The MM property actually sits at the beginning of a slight bend in the road, which puts it's out further than the English property.

Whatever trees, vehicles, trash cans were in the line of site between the MM property and the English property are subjective. There's no way any of us could know that any of those objects were in his line of sight that day.

If TM was in his yard near the sidewalk, he could easily see the English property IMOO because his property sits further out than the English property.

My property sits in a similar fashion to the MM property, except on a slightly broader curve.
I can easily see the 10th house down the street.

I would easily be able to see someone in yard, however, I couldn't tell you if they were male, female, black or white. But I could easily tell that there was a person there.

To say that there is "no line of site" is simply unfounded atm. It's possible that there will be some media forthcoming that shows a view from the MM house to the English property.

I think the neighbor standing across the street while Arbery was in English's house may have contacted them. jmo

Father and son accused of killing Ahmaud Arbery 'are isolated away from other prisoners' | Daily Mail Online

It seems to be standard procedure for former or current law enforcement officers to be kept separate from other inmates.

Very possible.
In what form of communication though?
Did he call them? Did he yell "Hey, get out of that house"! Did he text them?

If that guy yelled at AA and TM was in his front yard, he could have heard him easily.

The line of site from the MM house to the guy across the street from the English property is clear, with no obstructions whatsoever.

Sounds like charges for premeditation can now be added

And maybe stalking

And violation of civil rights
My guess is that the prosecutors are going to lovingly apply the KISS concept and focus only on that:

- Trespassing is not a felony, any citizens arrest was not lawful and cornering the deceased who was obviously leaving the area with drawn weapons give him reasonable fear of his life.

In the end, AA was not confronted simply for being black while walking down the road. Rather he had apparently trespassed on several occasions.

Likewise the property he trespassed was not say, an empty field with a commonly used cut through path (I have one of those). Rather, he was entering a home increasingly nearing completion.

My bet is that Georgians are sensitive about homes, even if not fully completed, and entry by strangers- especially when the stranger has a previous weapons violation.

In short, my guess is that the prosecution presents AA simply as a as a trespasser who was then criminally victimized. Mixing in a hero like status from claimed civil rights violations could alienate the jury.

Yes ... at all times, the camera focusing on AA, not the McMichaels. No shocked expletives, no OMGs ... just silent, steady videotaping of one of the most traumatic things an individual can witness.
If the McMichaels are guilty of felony murder, it looks to me like Bryant is guilty of something too.

Yes, phone, text or voice. Or M's may have seen Arbery themselves. Idk. I do think, though, that one way or another, they knew that Arbery had been in the English's house (yet again, if you believe Perez)

Why couldn't they have been aware of the gun charge? It was in the local news and Sr. was in LE at the time.

As far as the creeping, I'm just going on the parts of the OP I quoted. Perez says Abery was the guy who was on the construction site multiple times. jmo
I was referring to the claim that Arbery had recently been in the neighborhood carrying a gun.

The gun charge was when he was a teenager, about seven years ago, so I wouldn't consider that to be a reason to believe he would be carrying a gun around in the neighborhood or at the construction site.

As far as I can tell, Perez said he saw Arbery trespassing twice, once on the 11th, and again on the day he was murdered.

Imo

Why? Unless the law has changed (which it very well may have), Bryant wouldn't have a duty to do anything and no law would prevent him from video'ing it.

It was TM who supposedly saw Arbery at the English's house with what he thought to be a gun on Feb 12th. So the M's actually may have known of two separate occasions where AA was known to have illegally carried a gun (the first at the HS and the second a concealed carry at English's house). jmo

I don't remember them ever saying they saw him with a gun. He said he reached in his pants or waistband or something like that. That's hardly evidence that he had a gun in his pants, or that he has ever carried one anytime in the last seven years. Jmo

Great catch about the address of GM! I thought he lived on Satilla Drive.

Looks like they were at Travis' home (report shows his address as Satilla Drive).

