Perez checked her cameras. Later she saw pics Renee had posted. State asks if Ofc. Rash followed up and told them it was a white guy behind that theft. She says no.

Jack Brinson, a Satilla Shores neighbor, takes the stand. His son-in-law is a detective with Glynn Co. Police. He became aware of crime in area about 6 years ago after a car break-in. His wife is on the FB page and they discuss what she sees about crime.
Is he aware of thefts in Larry English's home? Brinson says yes, and a dollar amount. Matt Albenze was one who told him, maybe others: "Word gets around." Discussed it w/family. They then replaced their fake-cam system with real cameras.
Annabelle Beasley, another Satilla Shores neighbor. She's lived there since '94. Sube Lawrence is her daughter, and neighbor.
She's known Diego Perez since he was a boy in Sunday School. Years later when she learned he was buying a home across the street, she said, "What a blessing." After recent "unnerving" happenings in neighborhood, she got security cameras.
Once when she was in China, her unlocked Honda in the driveway was burglarized--door left open, ransacked. Daughter didn't report it to police. Previously a Jeep had been burglarized and police told that person, "You should've locked your door."
She's not aware of kids "borrowing" wood from English's house. At some point, her grandkids became too scared to play outside. State objects when she talks about "what they saw." Lawyers trying to avoid hearsay. "We didn't want them to encounter anything"
Even today kids rarely go outside. But they can if mom/grandmom is home. Paul Camarillo gets up for cross. He & Beasley have a pleasant exchange. They've had a long convo before. She says other than the homicide of #AhmaudArbery, violent crimes were few & far between.
