Today Brueckner's defense team were given a USB said to contain child abuse images from the German FBI, the BKA. The data storage was uncovered at the paedophile’s box factory lair when he was named as a suspect in 2020 - but prosecutors resisted handing it over for years. Brueckner’s lawyers are fighting for the images it contains to be ruled out of use in the trial. Defender Dr. Friedrich Fülscher demanded in process, that evidence brought up by the prosecutor against Brückner must not be used. Specifically, it is about two Word files that were found on a USB stick of the accused.
Trial continues on Thursday, March 14, 2024 @ 11am.

That explains a few things. There is no story, the police visited a house, that’s it until JC gets onto it.

Love the below quote from HCW - like a comedian who will only tell the punchline; not the joke!

We don’t need to hear from the prosecutors, the witness will sell their story to MSM for a six-pack of Stella next week.

The publication contacted Mr Wolters for comment. He said: “We do not comment on possible witnesses or other details regarding the investigation into the Maddie case.”

Der Spiegel in Germany

This is a good clip, thanks for sharing.

I find the mother/police woman who has put her child on camera for a few quid a disgrace.

Is there anyone, other than DS (if he exists) and maybe BP, connected to this case who hasn’t sold their story?

NF, DF, AB, MT, HeB, MS, CP etc. shows what kind of people they are… court one day; front page the next!

And, even so, still nothing… absolutely zero substantive in relation to MM.

The mail are running the Post story he thinks CB is odd? yep that'll convict him.

Friend of Christian Brueckner describes the Madeleine McCann suspect's child and animal 🤬🤬🤬🤬 collection as he tells sex assault trial he thought the German was 'odd'

In relation to MM

Under cross examination from Brueckner's lawyer Friedrich Fulscher, Post said he had given media interviews on his relationship with the man German police say is the 'prime suspect' for 'snatching and murdering Madeleine.'

But he added: 'I didn't say it was him but I can indeed say that I think it could be him but these are assumptions based on no evidence.'

What's he there for if his testimony is not based on any evidence ?

What is the order of prosecutions, what part does this and the previous witness play in it ?

Ithink the judges decide the order of witnesses, not the prosecution.

No mention of this Ralph H before and also I see the search was last Wednesday, news travels slow it seems.
There was no mention of CB until he was found guilty of aggravated rape in the first of the series of the crimes against women for which he has been charged and is currently on trial.

Snip
Armed officers surrounded a home, belonging to a 56-year-old man known only as Ralph H, just outside Braunschweig on Wednesday last week, according to The Sun.

Ralph is believed to be a long-time friend of Brueckner and acted as an accomplice to his crimes, admitting to robbing homes with the 47-year-old.
...
A detective from Germany’s federal investigative agency, the Bundeskriminalamt (BKA), said police needed to “urgently” speak with Ralph regarding his relationship with Brueckner.
...

“He’s not at home, he doesn’t answer the phone, he’s apparently disappeared.”

Neighbours said Ralph hadn’t been seen for almost a week and they had no idea when, or even if, he would return home.

Today's reporting from Braunschweig. Just from a brief read, it doesn't seem like much really happened? The only new bit I can see is ref to this Michael T? Is he a new name? Or just one I've missed? Anyway, he's apparently considered an important witness who will feature further in this trial.

B. was caught by the police in April 2006 together with the Austrian Michael T. while siphoning diesel from a truck. Both ended up in custody. They were released in December 2006. In 2020, T. commented on B. in an interview with the English newspaper “Sun” and said that he was “a good burglar” and could easily climb up to the upper floors of houses. “He stole everything he could get – valuables, passports, watches,” Michael T. is quoted as saying. He is considered an important witness, including in the Maddie case. He will be heard as a witness at a later date in the ongoing rape trial against Christian B.

Hasn't it been said previously that he had a friend, that some thought was his brother, as they looked similar, and he had green eyes, wonder if this could be him ?

The article started in the sun, JC is one of the authors.
Google translate.

So the “Sun” report definitely has it all. The tabloid also quotes Braunschweig public prosecutor Hans Christian Wolters: “He is a neighbor who it could be interesting to talk to,” he is said to have told the “Sun”. When asked by News38, the whole thing sounded a little different. Wolters emphasized that he did not say that to the Sun. As always, the Braunschweig public prosecutor's office is not commenting on its investigation into Maddie's case, Wolters said. But he added: “Regardless, I am not aware of any deployment. I can rule out that there are currently any high-profile operations in the Maddie case.”

This thing about 'armed police', aren't German police, like most continental police forces, routinely armed ?

Indictment backs in the trial of Maddie suspects
:
Did he tend to a Knacki two rapes?
From: KAI FELDHAUS
03/14/2024 - 8:43 pm
Braunschweig - Day four in the trial against Christian Brückner (47), and again there was a riot. Now the prosecutors are backing!
The two prosecutors commented on defense requests. And made heavy accusations against the lawyers of the man who is said to have kidnapped and murdered little Maddie McCann (then 3) in 2007.

Defender Dr. Friedrich Fülscher (39) had requested that two texts written by the defendant and found on a USB stick during a search in 2016 not to be allowed as evidence. The reason for the search was fake in order to find evidence in the Inga case. In addition, a file was only created four days after securing the USB stick.
According to Chief Prosecutor Vanessa Beyse, the search was necessary: On the defendant's property, it stank after decay. The police officers would not have known whether they would find human or animal remains.
In fact, they dug out Brückner's dead dog - and a Lidl bag with data carriers, on it child 🤬🤬🤬🤬 and the controversial texts. "Undoubtedly pure coincidence," says Beyse.

The public prosecutor's office requested that all applications of the defenders Dr. Fülscher (r.) and Prof. Bock (l.) to reject
The accusation that the text file was only created after the seizure really got the prosecutor's attention.
The defense meant "seriously that after the seizure some official invented the story and put it on the USB stick". In fact, Brückner had the text in which a first-person person fabulates how he kidnaps mother and daughter and abuses them in the most disgusting way, years before in his e-mail inbox. The accusation of defense is a "consciously defamatory and defamatory claim of state investigative authorities".

Brückner's defender Dr. Friedrich Fülscher (39), for his part, rejected the accusation that he had accused police officers of having written the text. He was concerned with the date of creation of the file, not the text itself.
There was also an explosive response to a second request from the defense.

The defense wanted to hear an expert as a witness who doubts an expert opinion from 2019.
In it, a hair on the bed of the raped American Diana M. (then 72) had been assigned to the defendant, which earned him seven years in prison. The public prosecutor's office rejected an interrogation of the witness - and quoted from the statement of an ex-crackis who was in custody with Brückner. He claims that Brückner had in prison about two rapes he committed in Portugal. One of them was a woman about 70 years old.

And the prosecutors rejected two more motions from the defense.
An ex-BKA official who wants to have been squeated by Brückner's cell, and also Chief Prosecutor Beyse herself cannot be heard as a witness, according to prosecutor Ute Lindemann. Both facts have nothing to do with the current trial - but with the investigation into the Maddie case. With the application, the defense "only wants to investigate whether there were investigative measures in other proceedings, the result of which the defense would like to know," says prosecutor Ute Lindemann.
The court must now decide on the applications. The trial will take place on the 3rd. April and should last until the end of June. As a precaution, Judge Uta Inse Engemann asked all parties involved to name free dates by the end of October. »

That is very interesting ! CB had saved such texts in his email?!?! And the search was not illegal it appears! Also he boasted to a cell mate about the rapes? Very enlightening article for a change

So basically the day was taken up by legal arguments it's now for the court to decide what evidence is to be heard.
