Just found a VOP for DS Sr. from 1982 on a petit theft charge. 60 days in jail. Looks like he appealed & it was denied.

A few IRS tax liens & a couple hospital liens.

Attempted agg batt in 1992
Battery 1996 (this could be DS Jr. I guess)

Dale Jr.: Domestic relations filing 1/31/2000 (AP)
Marriage 2/23/2000 (SC)
Dmestic relations 9/29/2003 (JV)
Dmestic relations 9/11/2009 (MP)
Dmestic relations 11/24/2009 (MP) could be a dismissal though

I didn't have time to look all of these up on the clerk of court website and until someone does an actual criminal history check using DOBs, none of this can be 100% accurate as to if they belong to Sr or Jr (or even another DS-there were several others w/o a middle initial).

I'm seeing stars so I'm off to bed. Praying to wake up to good news.

The divorce from Wife 1 was final on 1/27/2000. (He married wife #2 a mere ten days after divorce finalized from wife #1)

Also death of Wife 2 should read April 10th 2011 (not 2010), a little over a year after the marriage.

From reading the link posted above for the FL comptroller, it appears that DS Sr. has bought a fair amount of property over the years, all while living at his current address. Also has owned or owns several businesses. I certainly hope that LE has searched all of the properties that he owns.

I verified information regarding DWS, II's marriages. So we can all be on the same page, I'll post it here with links. It's all public information, but we are not going to post the wives' names. I believe Beach said earlier to refer to them as wife #1 and wife #2. Initials are okay, too.

Wife #1

DWS, II to AP - I can't find a marriage record in Florida, but the couple filed for divorce in Florida on 12/17/1999. Final dissolution, 01/27/2000.

So to end speculation on whether DS had anything to do with Shannon's death the answer is NO. He wasn't even in Florida the night she died. He loved that woman very much and to hear ya'll talk about her makes me sick. Yes he doesn't have a very good past but I am not going to sit here quietly while you make your comments about how second wife died. Her death has NOTHING to do with Michelle being missing.

Just so I'm clear. Is the forum he posted that message on a video game forum? Was he referring to his character in the game or was he talking about his real life? I think it's important to see what the discussion was in order to judge what that post means, imo.

Given everything else it looks bad, but I actually can't think of a guy in my close acquaintance that wouldn't make this joke. And a fair number of women would make a similar reference. Especially if they were already discussing Star Wars for some reason. I highly doubt a three year old Star Wars allusion is indicative of any great "plan" on DS's part. Heck, find my online persona is the last year and you'll find me threatening to sell my kids on eBay, smack my husband with my new frying pan, and eat the face of all children who annoy me. All made sense within context (said to people who know me, my situation, my sense of humour, and who share a background to get these jokes), but sound absolutely awful in a vacuum.


Edit- Just to explain for anybody not familiar with Star Wars. DS's outlined plan is Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader's journey in the prequel trilogy, or at least the last film. His wife is pregnant with twins (Luke and Leia, who are two of the main characters in the original series), Anakin turns to the dark side and becomes Darth Vader, his wife dies in childbirth for no damn reason except she loses the will to live. Literally. It's ridiculous, and the source of much joking amongst fans.

Others took it as a joke as well.

He obviously didn't murder the children nor did he murder Michelle while pregnant so I'll take that comment with a grain of salt.

I hope and pray he had nothing to do with Michelle's disappearance.

You seem to know Dale personally and I hope you understand that the partner is always looked at first when something tragic like this happens. Hopefully he will be cleared soon.

Thanks for the clarification Scooby and I had to laugh at your comments regarding your children. I did the same with my 21 year old son who p'd me off one day. I posted on facebook that I was selling him for $50 and if anyone bought him they got the cat for free. He laughed about it also.

I was about to post an explanation about the dying in childbirth crack, but I see another Star Wars nerd has posted already :wave: And yes, it's often discussed/ridiculed/joked about by fans. Heck just the other morning we ran late because my husband and I got in a major griping session about George Lucas and SW episodes I, II, and III.

But yeah, the "joke" is only seemingly sinister now that MP has disappeared. At the time he made it, it was probably nothing more than a typical guy joke amongst fellow SW nerds, referencing the Vader/Luke/Leia backstory.
