You could not make it up.

I am guessing the St Denis female was a French convert?
Female bomber's last words
An amateur recording obtained by TF1 appears to show the final exchange between policemen and the female suicide bomber shortly before she blew herself up, reports Henry Samuel in Paris.
Police can be heard shouting: "Where's your boyfriend?"
She screams: "He's not my boyfriend!"
Police once again shout: "Where is he?"
Then a hail of gunfire ensues.

I am proud that my governor has said no. It is foolish to open our cities to possible terrorists without any way of knowing if the people are truly refugees or terrorists posing as refugees.

5000 rounds were fired at the French cops during the siege.

One of them is saying that he has never seen, in his career, gun fire like it

Words are all we have; it's correct to call out loaded terms.

It's especially correct to call out "homeland," which echoes the German tripartite motto of the Vichy regime: "Travail, Famille, Patrie." Fatherland and homeland are synonyms. Long live Liberté, égalité, fraternité.

Hmmm wfgodot, recently, rarely have I heard homeland, without its accompaniment auslander.

edit - it's not ISIS fighters fleeing Raqqa, it's their wives & kids who are heading for the safety of Mosul

meanwhile the residents are NOT allowed to leave ( human shield)
Activists with wide contacts in Raqqa said the militants are barring any civilians from leaving the city in a continuation of a policy – introduced a month ago as pressure intensified from the Americans’ Kurdish allies – that only allows individuals with serious medical conditions to leave after receiving a one-week Islamic law course.

http://www.theguardian.com/world/20...fied-airstrikes-raqqa-activists-paris-attacks

The group, however, has continued to use human shields and precautions that have been in place in the past, including placing command centres in civilian neighbourhoods and hiding their vehicles among locals. An activist from Raqqa told Associated Press that to avoid being hit in their bases, the fighters have moved into empty homes in residential neighbourhoods abandoned by people who fled the city earlier, and have been ordered only to use side streets to avoid drones, following last week’s killing of the British jihadi Mohammed Emwazi.

Isis is also using individuals convicted of various minor offences to carry out work on the front and even to fight, as a way to bolster its ranks amid increasing pressure, Ramadan said.

EODM issue first statement since Paris terror attacks:

http://www.theguardian.com/music/20...ssue-statement-following-paris-terror-attacks

facebook:
https://www.facebook.com/eaglesofdeathmetal/?fref=ts

While the band is now home safe, we are horrified and still trying to come to terms with what happened in France. Our thoughts and hearts are first and foremost with our brother Nick Alexander, our record company comrades Thomas Ayad, Marie Mosser, and Manu Perez, and all the friends and fans whose lives were taken in Paris, as well as their friends, families, and loved ones.
Although bonded in grief with the victims, the fans, the families, the citizens of Paris, and all those affected by terrorism, we are proud to stand together, with our new family, now united by a common goal of love and compassion.
We would like to thank the French police, the FBI, the U.S. and French State Departments, and especially all those at ground zero with us who helped each other as best they could during this unimaginable ordeal, proving once again that love overshadows evil.
All EODM shows are on hold until further notice.
Vive la musique, vive la liberté, vive la France, and vive EODM.

********

Vive EODM

Just reported - Oil supply strikes - cut ISIS income by a third

"Air strikes have hit at least 177 targets in Isis’ main oil-producing region inthe last month, Reuters reports, as the US, France and other nations ramp up bombing runs in Syria and Iraq.Air strikes have hit at least 177 targets in Isis’ main oil-producing region inthe last month, Reuters reports, as the US, France and other nations ramp up bombing runs in Syria and Iraq.
Air strikes last year against targets such as mobile refineries had cut the group’s oil revenues from $3m a day to under $1m a day, according to Reuters. The extremists also rely on blackmarket antiquities, extortion and taxation to fund their war and terror campaigns"
This targetting started 22 October - not just this week

He's a boy and he's my friend, but he's not my boyfriend!

....... didn't it make you laugh? Enough explosives to make the block collapse strapped around her and she is quibbling on definitions like a teenage girl.

As i said - total loony tunes - we'll hear a lot more about her in the coming days for sure

Many years ago a man that I have known all my life and respect greatly siad something that I found to be strange. He said "If you are young and are not liberal, you have no heart. If you are mature and are not conservative, you have no brain." He then went on to explain that we need both but we must be cautious of how we act. At the time I was liberal in my thoughts and beliefs. Now I am much more conservative. His words that astuck with me all these years have proves rather prophetic.

I wonder if the people of Paris will still be accepting their quota of Syrian refugees?

I'll try and find out.

I know we are all "bigging up " Putin at the moment, but let's not completely forget that he has his own political ambitions for this area and wishes to strengthen his position in the Middle East.

Unlike the western leaders of course .. ;)

I noticed that Delaware has not had any refugees settled in the state so far. Why not? Other states have already accepted refugees in their states.

I'm sorry, but I'm a bit confused. Where did you see this? I might be looking at the wrong article. The link I followed said Delaware took in children of families who immigrated illegally, and resettled refugees who arrived via other states.

HOW TO STOP ISLAMIC TERRORISTS . . . it worked once in our History . . .

Once in US history an episode of Islamic terrorism was very quickly stopped. It happened in the Philippines about 1911, when Gen. John J. Pershing was in command of the garrison. There had been numerous Islamic terrorist attacks, so "Black Jack" told his boys to catch the perps and teach them a lesson.

Forced to dig their own graves, the terrorists were all tied to posts, execution style. The US soldiers then brought in pigs and slaughtered them, rubbing their bullets in the blood and fat. Thus, the terrorists were terrorized; they saw that they would be contaminated with hogs' blood. This would mean that they could not enter Heaven, even if they died as terrorist martyrs.

All but one was shot, their bodies dumped into the grave, and the hog guts dumped atop the bodies. The lone survivor was allowed to escape back to the terrorist camp and tell his brethren what happened to the others. This brought a stop to terrorism in the Philippines for the next 50 years.

Pointing a gun into the face of Islamic terrorists won't make them flinch. They welcome the chance to die for Allah. Like Gen. Pershing, we must show them that they won't get to Muslim heaven (which they believe has an endless supply of virgins) but instead will die with the hated pigs of the devil.

It worked in 1911, of course that was before everybody became politically correct and sensitive to the "feelings" of our modern terrorists.

I say we try it again..............

Even simpler just throw bloody "pig bombs" out of airplanes.
If this worked, it would be great!!
However, I'm sure Dick Cheney would have tried it. Problem is terrorists aren't particularly religious.
