It's time to restrict internet usage. They allowed the internet to do too much damage. Especially since you can join others via internet with the purpose of causing harm.
There were no internet in 1933 to 1945, and people still joined movements to cause harm.

My mind has such a hard time trying to understand why all religions can't co-exist. I respect others beliefs as long as they are kind to other people. Is that too much to ask? I guess this question has been around for eons, and no answer yet. Humans are progressing with new technology, but humanity is regressing.

This was to well organized to have been planned over night so I don't think it is connected with Jahdi John's death.

Agree, completely. This would have taken several months to a year to coordinate and prepare.

<BBM for Focus>
Not sure that it would have taken a year to plan Montjoy, but I vaguely remember the headlines a couple of weeks ago about France halting their airstrikes against ISIS in Syria and Iraq. Thought this news peculiar when I heard it and wondered why, since they had been actively bombing for months. Guess, their intelligence may have known at that time of threats of retribution and an imminent terrorist attack on their homeland.

France launches air strikes against Islamic State in Syria

France said on Sunday it launched its first air strikes in Syria, destroying an Islamic State training camp in the east of the country to prevent the group from carrying out attacks against French interests and to protect Syrian civilians.

France had until now only struck Islamic State targets in neighboring Iraq, carrying out just 3 percent of air strikes in an offensive on the group by a U.S.-led coalition. France has also provided limited logistical support to Syrian rebels it considers moderate, including Kurds.

"France struck in Syria this morning an Islamic State training camp which threatened the security of our country," French President Francois Hollande told reporters on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

I think you summed it all up in a nut shell. I believe in the Bible and Jesus has taught me I need to love EVERYONE. I do not have accept everyone's opinion, but I am told I need to love EVERYONE despite their beliefs. Why is this so difficult for even the people who proclaim to have the same beliefs as I do to understand? I am so dang sad tonight.

My messages akwardly disappear here.

Freedom of speech is an important right, please respect.

So I think its ironic, that people who live in the cities are more liberal and tolerant, yet they are getting attacked.
Eventually some decisions need to be made, whether to continue with open border policy and accept terror as new normal, or do something about it.
Western response to these attacks can be described as panic while citzens lose more freedoms. Also maybe a intended outcome of jihad as it seeks dominance everywhere.
There is basically a martial law in Paris/France right now.

The ISIL group released an undated video on Saturday threatening to attack France if bombings of its fighters in the Middle East continued.

The group's foreign media arm, Al-Hayat Media Centre, made the threat through a man who called on French Muslims to carry out attacks.

"As long as you keep bombing you will not live in peace. You will even fear travelling to the market," said the bearded Arabic-speaking man, flanked by others.

Hollande: ISIS behind Paris attacks that were 'an act of war'

"As long as you keep bombing you will not live in peace. You will even fear traveling to the market," said the bearded Arabic-speaking militant, flanked by other fighters.

The video urged Muslims who are unable to travel to Syria to wage holy war to carry out attacks in France.

"Indeed you have been ordered to fight the infidel wherever you find him - what are you waiting for? There are weapons and cars available and targets ready to be hit," the militant said.

"Even poison is available, so poison the water and food of at least one of the enemies of Allah."

France decided to combat the small terror attacks by bombing ISIS in Iraq/Syria a couple of weeks ago. Allegedly some of the terrorists yelled "This is for Syria".

In addition France of course has a LOT of 2nd and 3rd generation Algerians that are often quite hostile towards the indigenous French.

why did they choose that retaurant ? I get the bigger ones , the cambodein one is wiered its really small. Caution: Lunesta in body - typing bad enought without Lunesta be aware ...........
I don't know but as I think the perpetrators most likely were of the "homegrown" variety, that is born in France with ancestry from former French colonies in the north of Africa, it's possible that they saw Cambodian (and Vietnamese) immigrants as enemies, as people from those countries seems to have had more success in becoming a part of the French society, while it's been more difficult for people from the Maghreb and the rest of Africa.

"A man arrested with firearms in his car by German police is being linked to the Paris terrorist attacks.

The arrest of a 51-year-old man in Bavaria last week could be connected to the explosions and shootings in the French capital.

Public broadcaster Bayrischer Rundfunk said German authorities informed French officials about the arrest of the man near the German-Austrian border on November 5. It did not provide a source for its information.

Bavarian state police spokesman Ludwig Waldinger confirmed that firearms, explosives and hand grenades were found."
