The real CB came as a huge shock to many of his acquaintances. Only those who shared his familiarity with the criminal underbelly where they and he supplemented their legitimate income with the proceeds of crimes had an inkling of his true character. Even at that some of those who discovered what he was really all about were shocked enough to do the unthinkable and tell the police about him.

Why do you think there is evidence that anyone is "framing" CB for his life of crime which he started indulging at a very young age and actively pursued until he was arrested in the act of committing one of the offences for which he is currently on trial. At a time when there was a European Arrest Warrant out for his arrest for crimes involving a minor.
He was serving time for that offence when he was convicted of the aggravated rape of DM. CB is a prolific offender against females of all ages.

Indeed he probably is a monster from past convictions, but he's not on trial for previous convictions which seems to overlooked by some.

Agreed , criminals have a code of ethic to a certain point. However when it’s rape and assaults against children it’s not all surprising that their loyalties change. It was interesting to hear from CB girlfriend Marina , she was obviously close enough to CB at the time that he trusted her enough to oversee what was taken and saved from the Yellow House .

The criminal backgrounds and years substance abuse of his chums, makes them less reliable than the average Joe. What confirms their unreliability is their inconsistent stories and willingness to sell stories to the media.

Let’s be honest, MS struggles more than Joe Burden to get a sentence out. HeB clearly has an axe to grind with CB and he is a convicted human trafficker. And then there is CP who currently lives in Cambodia under an alias.

Hardly a trio you would consider to marry your daughter!

Six former lovers are to give evidence against CB, who is facing a rape trial.
The German sex offender is accused of a trio of rapes, which he allegedly filmed...

A total of 46 witnesses – including the former girlfriends – have been summoned for the trial at Braunschweig Criminal Court between February 16 and June 27.

According to the schedule, which is spread over 29 days, three women will take to the stand including his first lover, Silke Becker, on April 10.

Some of CB's former girlfriends will be among the many who have been called to give evidence in court.

Nor will it be a first for the German system to cope with testimony given by an important witness who is unable to attend the actual court, as in CB's trial for aggravated rape in 2019.

Definitely, and the things people do when they are younger, doesn't mean they do the same when older, however CB seems to of continued with his extremely dodgy ways

He can’t remember how old the victim was or if CB was in the footage or not. I have nothing against the guy but he’s not a good witness.

He probably can't even remember his own name most days... These guys were on a clean up mission for CB they are as criminal as him and I bet were involved in some way

CB actually brought up the muscular term during the DM trial , DM also said he spoke English with a foreign accent. CB argued that his accent was faultless due to his many interactions with English people . I agree he is not muscular in terms of shape but you can still be lean and muscle definition.

Thinking HeB and MS must be very worried that Christian B gets released and that in itself is motive for false testimony, they got caught at the last session they had been on the phone just before the court case... I don't think that looks good at all

Really clever of police to identify that single incriminating hair from among all the other hairs (animal and human) that must have been in the property.
PJ must have been very thorough to have done that and not the bumbling police force of popular portrayal.

They also missed one of HB nails left in the bed and disposed of other evidence. It was only good fortune that the DM conviction prompted HB to come forward. Also unsolved by the PJ was the Salema beach assault 3 weeks before Madeleine went missing that wasn’t even investigated , even though the family went out of their way to go to Portimao to report it before they went back to Germany .

I realise they'd had dropped the case, but to have the forensic material in the first place for the Germans to pick up on was fortuitous in the extreme. It could so easily have been discarded.
In fact, given the the Portuguese had dropped the case, I find it very surprising that they had still retained the material at all.

CB is the prisoner in the dock.

His former acquaintances are witnesses against him whose information has already been proven to the satisfaction of the German court. Allowing justice to be served for one rape survivor and her rapist to be imprisoned for seven years thus safeguarding other women and children.

The point you make has therefore been substantiated according to law in the 2019 trial and reinforced by CB's failed appeal. An appeal not against his aggravated rape conviction but against a procedural matter.

CB's former acquaintances have absolutely no input into the evidence regarding three of CB's current indictments for alleged serious offences against women and children.

These charges reflect a period covering from 2004 until his arrest in flagrante delicto in 2017.