I'm also wondering about the different addresses. In the police report GM said he "went to his bedroom and grabbed his .357 ..."
I don't think that is TM on the phone. It's the guy we see in the security camera that records AA entering 220 Satilla Dr. I believe the person on the phone is standing across the street as AA looks around the construction site.

How could TM be on the phone witnessing a trespass when his home was 5 doors down?

TM wasn't witnessing any trespassing, and from the sounds of it, neither was GM. GM said he was in his front yard when he saw AA "hauling 🤬🤬🤬 down Satilla toward Burford ... he then ran inside his house and called to Travis". Nothing to say that either of them actually saw AA inside the home or even on the property. He was hauling his butt down Satilla, not inside the home.

Police Report

I think their information is flawed, like much in the initial investigation. How is it possible that TM was actually watching AA in the house when GM states in the incident report that he runs into the house and yells to TM that the trespasser is running down the street. Those two narratives are contradictory.
Yes, those narratives contradict each other. I find information from a credible reporter obtained through official channels to be more reliable than what GM says when he obviously needs to spin a story in his favor.

Well, they're going to say they believed he had a gun on 2/12. So that's likely what will be going to the jury - not as a fact, but as their belief. jmo

FWIW. Made 2 calls to Glynn Co. Georgia.

1. Victim-LO means "lesser" of multiple/more than one victim listed in the police report.

2. Georgia public access law governs what the 911 section of a PD department is allowed to release. The name of those who call 911 is NOT released, for privacy reasons.

The 911 communications manager I spoke to personally replied to many of the great many media requests for access to the 2 calls made that day. He (and every other peep there) sent out the EXACT same thing: 2 separate recordings & transcripts, one set for each call, with written notification on each that the name of the caller had been redacted.

And for good measure, he also included a copy of the governing public access law.

Here's a picture of the 4th prosecutor on the case:

Joyette Holmes

When the news announcement came out that Joyette Holmes would be heading up the prosecution in this case, I searched for information about her.

I am always interested to learn about all of the lawyers who will be involved in a trial, including the judge.

Throughout D.A. Holmes' experience as a lawyer (had her own law firm), a Magistrate and a District Attorney, she has received excellent commendations for her work in the law as well as her vast community work.

About the District Attorney | Cobb County Georgia

Judge Holmes is a servant leader in her community, and I am very excited to select her as Cobb’s new District Attorney,” Gov. Brian Kemp said in his announcement. “I know Joyette will put the safety of Cobb families first and always do the right thing—even when no one is watching.”

Who Is Joyette Holmes, The New Prosecutor In The Ahmaud Arbery Case?

"In January of 2020, the Marietta Daily Journal named her citizen of the year, calling her an "outstanding public servant."

It is a death, it should be exactly clear who saw what, did what, called who etc.

I agree, standing out on his curb GM could see the English front yard. Did he?

I am just not seeing what you are saying.

500 feet away with all those shrubs and trees?

Yeah, the only thing there is, I question the 'reliability' of the source.

Personal question, though. Did you watch the entire security cam video across the street, even the parts where 'nothing' happened? Did you see the guy standing under the trees while AA was in the construction site? Did you notice the time stamp that GCPD logged the call about an intruder? It was about a minute BEFORE AA entered the premises (at 2:13:54). The unknown person walked down Jones St and stood under the trees until after AA left the premises and ran toward the MM's residence. That was around 2:13:54. At around 2:15:20 you see a white truck in the upper left hand corner of the screen leaving what appears to be the MMs house and driving away from the construction site following AA's progress. TM couldn't be in two places at once: at home and witnessing a trespasser at the same time. The only thing that makes sense is that the unknown individual called the MMs as well. Funnily enough on the incident report there is an individual who lives on Jones Rd who is listed as a 'witness' to AAs death.

The report was GM was out in the yard, correct?
If he actually was and he was near the sidewalk, he'd be looking down a possible empty street.

Obviously if he was in the house like you are depicting in your picture, there would be no way.

I'm sure it will be, eventually.
