Cross examination coming after a 1o min recess

Oooh boy. What do we think is going to happen?
Is he going to get angry when confronted?
Crying not because he feels bad but because he doesn’t like being called out?

I’m hoping for spontaneous combustion, right there, live on the stand.

If he was so scared why didn’t he get back in his truck and continue to follow AA like he had been doing .
And if so scared why didn’t he say dad get back in the truck .

I want to know this. TM says AA was keeping pace with the black truck. Why was the truck driving SO SLOW that AA could "keep pace" with it???

Because my common sense tells me that if the truck wasn't intentionally going slow, AA had to be running about 25 mph.

"I asked him to please stop. He looked mad. His brow was furrowed. It wasn't what I expected...."
As a woman, years ago I was once stalked and clearly pursued by one man in a car while I was out alone for an afternoon walk (no one outside in their yards on that weekend). He used his vehicle to try and block me into an area where I was alone, then tried to close in. I was able to evade the pursuit by scrambling through ditches between multiple subdivisions. Being intentionally chased down by someone in a vehicle is a shockingly dehumanizing feeling which returns to me when I watch the video from this case. I still can vividly recall his expression turning from frustration to rage as I evaded him, and I can still vividly recall my emotions being a blend of both terror and furious outrage. I was p*ssed off at being treated like an animal to be hunted down. I'm not a bit surprised that AA would have "looked mad" at these 3 treating him that way.

I hear activity, they are coming back.

State intends to ask TM if he made the statement containing the expletive (F****** N****) defense wants to prohibit the state from asking that question. for the record he has to ask. We didn't open the door by trying to elicit character testimony about TM for just this reason.

He is asking if they opened the door in the court's opinion so they can try to discern if state will ask that specific question.

State won't go there today but may tomorrow. Wants time to consider if she wants to do so or not before answering that.

all agree, witness is about to be crossed by state.

Wow. Sorry you went through that but glad you didn't get hurt or worse by that criminal.

I have often asked what would this case be if AA was a female. Would this be acceptable AT ALL to anyone?

@MarilynParkerTV

Leigh McMichaels is in tears. Frank Houge comes over to comfort her. We can see Greg McMichael wiping his eyes. Kevin Gough comes over to Leigh McMichael to tell her to hang in there. Wanda Cooper-Jones is sitting quietly in the back row.

you testified under oath that you aren't going to chase or try to interfere with someone who is armed right? yes

state bringing up KB and the FB post about stolen purse. Do you recall posting in response to that? Your post in response was "playing with fire on this side of the neighborhood"? Yes.

Wait. I thought we can't have stuff like that in the gallery?

the info you had was incomplete and then you began making assumptions about who was responsible right? Yes.

TM proceeds to describes AA's activities in the neighborhood as "brazen".

  • #593
This is insane. They stop the truck and make themselves "sitting ducks" to a person they think has a gun? They branish their guns, and he's coming back and they don't think he's going to pull a gun? Then he in fact does NOT pull a gun, and they are still afraid?

I'm sorry, but this story is full of crap.

TM - probability is that this is the guy

are you aware that Rash met with your father and had told him that English suspected contractors of thefts from his boat.

Mom told me stuff was stolen off the boat and that there had been people in that house. I knew several people had been at that house during that time when the theft occurred.

TM twisting hard to explain why AA was his main suspect despite multiple persons accessing that unsecured property.

State bringing up the ATM incident. The persons involved were black? Yes. Carjacking incident? White.

And you didn't report this. I called a sheriff friend and they checked it out for me. (MOO: more entitlement - we need no reports or proper channels we call friends, much like we called Jackie Johnson, whose name will never be featured in THIS trial.)

you were armed when you encountered shady looking white possibly homeless guy under the bridge? Yes.

You didn't show him your guns? no

you took it upon yourselves to go ahead and "investigate" it right? Yes.

Travis doesn't lie quickly enough on his feet to fare well on cross. He's already flailing & she hasn't even begun to take her gloves off.

Now my husband and one year old are home... I'm never going to hear this! Please keep posting!!

Oh, Lord. You might have to put on ear phones and fall asleep listening to it later. Good luck!

I'm just now at the "port arms" part.

Lol. My husband is absolutely sneering that Travis, 9 years on in the CG, still had the same lowly rank of E-4.

TM said that if AA had run into the yard at the supposed first time he pulled the shotgun, TM would have "Let him" go on by like he "let him" go by other times. Sickening.
