The jury?

Sure.. "No Jury will Ever Convict Me"

You know that actually makes me furious. It shows some really believe if a defendant is a female they should be handled differently by a prosecutor even though they are a stone cold viscious murderer.:furious:

If the defendant was a male they would expect Juan to give him hell...rightly so.

I hate the double standards in this country sometimes.

Unfortunately so much of a trial is theater, staging.

I do think that if Juan Martinez stays cool and methodical, JA will unravel. She has no idea what to do with steely reserve, in my opinion.

I though the whole story was strange. These 2 men who you don't really know just happen to see you, they tell you your man (who is supposed to be their friend) is cheating on you, and with who? What a odd situation.
Her reaction wasn't to go to her boyfriend and ask him, but drive all the way up to have a talk with the woman? Makes no sense... The only thing that would make me believe THAT story is if he had cheated with the same girl over and over and lying to her about it. Even then, still strange.

What a BS story!! Notice how she always "innocently" finds out when her man is cheating? She "accidentally" sees love letters on a computer or these mysterious people came and told her about another BF was cheating.

The truth is that she probably snoops and stalks and THAT is how she finds out but she doesn't want to say that. Just like she was eavesdropping at C. & S. H's house when they were telling TA that Jodi was no longer welcome at their house because she creeped them out.

Purely out of interest, how would that possibly justify the crime she committed? Of course a lot of things can build up if (assuming she's telling the truth) she's been through the same type of relationships over and over again, but still that does not justify that literal overkill.
Besides, as someone pointed out somewhere above, in her relationship with Travis, he was cheating with her, not on her.

I get how this is a possible tactic of theirs, I just don't understand how they might possibly think this could convince a jury that her actions were justified as self-defence.

I'm sure they, the defense, are reaching all the way to the bottom of the bag to find anything that can be used to explain Jodi's actions. Before the defense is through we will probably be hearing about Jodi suffering from "Post Traumatic Syndrome" and not being able to control her actions at the time of attack.:banghead:

It's because the jurors aren't typically well versed in criminal behavior.

IMO if there weren't pictures and her lies... The prosecution would have a very rough road to hoe.

People would never believe poor little Jodi could physically kill him and move him back to the shower !

Remember the 8 year old AZ boy? People refused to believe it.

People have great difficultly with mothers killing their own children. Don't want to believe it.

How many people seriously argued OJ was too arthritic and feeble and must have had help? Too darn many.

Even her story of cutting school was hogwash! Jodi's perfect... She cut class to study! Please!

Then why was she failing when she dropped out?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Well, if I remember yesterday's testimony correctly, she was failing either because of the situation at home, or her relationship with Bobby, or a combination of both, and she just let everything slide due to that.
See, she isn't to blame for that. It was everyone else's fault. Just like it always is.

Its going to unravel for JA no matter what Juan's demeanor may be. Like the defense attorney said on IS. Juan has got a few tricks up his sleeve and he knew all along she was going to testify. I agree........she is way too filled with herself to stay silent.

He is going to bring in evidence we havent heard about in rebuttal.

A man is not going to sell out another man that is cheating. That's breaking the bro code.

Does anyone else have a headache? My head is about to explode. This is so hard to listen to.

Well one thing is for certain she finds fault with everyone but herself.

imo

Not a headache, but for the past 2 days heartbeat is elevated and can "hear" through my inner ear what sounds like blood gushing trough my carotid arteries I think. Stress. Just don't feel well generally speaking. :( Hope I feel better when Jodi gets off the darn stand and STFU! :banghead:

But I'm sure, just like with Casey Anthony, she does not meet the legal definition of insane.

How crazy is that?! But I know that psychopath doesn't always equal insane.
Part of what makes psychopaths particularly frightening is that they are literally wolves in sheep's clothing. One can be your mother, your friend, your lover and you may not be fully aware of their disorder until you're left picking up pieces of a life they helped to destroy. Until then, through their manipulation and preying upon the well-intended motives of their victims they appear relatively normal.

More often than not they are highly intelligent, adaptable, and incredibly, quite deliberately, manipulative. What some of them are capable of presents as insanity simply because it's so far removed from what 'normal' people could do. (By intelligent I don't mean Stephen Hawking, fwiw, I mean a self-preservation kind of intelligence that keeps them a step ahead of others. A cunning ruthlessness.)

There's gotta be a fat gay wiccan hoarder who chain smokes and carries vodka in his water bottle on the jury. Seriously. JA can't be that lucky.

Why am I having the urge to shave off my eyebrows and draw them on way above where they were originally?

In my family, we call that the Surprise Look. Like someone just smacked you between the shoulder blades.

Yes, the pain has temporarily been stopped.

Yes, they should. :snooty:

No I'm just a computer user. I can't take it anymore. I got up at 5am to do laundry. It's naptime. :offtobed: Hopefully HLN will take over the trial coverage so I can listen while I lay down. I'll wait for JVM to sum it up.

We'll let you know if the phone sex tapes are going to be played! ;)

Well that nonsense needs to stop and that is why a lot of victims dont get true justice when it is deserved.

On one case I was on they tried the female defendant and the male defendant together. She was just as nasty and evil as he was:furious:........in fact she egged him on. We didnt fall for her bs simply because she was a female. People need to wake up to the fact females can be just as evil as any man dares to be.

BBM - From your lips to God's ears! Rebuttal will be when the fireworks hit and the best part of trial... after the Juan/Jodi cross exam of course.
