Fellow weather watchers.over 100k people are watching that flag now!
And the last stripe on the bottom of the flag is almost off. That wind is strong.
Or used another flag. It's hard to see the stars & stripes get ripped up.I keep seeing that on CNN (I think it's Cape Fear, SC). Wish someone had removed the flag![]()

Dear Al Hoffman,
Thank you for sharing this story about humanity, someone who was indeed "enterprising" by stealing batteries to save someone's life.
You have such a natural way with words and the details are enthralling.
If you haven't already written a book, or two, I genuinely hope you do. I'd buy them.
Who doesn't want to read about human experiences in situations like this? You have a gift for shining a light on humanity during difficult times.
Namaste,
Zen
Meteorologist Ryan Maue of WeatherModels tweeted some projections on Thursday morning. Maue's models suggest that around 17 trillion gallons of rain will fall across North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and Georgia with some spots receiving as much as 30 inches of rain before Florence is finished.
How interesting. Thanks for sharing. The Waffle House Indicator

Sorry about that. Just talking to myself.
Please talk to me too. Please!
Brings back awful memories. The worst is hearing it at night with loud bangs and not knowing what just went down. Was it a tree or part of someone's home? I hate that feeling.
RIP Gazebo.
Whoops wrong pier. Gazebo is still hanging on.
Here's another pier:
