EXCLUSIVE: 'You come in here and I'll cut you.' Accused Idaho murderer Bryan Kohberger taunts guards, exposes himself and sings violent rap lyrics as he sits in jail awaiting extradition

WOW!
He doesn't seem to act very sanely, but they may be part of an act to get an INSANITY PLEA.

I had not seen the blood dripping down the outside of the property before, it really shows how horrific this crime was and therefore how it would seem pretty much impossible for a perpetrator to leave the scene without there being some evidence to link him to the crime scene.

In my opinion that is not blood "oozing through the walls" of the house. Blood spilled inside a house can no more ooze to the outside of a house than can a kitchen spill seep through the walls of a house. It just doesn't happen--too many barriers. Unless we are talking about a Hollywood moves---like the elevator scene in The Shining, IMO

Maybe I’m going out on a limb here, it I’m now wondering if everything he has done so far has included at least one small detail or action that was done by every serial killer that he has studied.( similar to the movie ‘Copy Cat’ where killer killed multiple times but each kill was coppied from another killer).

Does anyone here at WS know of any infamous killer/s who acted like this after capture?

Just curious
…almost forgot, just in case it isn’t obvious this is ALL MY OPINION

down with possessions and go from sofa to sofa.

Just reading about BK’s rapid weight loss (and ability to keep it off), the running long distances, gaunt looking, up all night per neighbors. Coffee drinking - which meth users do to boost their high with caffeine. I really believe meth was his thing. Not heroin. Would not doubt if he was using meth in WA.
No expert here, but to hear what he is allegedly stating and doing in the jail (if true), it does seem like he is literally mad or else potentially trying to appear "criminally insane?"
not an expert in forensic psychology or psychiatry, but in this article a past professor states:

“I was one of the professors who helped Bryan with his proposal on his graduate thesis, his capstone project. He did put out a routine questionnaire for his thesis. It looks weird, I understand from the public view. But in criminology it’s normal,” she told the Daily Mail.

“It’s a criminology theory called script theory, it’s a normal theory on how and why criminals commit their crime, etc.,” she said.

Accused Idaho killer Bryan Kohberger was a ‘brilliant’ student, his professor says

here we go:

if he actually said this , it's a confession no?

He’s healed
But there was DNA evidence. I am in no way minimizing his actions or behavior and I am not sure if these Mail & Guardian reports of recent jail words and actions are accurate, but he may have been so inside his own mind without positive influences. What is sad is others are further alienated, but clearly he could have become a halfway decent professor somewhere. That has some status and prestige to some but certainly stimulation and potentially even meaning and purpose. I am puzzled because the movie theater Batman incident involved someone who did poorly in a hard science program, but it appears BK only completed one semester. I guess we will learn more of what he wore in the house and about the dad and the car ride.

The effects of heroin are severe and it may have allowed him to reach the breaking point sooner or more intensely: What are the long term effects of heroin use? NIDA/NHS

I don't do not get why there is this recurring thought that something must have been put in the air to debilitate or drug the victims. Where is any evidence for this? And why is it a needed factor in explaining these murders?

I have an adult child who was in rehab for a year. Staring at the wall not talking to anyone. Then this behavior…. Sounds like substance withdrawal. MOO

Yikes, that has to be so difficult. A year of talking to no one and then started acting out? How does that work, after a year they still have differing types of withdrawal? Excuse my ignorance, I have no experience or knowledge on the subject.

If BCK has been teaching classes and on campus at WSU he would have been Seen.
It would not be hard to ask his classmates, prof, students-

Did he have scratches on his face, or neck mid November?

They are taking CJ classes, are grad students in CJ, or are profs in CJ,
Of all people they would be observant

JMO
Exactly. He was right back to his teaching assistant role with students two days after the murders. It would have been impossible for marks not to have been noticed then. That's why I believe his face looks pristine in the booking photo.

If he committed the murders, something had to be covering his face. Which would certainly fit with his expertise and forensics training of what produces evidence that is used in crime solving.

odd

“I just know that they were pulled over in Indiana almost back to back. I believe once for speeding and once for following too closely to a car in front of them,” Monroe County, Pa., attorney Jason LaBar told local Idaho station KTVB on Sunday. I don’t know whether they were speeding or not, or if they were even issued a ticket,” LaBar clarified.
NYP Jan 2nd
What's odd to me is that they were pulled over for following too closely to a car in front of them. In my driving life, I have never seen someone pulled over for following too close. I have been the car in front many many times and have wished that would happen to the car behind me but alas the wish was not granted. Following to close, or what I would call "riding my rear" is so rampant in traffic these days that if cities, counties or states were to ticket drivers for it, those entities would be raking in the cash hand over fist.

I was referring to the two recent reports of BK’s behavior. Only mentioned my child was in rehab to establish that I have experience dealing with a child/ adult who has chronic addiction issues. It’s a hell no loving parent wants to go through. I’m sure he was searched when he was arrested. Going off an addictive substance cold turkey with no medical intervention would produce the same progression of behavior being reported about BK. (Also, with a history of addiction, relapse is very common) MOO

Every time I think that too, I question myself because he would have to have a pretty close friend to accompany him and I don't hear about him having any close friends. JMO
I think it would only be an online type relationship, if any. He was likely discussing crime with people (his studies), and involved in lots of different online groups, IMO. Probably didn't hide too much either because he could claim "research". I want to know if he was a hard core gamer, because I think he harassed women online and enjoyed the violence. We'll see what verifiable information is released about BK.

I still can't kick this feeling that there was someone else involved in this in some way.
I wouldn't be shocked if he had an SK/Killer pen pal in prison or met up/interviewed with criminals to "research."

An online relationship makes sense. Even Lanza could be a bigmouth behind a keyboard. Good point.

Sorry about your child :(

Just lost a friend to addiction last Friday :(

Which reports do you mean?
The jail article has debunked if you are referring to that one

His lawyer stated that BK doesn’t recall asking that question, so I can only assume from that that the lawyer wasn’t present. He would not have been present at the arrest. That’s normal.

Exactly, we said the same thing - or I was trying too anyway....my wording was poor. I should have said IMO that is why his lawyer said BK (not he) doesn't recall asking that question. Thanks for the links.

Fake mugshot, mistaken identity by inmate and multiple jokes about Southwest Airlines. What a night.

Just lost an old high school friend to addiction last Friday :(
