool.

I think he may have been driving to another location because it made sense to his triple-fool brain but changed his mind -- something compelled him to return to the house. Unfathomable but he did it. Either he doubled back for some reason related to MS (left evidence he needed to clean up -- laundry, Anyone?) or related to JS (besides laundry, I don't know what...
MS's phone maybe... or his own? needed to reset it quick?).

Fool's errands.

Iirc LE asked him if he knew anyone out that way.

The flat tire stopped him in his tracks. If not for that, where should he have gone?

What are the odds of having a flat tire when you have a deceased child in your trunk at the exact time? Hate when that happens.

Intersection of bad luck and dumb as....

What hasn't he been charged with yet that you think he should be?

If OP is referring to the Madeline Soto case, Stephan Sterns has twice been arrested and charged for both CSAM and murder-- dating back to March 2024. Sterns is currently awaiting trial.

Love this post

I guess if he said he didn't know anyone out that way maybe he wasnt aware? and that answers my question, ( it wasn't in his plans,) who knows he's such a liar.

Another thing that is not really signifiicant but I've been listening to unredacted audio lately. Ive never heard jenn ever ask any of maddis friends if they met Maddi that morning ( b/c wasn't that the plan? ) she wanted to go early to see her friends, but Jenn calls maddis BFF to ask if she saw her in school today ? Not before. when hearing maddi never got to school, she says "what do you mean "we dropped her off close to the school."!!" that's what you call a statement disguised as a question.
to ask her friend what do you mean because we dropped her off, as if that has anything to do with anything ? except for planting seeds
So many little slip's and she is a seed planter also.
She said 5 or more times, she called 911, probably hoping to look like a loving mother , or when on her way to an interview with police about her missing daughter, she stops b/c she saw a baby " oh look at the little baby"
its just not real. or believable.,

she tries too hard to create an image of herself and it works against her. makes her look more manipulative,

The fact that this woman has never been charged with anything (how about neglect?), is quite maddening.

IMO means they either don't have anything to stick against her and know that or she's actively assisting in the case and they've agreed not to charge her.

Great observations, IMO.

This clip says, " Jennifer Soto expected to be a " crucial" witness for the prosecution in both trials". ( interesting, considering she says she didn't know anything)

this key witness crapola is why IMO she has not been charged with, at the very least, neglect. They want her as a cooperative state's witness. She will never be called to account by the judicial system for her almost pathological state of denial and for sending her sweet teen daughter to sleep with her own grown man child of a boyfriend. But the court of public opinion has already found her guilty, rightly so, IMO
