Actually, I think he was and is hoping that RCCL would settle before the video ever hit the internet.
Yep I think they counted on that evidence staying within the court system IMO

They have 20 days to file their answer from the date they were served with the lawsuit

And in lieu of answering they can file a motion to dismiss or ask for an extension of time to respond. But something has to happen within the 20 days.

Do you think they will file a counter complaint? And if so what would they charge ? I’m thinking they don’t want to create negative publicity for this grieving family so maybe just their answer ?

I think he clearly knew the window was open because it looks, to me, that his head was right out of the window.

An Aussie MSM publication have sort of put the two published videos together into one brief video, I think mostly to highlight SA's actions. It is at the start of this article.
It seems far less grainy than the other copies I have seen.

Chilling new video of toddler cruise fall

Hopefully it can be opened and viewed in the US. I know that sometimes there are viewing restrictions between different countries.
That video seems much clearer.

It clearly shows how far he leaned out. I think anyone seeing the video and hearing him say, “I thought there was glass!” would have to laugh if the situation wasn’t so tragic.

JMO but I don't think that RCCL will even consider a countersuit. It could cost more in PR than the suit would be worth to them. Think about how it would appear to future cruisers if the cruise line would add to a grieving family trying to recover from the death of their precious toddler who died while on their cruise ship.

I can't tell if anything is in his hand. If he had a cig, how could he pick up CW two-handed with a lit cig in his right hand?
Couldn't he do it if he had a vape in his hand?

not that I can find in MSM

I am questioning if he really was offered one. I don’t want to believe he was. Chloe deserves justice.

Thanks I can view it - honestly I don’t think this lawsuit should move forward else they might get a counter-complaint
JMO

A counter complaint is an interesting thought
Any witnesses or RCCL employees with PTSD.
If there is any compensation owing to anyone it should be him paying.
What about the money spent investigating these damn lies!

Hang your head in shame gramps lying to save your own arse blaming Chloe for wiggling, RCCL for YOU not seeing the window....your name is now mud.

It's surprising that there hasn't been a counter suit by RCCL before now.
They would be within their rights, correct ?

It’s no wonder RCCL just sat quietly and watched them all implode.
They knew they had the trump card all along.
Yet still they paid for their travel and everything they needed, apparently.

He lifts her so high it looks like he's about to throw her out the window IMO.
That's because *deep breath* HE DID THROW HER OUT THE WINDOW. IMOO

How soon will the family drop their ridiculous charade?

An act of games:

“Chloe, look I’m going to drop you” and then he dropped her.

Ugh.
Just makes a person wince !
He lifted her above his head to place her there... this was no casually leaning holding her at his waist level to 'look out'.
It took some effort.
I wonder how he going to explain why he lifted her up so high? That is crazy high...something you might do in a swimming pool.

I don't know anything about
vapes to respond. Anyway, what baffles me regarding the video is after he picks her up with two hands, you immediately see his right arm free leaning on the rail. Unless there is a delay on the video, how is that explained? How can he free one arm so fast after lifting her with two arms? Where was CW at that point between lifting her and his right arm getting free?

‘Don’t run away from me again’.
A big lazy bully!

With as high as he is lifting her - is it possible he is lifting her up to sit her on his shoulders ?

The video version I saw when I googled it was much clearer than the one on the PR tv show.

ETA: it's about the same as the version posted above.
I felt I could make out more detail in the video when I didn't have it on full screen. I've watched video several times...but intently focused on one small portion of video each time. ex...at window...lifting her...putting something to mouth.

Thank you, it is surprisingly clear, though do plan to view it on my big screen desk top when I have the chance.
Good to know the video is being spread around the world now. Proving that SA is a liar and a baby killer. And Winkleman, him too.
The truth is finally coming out for all to see. About time, IMO.

IMO to lift her past the rail to sit on it. But there are a lot of other ways he could have done that. No sense. He also could have made his arms into a chair of sorts, or just held her at his side. smdh.
