Caroline Family Lawyer: "Grandma Can't Take Lydia for a Walk - If the Cameras Are Not Removed From Home I Will File Safeguards"

The lawyer of Caroline's family, Thanasis Harmanis, in his statements to Newsbeast states that if the (many) cameras outside the house of Caroline's family in Alonissos are not withdrawn immediately, he will be forced to file precautionary measures.

According to Mr. Harmanis, the 24-hour presence of the television networks outside the house in Alonissos has created a suffocating condition for the family which at the moment seeks more than anything else peace and respect for its mourning.

"Journalists and channels must leave the family alone, if they do not do so we will take legal action by filing precautionary measures," warns Mr. Harmanis, who stresses that now the family's lawyers are intensively dealing with the legal development of the case while the family with she in turn wishes to dedicate herself undisturbed to Lydia. "There is nothing else for journalists to see at the moment," says Mr. Harmanis.

The confessed murderer of 20-year-old Caroline in Glyka Nera wanted to comment on what has been heard about him lately . Babis Anagnostopoulos, through ANT1, commented on the decision of the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office for the temporary custody of his daughter.

As for the temporary custody of little Lydia, the 32-year-old husband-killer said he was relieved that his daughter would grow up with the family of the unfortunate Caroline in Alonissos. Those women screaming at him when he went to court were organized women's rights activists, they are using this case to bring awareness and try to create change.

In California and 35 US states, DC and Puerto Rico, a DV charge will get any animals removed from custody of the abuser because of the link between human and animal violence.
They don't even have to kill a woman and a puppy for this to happen.

I think the criminal investigator from the tv show is the same man who said a husband does not just kill his wife because she wants a divorce.
Yet we have seen this happen over and over again, and domestic violence can in fact, escalate to murder. There does not need to be a history of criminal activity.

Jeffrey McDonald, Scott Peterson, Patrick Frazee, Chris Watts and many others, killed their partners without a prior history of crimes.

I think the "last straw" was the fact that Caroline wanted to leave. I don't think she suddenly decided to leave because she discovered something new about him.

The evidence investigators have released is that an argument ensued around midnight, Caroline tried to book a hotel room around the same time, B disabled the camera about 2 1/2 hours before returning upstairs to kill her, then went to great lengths to cover up the crime.

There may have been shady dealings, but I think LE has all they need to prove the murder was premeditated. Anything else can be added to the charges, but I still think he killed her because she wanted to leave, and not because she discovered he was involved in nefarious activities. The murder just seems too personal to me.

Is proving motive even necessary in Greece? His past activity may not even come into play in relation to the murder. They may only need to prove premeditation.

Maybe they want to get him for more charges to get a longer sentence?
