The numbers are really something - overwhelming yes votes to almost every charge. Could potentially foreshadow what a trial jury may conclude. (Every charge is 19 or 20 Yes votes to 1 or 2 No.)

I didn't count it myself but msnbc is reporting that 21 people were recommended for indictment but ultimately weren't. Remember the indictment states there are 30 undindicted co-conspirators so a handful of people are missing from this report. (A couple of defendants have filed motions to have the unindicted co-conspirators names but I don't think that motion will be granted. It's standard DOJ protocol that unindicted people aren't named publicly with few caveats.)

Grand Jury recommended Jacki Pick be indicted. I didn't recognize her name.

"Jacki Pick, a Trump lawyer and podcast host, had accused election workers of pulling suitcases filled with fraudulent ballots out from under a table at State Farm Arena in November 2020 during a presidential election recount. But state officials confirmed the suitcases were actually sealed ballot containers that were placed properly."

There are a handful of folks not indicted that have A LOT of communication with defendants so I think we're actually looking at a prelimary witness list for the State incuding Cleta Mitchell and Kurt Hilbert.

Also 39 were recommended for indictment on RICO alone. By my count 16 ultimately were indicted. The Alternate Slate of electors though the numbers dramatically shift - 9Y, 9N which may be a reason they weren't indicted (Loeffler & Graham too the numbers shift). JMO

And Loeffler pretty much bought her temporary Senate seat imo. (She was a HUGE Trump donor.)

Regarding Clete Mitchell's involvement in Trump's "perfect phone call," the Grand Jury vote was unanimous YES on four counts, and split 12Yes/5No on two counts.

Since she wasn't indicted, does that mean she cooperated and is a witness or that indictment could still be coming? Or, simply dropped from the investigation?? idk

I followed Georgia politics when Stacy Abrams ran several years ago and I'm not from Georgia, so I understand following happenings in other places.

I do think she's cooperating. If she isn't, she may well be indicted by Jack Smith who I believe is quite strategically waiting on indicting anyone else until the case against Trump is so mature it can't be consolidated.

I don't know why else though Georgia wouldn't indict other than to say there's always an aura of mystery around charging decisions because so many variables go into making them and rarely are we allowed to look behind the curtain. JMO

More number crunching.

Looking at "big number" of NO votes, I chose "big" as 4 votes or above. With that made-up criterion the only "big" NO votes were in regard to national efforts to overthrow the election.

Lindsey Graham: 7 NO votes
Kelly Loeffler: 6 NO votes
Scott Hall: 4 NO votes (he was indicted for other charges)

11 people also received 8-9 NO votes for national efforts to overthrow election.

All other votes received a "small number" of NO votes, which I arbitrarily defined as 1, 2, or 3.

Kemp had fallen out of Trump's favor during the first year of Covid, I think? So much has happened the past few years it's hard to keep track. But yeah, he has stepped up as far as this craziness goes, and I respect him for that.
And funny thing, we moved from Florida to Georgia about thirty years ago and have seen a ton of changes in both states, some good, some bad, and some just plain bananas, but FL takes the cake.

Many of the votes are either unanimous or nearly so but that means that 19-20 Grand Jurors believed Giuliani is as culpable as Trump is as culpable as Meadows is as culpable as Sidney Powell.

So the Special Grand Jury certainly didn't feel the key players were any less culpable than the kingpin. And now that the report has been released, we may start seeing people attempt to cut deals. I'd imagine the unanimity of those numbers is going to be cause for concern.
